Minka and Ann. Thanks for sharing these pictures. I am an Osprey fan also, not that we have any here in Illinois. I get my Osprey fix from some of the Explore web sights. This one is an Osprey nest in Maine. It is off season now but they are kind enough to leave the cams and chat open for us all year long. The Osprey should be back in early April. From this link you could find some nests further south that may still be active. https://explore.org/livecams/ospreys/osprey-nest. Here is a picture of the couple that were at that nest last year.
January 14, 2021 at 11:09 am #51520Sue,
I did have fun with the Lab doodles…now what to do with them.
Since you are showing your lovely textures and flowers , thought I would re-post a couple of my own done a while back in Carole’s Master Class-Out of Bounds
January 14, 2021 at 11:27 am #51521Beautiful layouts Lynda, I am a great fan of the out of bounds technique. It gives a professional touch to any layout. I use it in some way or another in the majority of my layouts.
January 14, 2021 at 11:31 am #51522Thanks Sue
January 14, 2021 at 9:03 pm #51535It is lovely Sue … I really delight in viewing your pages … and probably, mostly, because of your wonderful photography. Well done my friend. 🙂

January 15, 2021 at 12:56 pm #51552First … let me say that I love looking at everything everyone does. I do appreciate how supportive everyone is of one another. I’ve had some company and really only getting bits and drabs of time to play, but I do sneak a look every so often to see what’s happening! I love to look at everyone’s work and especially the folks starting out with sandwiches and truthfully … no matter where you are at a level in PSP, it’s just darn fun to play with and learn as you go along. I recently bought a few new scripts and stuffies from Carols store. Been practicing with a few getting the ins and outs of them. This morning I ran out of notepaper here at my computer and in only two seconds time (printer sitting right here) used one of the scripts and made myself some little notepapers. Well, I guess I can save now on buying a scratchpad which I always keep here. I’ll just make my own. Made sure to size them small enough to plop into PSP Print Layout and used auto-arranger to get four to a page. Print out three sheets and you have 12 notepapers. Simple and quick. It’s such a simple thing and I never bothered to do it. Gives you a good reason to tube up something to make them pretty!
January 15, 2021 at 6:09 pm #51564Annie T – Love your Jan 2021 QLD license plate layout. The combination of photos and objects is well done. Your Imagine and the reflection are gorgeous.
Lynda – wow. Now I have to go watch Playing with your Paintshop… I’m never going to get thru the labs. And I am fascinated with your amazing spill over. Your doodles are cool. I really like the heart one.
Karon – Love your Lab 11 Module 1 with the crossstitched birds.
Bonnie – how cool with the hot dogs and hamburgers in the cookout layout. I really like how you put the state in the South Carolina layout. Really enjoyed how you did BEST DAY in Apple house layout. You have so many wonderful layouts!
Raymond – I had no clue how to help you, but I do like the end result. And your Christmas layout is festive and makes me smile.
Sheila – What a fun layout with the cartoon image in it.
Corrie – Your 2020 in Bloom layout is gorgeous.
Michele – Your snow surfers layout is beautiful.
Anne L – May not be scrapbook page but it is gorgeous and I am amazed at your Osprey photo.
Minka – What a neat layout. I like how you did the photos and the screws in the corners. And your lists … particularly the one with the cat is so cool.
Ann S – I enjoy our Oriole vs Osprey layout. Great pictures and shown well in the layout
Sue T – Beautiful flower layouts.January 15, 2021 at 6:28 pm #51567Been busy with labs… From 7-02 I decided to put in a picture of myself as I worked the curled edges. Thought I would throw this one over here to show what I’m doing in January.

Art Gal Kiss the CookJanuary 16, 2021 at 12:08 am #51586Minka, what a cool idea to make the notebook pages to print out and use. Delightful results my friend. 😉
January 16, 2021 at 12:47 am #51590Thanks Val, really pleased you liked my Qld page. You did a terrific job on the curled edges and you chose a good photo of yourself for your colour scheme, well done my friend. ;D
January 16, 2021 at 1:40 pm #51607Wow…so much to see…after I post I will have a good look. Thank you, Everyone, for sharing your talent and creativity.
My last “Elf on a Shelf”. Our last 2 gang members (pickleball players). Some names are easy to rhyme…Wayne, Michelle, Len, Sandy…some are a challenge…Marilyn, Judy, Bonnie. Anyway, it is done. These two are Len and Bonnie…enjoy….
January 16, 2021 at 2:12 pm #51614Oh, my! Wonderful projects! I loved everything I saw. Many of you do such a masterful job of acknowledging each project. I will try but you folks have set the standard high…very high.
