Monique: the only think I can think of with your text color is perhaps there’s a gradient effect on the background? Don’t know if that would do it…
Here’s the latest: Great-grand Sonya Anne..

Here’s my Sketch Challenge. I like the way this design worked out. I made a template of the sketch and used cass-raster to mask script which helps with placing the photos. Here’s the kids at their wedding reception.. DANCIN’
Day 5: The design needed work so I decided to follow this tutorial to create a template from a flat image. It came out better than I expected! Here’s the happy bride and groom (and the ring bearer! 😉 )
Susan: That’s why I take every class that’s offered. I get layout ideas from every one, even the Quick Page Busy Busy class has been great to learn how to modify an existing layout. I actually went and created a template from the last assignment so I could start from scratch (sort of like a sketch, I guess, but with layers). There’s a tutorial here on the campus for creating templates: I found it very helpful.
Monique: I like the effect of the photos leaning against the wall. Nicely done!
Susan: very nice! It looks like a wall in an art gallery. Very well done and I can see the sketch layout in your design which was perfect for this project.

Edit: Found an error where I neglected to erase one side of a photo. All fixed!

Catching up. Here is #3 – Dressing the Bride. I did quite a bit of editing on the Quick Page.
Somehow I never got this page via email to be able to post my creations. Here are #1 and #2. I’m focusing on candid shots from my granddaughter, Jackie’s wedding back in June. I got the QP for #3 late yesterday so it will come later. I did get a bit creative with #2 as I wanted to change the tiles to a pattern more conducive to a wedding.
Nice, Bonnie! Lady 22 has interesting templates. Your kitty reminds me of my girl, Eve. 😉
The Awareness Ribbon Palette Round Three is finished!
Can someone else pick up the baton and create the next graphic?
Lois, you already gave us Vanilla Ice. Save Van Dyke for the next round! 😉
OK, all we need now is the letter Y and we’ll be finished! (Lois posted Z awhile back)
Here’s what we have so far:

Here is Project 2 of the Busy Busy class, “The Wedding Singers.” I changed some of the papers for something more suited to a wedding. I also added a frame. Pictured are my daughter, Laurey, mother of the Bride, and Jackie, the Bride. 🙂
Bonnie: We already had Ultra Violet in Round One. Do you have an alternative?

I’m doing the Busy Busy Challenge with some of the photos from my granddaughter Jackie’s wedding last June. Here’s project #1, “A Kiss for Nanny” (that’s me 😉 )

Just sharing an ongoing project I work on daily. I have the template for this smaller calendar so I use it as the desktop image on my monitor. Here’s October that I finished. DEB is my daughter who arrived from California. 🙂 November’s is ongoing..

My granddaughter, Anna, is still fighting on the front lines of the Covid-19 war. She works with patients who have been intubated for a length of time and are having difficulties talking and eating once the tube is out. Being intubated is not a pleasant experience! I’m glad I’m vaccinated 3x!

Here are Rounds One and Two in the Awareness Ribbon Alphabet Game by Color.
Before we end this 2nd round, I thought I’d show you the graphic I have been using to keep track of the Awareness Ribbon Palette #02. I’ve been wanting to incorporate the ribbon graphic and I also wanted to use one of the new Shaped Text formats for the title. (I’m working on a graphic for round #01, it took me a while to get a format. This is based on the boxes of a calendar. I added Black and White to fill out the final row.
So, on to Round #03!
Corrie: It seems we skipped the letter Y
