Annie, I love your musical creation! You did some amazing work with the tubes. I had missed them so I downloaded them after I saw your post. I fear I’ll have to practice more with them. I don’t draw too well with a mouse. I applaud you on drawing them so nicely.
Cristina, your Cuddling Cousins are adorable! Those lab tutorials really challenge you don’t they? I’m still trying to get through them. Excellent work on your page!
I finally got around to creating a Crocheted Lace Edge from the intermediate tutorials. I spent way too much time on it but I learned something new. I made a frame out of the results. I added 2 elements from Pixelscrapper’s and they really brought it together.
May 27, 2019 at 3:19 am #29349Thanks so much, Michele. I very much appreciate your comments. Also, most happy that Cassel has pointed you in the right direction for the picture tubes, they are really great to work with. <3
May 27, 2019 at 3:22 am #29350Thanks, dear Sharon, for your lovely comments on my work, very much appreciated my friend. Your lace frame is delightful and the Cherokee expression is really beautiful, you have done a beautiful job on this creation. <3
May 27, 2019 at 4:56 am #29355This is the result of following the tutorial – Classes, Intermediate, Creative Scrap, Edges, Crochet Lace Edge. It was a great lesson and loads of fun. Again the possibilities are endless. Thanks for takin a peek!
May 27, 2019 at 8:10 am #29366Thanks, Carole. I totally missed the music tubes. I searched in the store instead of the blog. One day I’m going to have to really look through the blog for what else I’ve missed. I was playing around with the staff tube. It’s going to take a lot of practice for me to make it look like a musical staff, but I had fun playing with it to make designs. 🙂
Cristina, that’s a lovely page. Those cousins will treasure it when they grow up. I also love watching the bow scripts run; they’re mesmerizing.

May 27, 2019 at 10:31 am #29367Sharon, Annie, and Michele, great work with the crochet lace edge and the staff tube. I have to try these someday! There are so many techniques I want to try and not enough time. 🙂
Sharon and Michele, thank you so much for your kind words… They are very much appreciated! <3
May 29, 2019 at 3:25 pm #29442Tried the woven 3 today, got muddled at the end with which layer was what beads, so didn’t manage to merge the star beads, so putting the neon on missed the last point. made all items except frame and sample.
tried the string art tut but the download failed .

May 29, 2019 at 7:54 pm #29459I read the latest post on the blog. 10 minute scrap. Group it. I had already chosen the photos for my next project, and decided to follow Carole’s instructions. It took me 7 minutes. Mind you I didn’t make the background papers, or the clip art.

May 29, 2019 at 9:01 pm #29463Sue, the first 10 minutes is only for prep. I never expected anyone to make a page in that time!! 🙂
May 29, 2019 at 9:05 pm #29465we took you at your word 10 minute picture x
May 29, 2019 at 9:31 pm #29466Cassel, I know that the first 10 mins is only the prep. All I did was choose papers, and elements to use. I selected 4 photos, but will probably choose to use two of them, perhaps three.
May 30, 2019 at 3:39 am #29472Sue, this is just too cute, I love it, well done. <3
May 30, 2019 at 3:40 am #29473A beautiful result Trish, well done. <3
May 30, 2019 at 6:04 am #29474Trish, 1- I love your stars project. 2- And can I get an invitation to Tina’s party? It looks like fun! 🙂 3- Your crochet frames are very pretty. 4-Interesting use of Cass’s slats template. I like how you offset the picture slightly.
Sue, see how good gathering your elements worked out? Cass thought it was a finished project!
Dawn, it’s good to see you popping in for a visit. <3

May 30, 2019 at 3:19 pm #29483Thank you Ann and Micfin, surprising what you can do in 10 mins when this scavenger one has taken me all day more or less. thought it would be simple, most were already in my library, this one tested me . Sorry Carole don’t look at the boo boo, at the last minute I caught it with the eraser and didn’t realise till too late, so had to do a patch, not good but better than the mistake xx
I made or extracted most of the, the paper was on images, I big wheel I love, done that by a masking and it came out great. the stone were from the purple site on fb. Picture is my Granddaughter. Love that filigan script. I cant master these vector though.
May 30, 2019 at 4:48 pm #29489I finally got around to colorizing the Vintage Lace that Carole made. They’re just beautiful! Of course I had to scrapbook it as soon as I got it colored. My granddaughter is such a Girly Girl, I thought she’d go perfect with lace.

I finally got around to watching the Over The Top video and I wanted to try my hand at overlays. I used the overlay for all three photos. Thank you Carole for ALL these fantastic tutorials.

May 31, 2019 at 12:11 am #29500I now have a new folder, pending group projects. After taking photos of the Robins feeding their young, and of the Swallows, I created psp files for each of them, adding quotes, dates, photos, papers and elements. I will be able to go back to the files to complete the projects at a later date.
May 31, 2019 at 12:32 am #29502Sue , Trish and Sharon great projects ! …. well done to each of you.
best wishes,
Dawn.