Sue, I will never tire of your nature photos. Each time you post, I think, “That is my favorite”. Thank you for sharing. You see the beauty of the world!
Lynda, I love your play with “playing with PSP”. Great job! Your circle doodles are wonderful!
Annie, your enthusiasm and encouragement, make this place feel like family and home. Your love for Australia shines through. I love my home state…and I love how you show your love for your home!
Raymond, I have been working with a lot of extraction lately…it is very time consuming…and you did a great job. I also enjoyed your Merry Christmas page. I am amazed at how many techniques you and Annie use for each project.
Karon, you are faithful to the Labs…I need to try them more…I could learn so much… as you have demonstrated for us.
Sheila, you are nailing the “playing with PSP”. I smile at each of your creations.
Corrie…love the “Year in Review”…they are fun, aren’t they?
Michelle, you are amazing and I love what you did with the ALFL blog train. I have those templates…I need to start using them!
Anne, Minka and Ann, great pages on birds of prey. I am especially fond of hawks…don’t know why…just am. Minka, I love your note papers.
Val, enjoyed your work with Labs. I find curled edges difficult. I am rarely able to get the effect I want. You did a great job.
Each of you teach me so much…information about nature, people, locations, plus…all I can learn to do in PSP. Thank you, Everyone. Have a great weekend/week.
January 16, 2021 at 9:43 pm #51645Bonnie, your work is such fun to browse. You obviously have a great sense of humour. Whenever you post you put a smile in my day, thank you my friend. ;D
P.S. Thanks for your kind words Bonnie, always appreciated. <3January 17, 2021 at 10:25 am #51654Bonnie – I love how you have all of them connected on your bonnie elf 600 layout. So creative… I would never have thought of doing that.
January 17, 2021 at 11:52 am #51656Hi, Val…I didn’t plan to connect them but once I began to arrange them on the page, the connection revealed itself. It’s different. Thank you for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the page.
Thank you, Annie. I always look for the humor.
January 17, 2021 at 1:13 pm #51661January 17, 2021 at 1:55 pm #51664I’m on a roll with my bird pages. Let me introduce you to this little beauty. Nice and warm wrapped up in a down filled jacket. I love Carole’s corner and edge punches. The edge punches are a little time consuming to create, but well with it.
January 17, 2021 at 1:57 pm #51667Being creative while watching the snow blow outside. Roll on Spring, Many of these little birds choose to stay, rather than migrate to warmer climes. Weighing less than an ounce, they are hardy. One of my favourite shots.
January 17, 2021 at 1:57 pm #51668From one of my current Bootcamp assignments: The photo shows the pink sky before dawn after a snowfall back in January through the top of my little wild cherry tree just outside my kitchen window. I use my iPhone Xs at 10x enlargement. No depth of field with it except in Portrait mode. The trees, branch and the bird are from Corel’s Winter Clip-Art kit. I flood filled the darker papers to match the trees. I found that neat font for the small text on the right and under the Tufted Titmouse. It’s called Harrington.
January 17, 2021 at 2:01 pm #51669I’d like to thank you for your very kind comments on my pages. I appreciate it, and it means a lot to me, coming from fellow PSPers. I scroll through the pages on here, and I’m awe at the talent, which oozes through in the pages you all create. Well done all of you, you should be very proud of what you create.
January 17, 2021 at 2:48 pm #51671Val, Bonnie, thank you. I have been trying to understand the basic understandings of animation with “noise”. The main problem is learning how to save a whole project as a .gif file and keeping it small enough to be able to email or post.
January 17, 2021 at 7:10 pm #51692All – thank you for the kind comments on my layouts
Lynda – I love how you did the photo lift and the photo splits.
Sue T – Awesome Bird layouts… you could make a coffee table book with these
Ann S – Love how you did the cherry tree.
Raymond – Your Happy Val’s Day is doing animation quite well. Nice job!January 17, 2021 at 7:12 pm #51694Finally stopped doing labs and went over to the Playing with Paint Shop class. I took a picture of my son and didn’t realize until I got it on the pc that he had leaves over his arms and part of his back. It took hours to try and get rid of those suckers. Had a lot of fun doing this… Will be trying a couple more with the other ones she showed…
January 17, 2021 at 7:27 pm #51697Nice work Lynda … lovely photos, well done. 🙂
January 17, 2021 at 7:30 pm #51698Yay Raymond! Great job my friend, I love it. ;D
January 17, 2021 at 7:34 pm #51699Sue the photography is amazing … as usual … and the pages are a delight … my favourite, that gorgeous little fluff ball chickadee. Love your work my friend. <3
