Here is my second Love Challenge project from Day 2. I really enjoyed learning a lot about using masks. The photos are from my hometown in Germany.

Using Text Wrapping With PaintShop Pro, I created this layout. Posted it in What Are You Working on in August 2021. Today though, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the instructions for “Puffy Paint”. Thanks, Carole, for the help – the new alphabet was much improved from the last attempt.
I can’t really pinpoint one specific webinar tut as Carole has shown us this technique many times.
This is something I started over a year ago and thought I would complete it tonight. I used one of my favourite scripts, Laser round cut doilies and think there is a you tube vid on it. Now, when Carole demos this, she uses the brush tool. I love to see if I can use something different and you absolutely can. I used the brush tool, vector shapes and even a tube of mine. As long as you change it all to red it will work. Although it is a lovely lacey pattern it will be flat so, I used the technique as taught by Carole to select a wedge area, went to selections, modify, feather, adjust, brightness contrast, brightness about 6 all around choosing the same sections. I did the same again to get the adjacent section but repeat but darkening by about the same amount. This makes the Doily wavy. I used 3 layer of doilies, reducing in size. The bottom one is left flat. I also used a bead tube from the store and used vector tube script to enclose the photo. TFL
Each Lab offers 3 video lessons, 2 fonts, 1 template + other suggestions to enhance your layout. I really like the template in LAB 11-08 which is 2021, August. I actually used it several times.
Sheila, you have created an incredibly beautiful wavy doilie. It’s amazing what can be created with time, and the right techniques. Superb work!

Diane Co., isn’t great when one finds a new use for a tool? I actually found a different use for that command, just last week (I used it for the Cheese script!)

Day 2, I am not sure if this challenge was from the basic scrap course one of my first bootcamps that I worked on. I actually thought boot camps were for new members so had let a few go by before participating. Sizing photos, choosing elements and papers. Learning effects were all on the go here.
Thank you Carole and Sue. I am so enjoying finding all the things I have done past and present, even though they are on discs saved for prosperity. Taking some time as I have many, many to go through and easily side tracked. I love to create some things more than layouts, things that can be added to a page. Carole gives us the tools and inspiration to help achieve this.
My 1st 1 for today (and my only one, I think). This was created from Lab 5 Mod. 9: polka dot paper, text paper, eyelet ribbon and how to make a metallic eyelet.
Believe this was the first thing I did when I purchased the Diamond Membership – which I thoroughly enjoy! Thanks Carole for your leadership and help all these years – even though I really only enjoyed all of this since somewhere around the beginning of 2020 or maybe the end of 2019. I had been enjoying PSP Ultimate for several years before that, but had never really understood layering – had been working in restoring pictures (pixel by pixel in some cases!).

In (I think) april 2021 I followed this course. We’ve had a lot of pets over the years, so my layouts were about them.
After my first bootcamp in May (2021) I bought the Scrapbook basic course. I highly recommend this course, it covers even more than the bootcamp and you get handouts(which I still refer to). 5 projects at my own pace gave me time to think about them and find supplies. Its very interesting to read what you have all written as well as your fabulous layouts and projects.
Still fond of this layout from one of the beginner classes, which I continue to attend, month after month. Here I learned to apply a select borders frame which I continue to use all the time. Plus we learned to add alphas instead of text for the title. The occasion was great-grand Logan’s gender reveal when a young bear came to party with us.

here on photos of my granddaughter )) one was extracted before, and the small other, just on the photoOther effect FilterForge on the large photo, for the portrait, I just use some overlay ))

I did this painted Rose from the Art media webinar in May. I was really pleased with how it turned out as i am not really as artistic with a pen or brush for real. I used a reference photo from somewhere like Pixabay or it could have been a photo of mine, I can’t honestly remember. Think I will have to revisit this technique again and see what else I can make. I had made a few tests, to see a tiny part of the possibilities. Personally, I only have the FilterForge5 version which was free with activation for 15 days in 2017 on the siteJust like you, Ann, I havent used Filter Forge proparly yet, will do that one time.

I hope to win the Membership, because I can not do thing nice like this without our Teacher Cassel, I really need help still. Right now fighting my desktop its not like hers makes me so upset and hard to find and follow. When I put the 2022 on it changed my 2020 I bought and the 2021 I bought and haven’t ever used.
It is so nice to see all this entries, some of which I remember well, because they inspired me to try something too.

I did this course over a year ago as follow-up on the bootcamp and again a couple of month ago with the studygroup and it was worthwhile to do it twice because I had forgotten some really elementary things!
On this one we learned how to make those squares in reverse order and I made the backgrounds, a dots pattern and the plaid which I learned in the Love Challenge this year. Further the use of letters from a single sheet.
so pretty layout I see all this post )))) For me, I have no merit … I use beautiful kits that I glean here and there !! but when I see what you manage to do without … I think you do a superb job)))

for this project I used several techniques but I can’t say exactly which tutorials I used.
It is cut out word (Poncho, name of my dog) in a photo and with the help of masks the photos are placed in the letters.Marie-Claire, there is a masterclass called no kit 3, which demonstrates this particular layout. I use words to showcase
photos, I like the effect, especially when I include the subjects eyes as part of the selected photos. It’s a great layout, when you want to showcase lots of photos. Lovely page.Here is my project from Love Story Challenge Day 3. I learnt more about using masks and also about duplicating vector text layer and turning the copy into a raster layer, so I could use effects.on text like drop shadow, etc.
I am a long time user of PSP, since version 4 in 1998. I’ve been digital scrapping since 2008. I know enough to get my scrapping done with supplies and templates that I have purchased from various digital stores the last 13 years. But there have been challenges at some of those forums that I could not figure out and most of those stores cater to users of PS and PSE, posting tutorials on how to do things for those programs. I’ve been looking to further my knowledge about PSP so that I can possibly figure future challenges out on my own and that led me here. I joined the campus in July and looking through the lab I came across a layout that I recognized. It is a layout that I did in 2014 with a template purchased from my favorite template designer. Evidently the layout was posted to pinterest and found its way to Carole. Unfortunately, the original gallery the layout was posted in is no longer around since the store went out of business 5 years ago.
So I am posting it for you to see (and don’t expect an entry since I used no campus tutorials for it). This layout is in Lab 8, Module 3 as an example for 2-Element Lab 8 – Module 3 | Scrapbook Campus
