Ann, Concentration is a good page and you have blended the main photo against the papers beautifully. Your family page is way cute and what an adorable name for the little one, I love it. Well done my friend. 😀
January 28, 2021 at 9:32 pm #52238Corrie, I love this, very cleverly done my friend. 🙂
January 28, 2021 at 9:35 pm #52239Love it Bonnie, well done my friend. I love your inclusion of man’s best friend, cute. 🙂
January 28, 2021 at 9:38 pm #52240Aw, too cute Karon. I am a real Harry Potter fan and you have done J.K. Rowlings proud! ;D
January 28, 2021 at 10:13 pm #52243Hello Campus Friends. I have been busily playing with wordart as directed by Carole in her random challenge. The site I chose is Tagul which is now WordArt.com. Yet again, something that is addictive my friends … kinda suits my personality. In both cases I copied words of poems to fill in the shapes. I will be creating a page using a wordart but for now these are two that I had fun with. Thanks for takin a peek! ;D
January 29, 2021 at 4:26 am #52245Well dear Campers, I did get this one completed today. The layout is from a Kate Pertiet template with a few minor adjustments. These little flowers are native to a very small area of Australia and photographers come from all over the world to capture their beauty when they bloom … which is infrequent as it must be 1 year after a bushfire followed by rain. For that they are definitely in the right area of Australia! The petals are fluffy like a ducklings down. The wordart was fun to do on WordArt.com but I think it would be much better displayed on a solid background … this is just too busy. But there you have it … something a little different from my usual style. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D
January 29, 2021 at 5:50 am #52248Karon, you should be proud of your sons and their commitment to keeping the values of the United States alive. When I look back upon the decision to make serving in the military optional, I think that was a mistake. I also think giving up to 50% of the citizens the right not to pay any income taxes at all was a mistake as well. I don’t care how little that should be it would have required them to put a little “skin in the game”. I can remember my father doing his own income taxes and writing a check for $400-$500.00. While I’m sure it was a burden it also made him more proud to do so.
Thank you for writing.
Raymond
January 29, 2021 at 1:25 pm #52249Dear Raymond,
Thanks for your post concerning our political turmoil. Thanks for your service. Two of my sons served in the military. Please keep posting – I love your contributions starting with your redo of your daughter’s photo of her youth. I’m hoping to get back to the forum with 2 projects I am working on, but have not finished.
January 29, 2021 at 5:47 pm #52251Basic Scrap: Module 4 – My great-granddaughters are now 7 months old (hard to believe!) I need to practice for the next new baby’s arrival; we’re expecting a boy in early February! Here are Magic and Sonya.
January 29, 2021 at 6:03 pm #52252Annie: Your wordart is FANTASTIC…. Will have to give a go sometime. Pink Flannel flower is beautiful. I like the addition of the wordart within its border on the upper left and all the information.
January 29, 2021 at 6:05 pm #52253Raymond: Thank you. I am really proud of them both. The former Marine is now working with the Army and the former sailor is now a nuclear technician. Both have done good. I don’t know if you recall the U.S.S. Greenville; but he was on that sub when it happened.
January 29, 2021 at 6:05 pm #52254Mary: Send your sons my best. They should be proud they served as I know mine are. Can’t wait to see what you have been working on.
January 29, 2021 at 6:06 pm #52255Ann: A darling layout for sure. The little “pumpkins” are as cute as buttons. I can see you are a proud grandmother.
January 29, 2021 at 6:38 pm #52257Karon: Thanks for your kind comments but make that GREAT Grandmother.. I’m the elder in the family. 🙂
January 29, 2021 at 6:39 pm #52258Annie thank you!!! I read you did win in the bootcamp draw a couple of days ago. Do you already know what you are going to buy in the store? Lucky you.
Karon thank you. It took me some time to come up with the idea how to make this layout without any photos or embellishments. Your Kings Cross I lovely.
January 29, 2021 at 6:53 pm #52259Ann: I bet you are a “GREAT” grandmother and well loved by all the grands. So far I am just a grand; though my granddaughter is getting married in June.
January 29, 2021 at 6:54 pm #52260Corrie: Thank you for your kind words.
January 29, 2021 at 7:21 pm #52261Ann S – Your Bootcamp memories are great. I like your computer with the scrapbook logo on it. Wow – your new bridge layout is a neat way to show the bridge off. YAAAA an Owl! Your page works well with the limbs coming out and the colors. Your family one makes me smile. Great granddaughter? No way. You are too young for that. I’m sure they will love your layout and I can’t wait to see the ones you do of your great grandson.
January 29, 2021 at 7:21 pm #52262Annie T – I like your transparency use. I tried to install the plug-in but I can’t get it work. Of course being a bird lover, your cockatoo is great. You really bring out the colors of the bird in your blocks. Your word art is unique. I love how you were able to use different sized fonts. Beautiful pink and white flower layout. I have never seen a flower like that before. Thanks for posting the layout.
January 29, 2021 at 7:22 pm #52263Raymond – Thank you for your service. My father was in the Air Force and I have many relatives in the military. Please continue to post your layouts. I think this is a great place for me to learn about scrapbooking and PSP from others.
January 29, 2021 at 7:22 pm #52264Michele – I like how you emphasized the picture with the multiple frames.
January 29, 2021 at 7:23 pm #52265Corrie – Your Words are powerful is fun! I like how you used different fonts and ways to make the words stand out on the page.
January 29, 2021 at 7:23 pm #52266Bonnie – The photo shoot pictures look great on your page. I like how you did the inset photos.
January 29, 2021 at 7:23 pm #52267Karon – What a cool page with Kings Cross. I love your layout of Universal Studio photos with the Harry Potter elements.
January 29, 2021 at 7:26 pm #52269In January… I’m still working on labs. I have to post my ugly button. I laughed so hard when I finished. I had the right idea, just not the right dimensions and didn’t catch it until the end. I just have to share it so you can smile as well.
January 29, 2021 at 7:43 pm #52270Lovely things going on in the forum. Everything is fabulous.
January 29, 2021 at 9:09 pm #52271Val, I just love your ugly button! In scrapbooking things are not meant to be perfect Hon … just like in real life! Well done my friend. 🙂
January 29, 2021 at 9:14 pm #52272Thank you Karon, very much appreciated my friend. I can assure you that if you start playing with WordArt.com you run the risk of addiction, lol!
January 29, 2021 at 9:20 pm #52273Dear Val, thank you very much for your lovely comments. Very much appreciated my friend. 😉
January 29, 2021 at 9:23 pm #52274Thanks dear Corrie, much appreciated my friend. I haven’t heard anything about the winners of Bootcamp … I seem to be having a lot of problems with receiving emails. I do check my junk folder just in case. Who knows, maybe something will show up! ;D
