I found this image in a clothing ad for NewChic. I had to do something with it as it reminded me of Carole’s Playing with Paint Shop Pro webinar. Very clever just like climbing up the layers palette. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
January 30, 2021 at 2:23 am #52283Annie: You changed your picture. Lovely. Love the Cool Cat coming out of the shirt. Looks like something one of my daughter’s cats would do, LOL
January 30, 2021 at 2:24 am #52285I wasn’t sure I would be able to complete Lab 11-1 before the end of the month. But happily some surprises come together.

Again I have used a Kate Pertiet blendable template with the odd change here and there. Photos are from Australian Geographic. Font used for the title is frail&bedazzled. Thanks for takin a peek. 😉
January 30, 2021 at 6:06 am #52291Thanks Karon! Yeah … we can’t cheat time hence the updated photo, lol! 😉
January 30, 2021 at 6:10 am #52292Karon, beautiful work on both my friend. Congrats on completing Lab 11 Module 1 … You Go Girl! ;D
January 30, 2021 at 10:40 am #52293Annie T: I love your Cool Cat. I had to laugh at the cat with the bird on his head. That is how I feel this morning as I am getting ready to start my labs. Being a bird lover, I love your Rock Parrot layout. It’s great how you put text about the bird on the page. And I read you changed your photo. You are beautiful. Guess I need to find a picture and upload it! Though I will not use my dog’s photo this time. I’ll be good.
January 30, 2021 at 10:41 am #52294Karon: I like your Teacher layout. It was cool how you put the Graduation March music as the background paper. What a neat way to do the Volleyball layout with the pictures hanging on string with clips.
January 30, 2021 at 11:15 am #52300Annie: Loving the blendng you have been doing. One of my favorite things to do. Great frame. Works so well with the layout. And what a beautiful bird. I guess sheltering under rocks is where its name comes from? Thank you for the comment on mine. I probably ought to change out my avatar; but it is the same one I have been using for 20 years. One of my first digital scrapbook pages and, yes, the face on it is the now grown up teacher.
January 30, 2021 at 11:15 am #52301Val: Thanks sis for the feedback. Back’atcha on the “ugly” button, LOL.
January 30, 2021 at 12:24 pm #52311Val, thank you! Annie nice new picture and I like your Rock Parrot.
I collect turtles (not the living ones!) and I have a lot of them and showcase them in a cabinet. So I just did another wordcloud on Wordart.com and no surprise it’s a turtle. I just filled the shape with my name and I’m thinking maybe I’ll use it sometimes as a “signature”.
January 30, 2021 at 1:35 pm #52316Karon,Congratulations to your daughter. Great accomplishment. We need all the good teachers we can get. Beautiful tribute to all her hard work. To bad you couldn’t celebrate as you would like but I’ll just bet you are planning a shebang for when you can. I like your Volleyball layout too.
Annie, As usual , stellar work. Cool Cat and Rock Parrot <3 BTW did you change your photo?
Corrie, Your turtle is so cute. Did a great job with the Cloud art.
January 30, 2021 at 3:48 pm #52317Corrie: Your turtle is awesome and would make a great sigtag.
January 30, 2021 at 3:50 pm #52318Lynda: Thank you. Actually she is my granddaughter and will turn 22 in July. She did so well that the University gave her a letter of recommendation as highly desirable. Her aim is to teach high school English.
January 30, 2021 at 7:15 pm #52319Val, you are a sweetie, thank you. I see you have put up a photo of YOURSELF … it is true, you are not a dog, ;D It is lovely my friend … a real person. ;D
January 30, 2021 at 7:30 pm #52323Thanks Karon, your compliments are always very much appreciated my friend. Our Avatars are who we want/need to be at any given time. If Karon wants to be one of her first digital scrapbook pages then that is who she should be. And, we all have a favourite don’t we? I only changed mine up because I was posting a photo for Carole’s ‘Let’s meet… with PSP’ the Imaginary Virtual Zoom Call challenge. Only 8 of us have zoomed in so far including Carole! Link below if you are interested.
😀
January 30, 2021 at 7:35 pm #52324Thanks Lynda, much appreciated my friend. Yeah, I did change up the photo. It is a selfie I took yesterday so very up to date … no point in trying to cheat time, it eventually catches up to us anyway. The huge glasses are new … eyesight deteriorating and issues with my left eye. Simone (my daughter) and I had a laugh at the photo as I look cross eyed, lol! ;D
January 30, 2021 at 7:57 pm #52325Dear Corrie, a lovely wordart turtle. As you and Karon both said you could use it as a signature. I have a thing about teapots, the quirkier the better, lol! Have a lovely day/evening my friend. 😉
January 30, 2021 at 10:24 pm #52327I like the new photo.
January 31, 2021 at 1:20 am #52333Thanks Lynda, very kind of you. Hugs……Annie T
January 31, 2021 at 1:29 am #52335Hello Campus Friends. This is my last post for January 2021. All my work this time except for the art … of course! Font used for the title is Panic. Thanks for takin a peek! ;D
January 31, 2021 at 10:21 am #52340Annie T: you always do such beautiful layouts. I like how you just barely highlighted in color the tea and the Alice in Wonderland group on the page. Makes it so much more interesting.
January 31, 2021 at 10:29 am #52342Annie T, Lynda, Karon, Corrie, Raymond, Mary S, Ann S, Sheila, Michele, Sue T, Minka, and I’m sorry if I forgot anyone. I am excited as this year progresses to see what I can learn from all of you! It has been awesome coming here with this group. You post such beautiful layouts and I learn so much. I can’t wait to see what February brings. And my last one for this month is… Clothespins. I made my own. Here is my layout with Yin Template 16 and Linda Cumberland – A Sweet Devotion kit.
January 31, 2021 at 5:55 pm #52354Thanks Val, very kind of you my friend. I love your Clothespins page. I had to go back and have another look as I was too busy looking at a family of beautiful gals! The clothespins are very nicely executed Val, well done. ;D
February 2, 2021 at 5:32 am #52398Ann, Karon, Corrie, Annie, and Val, it is a joy to come here and see the amazing work you all posted. Great job!
February 3, 2021 at 9:00 pm #52455Annie: Your “Tea Time” is marvelous. I see you used the ledger paper as the main background layering and blending others on top of it. I noticed the picture you used is a drawing of a teapot with the flower inside. Have you ever tried any of them? I’m afraid…I’m chicken. I use loose leaf green tea and I have to admit that I once purchased a canister of dragon pearl green tea for nearly $300. I still have some of it, LOL
February 3, 2021 at 9:03 pm #52456Val: sweetie, you are really making great strides in your scrapbooking. So proud of you. I had never looked at the pictures side by side like this and made me realize that mom really favors Bessie. And that Golda was the same age or younger than mom when her picture was made; but she looks so much older.
February 3, 2021 at 9:04 pm #52457Cristina: you are always so sweet, constantly commenting on the layouts that are uploaded. You really push me to get the labs and challenges done. Thank you so much for always being there.
February 5, 2021 at 9:31 pm #52497LOL! You caught me out Karon. I am most definitely not a fan of green tea, I find it tasteless. I do love red tea (rooibos) a caffeine free tea from South Africa … now that is a flavoursome drop. My dad used to love lemongrass tea. He would harvest a handful of lemongrass, scrunch it up into a teapot and pour over boiling water and let it steep for about 5 minutes … I guess it was a tea full of flavour but again I never took to it. I just loved the artwork and wanted to use it so there you have it. Thanks Karon, always appreciate your comments my friend. 😀
