Cristina, Thank You for your kind comments.. I always appreciate it … I enjoy using those corner punches as I mostly do cards they seem to add that extra touch to the finished look especially if they are being emailed… the rose script always achieves a nice result as you get to choose you own colours and they make great elements to add to a project.
Best wishes,
DawnHi Cristina, your page is lovely and the little girl looks so sweet and happy while having some fun.
best wishes,
Dawn.Hello Everyone, just want to say each one of your pages are lovely…. As I registered late for this challenge and then had some Technical Difficulties in trying to post anything in the Forum I have decided to create some pages with Cassel’s tutorials at a future time.
I have enjoyed viewing all of your wonderful projects… so again… to you all… Well Done!
Dawn.
I have often heard the saying take time to smell the roses, so I thought this little project would fit in with this challenge. I have used Cassel’s corner brush, petal tube, waving script and leave1 sampler freebie as well as a rose script from joannes digital design in this project. the rose paper is a freebie at the coffeeshop blog.

hello Michele, your Classy Classical page above is absolutely beautiful !… I love the effect of that script.. I don’t have that one yet but your creation has inspired me to get it some time soon…. the colours are stunning…… your Mother’s Day greeting was also a lovely thought to give to all the mum’s in the campus who had their special day on Sunday.

Hi Marlene… a nice little leaf shape and what a great idea you had of using .wmf images in PSP … I hadn’t thought of that. I have a collection of this type of file so I might try and make some preset shapes from some of them….. thanks for the idea.

I have been meaning to do some of the tutorials from Lab 8 Modules 3 and 4…. and when I saw Cristina’s page I decided it was time to give it a go rather than just think about it…. thank you for the inspiration Cristina !……….. I chose to use one of the photos I used in last years travel tale challenge it is King Leopold Ranges in the Kimberly region of Western Australia… my sister and brother in-law went for a holiday and gave me some of their photos…. I started out with the template from Module 4 and changed it up a bit…. the tutorials I chose to do for this page are Threaded Stitch…Circle of Shapes.. Pinked edge….outlined text. the pinked edge paper doesn’t look perfect but I felt it added a handmade touch. The map of Australia was created with the help of Cassel’s Hammered Metal script… and the background was made using Cassel’s Lino tutorial…. although I have made a scrapbook type page I will modify it a bit more by changing the text and turn it into a greeting card.
Dawn.
Hello Cristina, you have done nice work with the Lab 8 modules 3 and 4 tutorials…. they are very effective… the whole page looks great… you have inspired me to have a go at those tutorials ……. Thank you also for your kind comment on my cards I appreciate it very much…
best of wishes,
Dawn.
Hi Michele, a lovely, creative project for your earth day theme…. you achieved a great result with the planet and hands.. very effective. Your flower tube is so pretty and makes a lovely frame…. love the butterflies…
best wishes,
Dawn.
Hello Michele…. Thank you for your kind comment on my cards. I have really been enjoying making cards lately whether they are for print or email greetings.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Purple Card….Once again I have used one of my hand painted flowers that I scanned into computer. I used a line art drawing I had purchased in a collection a few years ago and used watercolour pencils to paint it….. also used the flower to create soft misted flowers in background….. Cassel’s Corner Brushes and Butterfly script were also used.. I altered the butterfly to have both wings stand upright… Sentiment is a purchased digital stamp….. used a leaf brush I created to add into the background paper.
Rose Card….I made the background paper with the help of a free texture paper from thecoffeeshop blog and the rose was free from the graphic fairy….Cassel’s Corner brushes and Chain Bead tubes were also used…. roses were made with a script from Joannes Digital Design…. the fancy topper is an element I made in another software program a while ago but comes in handy for my projects. the sentiment was a suggestion from my hubby, who as always, takes a great interest in my craftwork…. These cards are made for emailing as I like to send cheer cards to friends and family… just to say hello.
Dawn.
Hello Michele, your page is very colourful, I like the way your background turned out with the kaleidoscope and the petal shape you have created around her face… a nice effect…. thanks for sharing how you did that ….. inspiration can come from many areas… I also can be watching TV and all of a sudden get an idea for a card and feel the need to go and make it …thinking I leave the TV on in the background but soon forget it is on…. I get so involved with my project….
best wishes,
Dawn.
Wanda (Sue), Thank You ! your comment on my page is appreciated….. I think the Forum is still a great place where we can encourage each other’s creativity….. look forward to seeing more of your projects.
Dawn.
Rae, your pages are great and really suit the farm theme.

Cristina, Thank You ! for your comments on my page.
Wanda (Sue)… your page looks great….. your drawing of the turkey is real cute.
Best wishes to you both,

Hello Michele, your pages are beautiful….. .. your Mum’s page was beautiful when I first saw it in the challenge and still is…. the changes you have made are great for your theme of Modern Romance… lovely floral paper and I also like the font… it has a happy feel to it.
all the best,
Dawn.
Hello Christine and Thank You ! …your kind comment on my rose cards is appreciated.
best wishes,
Dawn.
Cassel Thank you so much for your kind comments on my cards. I appreciate all you do in helping me continue to explore the many uses PSP has to offer in my craftwork via all the tutorials and classes.
Terri, lovely photos and I agree they are very cute.
Michele, Thank you also for your comments on my cards. The sentiments are purchased digi stamps so I don’t know what the fonts are however I do like to play with fonts a bit myself to achieve a similar effect….. Your image above is really cute also.. a great hey hole effect.
Dawn.
Cristina, Thank you, I appreciate your kind comments on my card projects…. I do more card making (as it is my main hobby) than I do scrapbook pages, but it is always great to learn from Cassel’s tutorials and master classes as the techniques can be applied to both areas and they also help me to learn and become a little more confident in using PSP…. look forward to seeing you lab module projects…
best of wishes,
Dawn.
I remember going to a farm when I was very little but don’t have any photos and I have not been to a farm since. However my Step Dad took my Mum to visit his friends who lived on a farm back in the 80’s and when she saw the horses she could not resist having her photo taken. Mum enjoyed her day out and said it brought back many memories of her growing up……I have used Cassel’s free hay bale picture tube. ..I also made a lino pattern from Cassel’s tutorial and reduced the opacity to blend it into background paper to create a softer look…. the corner horse images is a freebie from OldDesignShop called Visit to the farm horses.
