    In April, our monthly theme is ZOO.

    Based on the alphabet, I am sure you can find some animal names, or some activities surrounding a zoo experience.

    Let’s go!

    Because I want more people to jump in the game, I will ask to NOT post two consecutive answers (unless there is a 24 hour period without an answer since it could mean we are stuck)

    Xerus  ~ a small squirrel type animal that lives in burrows in Africa.  No idea if there are zoo’s in Africa .. but there COULD BE!  Cute little thing, sort of a cross between a squirrel and chipmunk.  ??

    Z = Zorilla -belongs to the weasel family and similar to skunk. It is called Striped Polecat (Ictonyx striatus) as it has striped polecats with black fur and white stripes including on the face areas.
