Today, let's meet another of our active members. You will see Anita participating in many activities and posting projects in the forum.
Tell us a bit about you
Greetings everyone. My name is Anita. I was born in France, grew up in Germany where I met my husband, and we moved to the Hudson Valley in New York state, just about 60 miles from the Big Apple. When it was time to retire, we decided to relocate to Central Texas. We had been visiting Texas regularly to visit with friends and we liked the area. It was also a way to escape the cold Winters up North. We share our home with 4 pampered felines who bring us a lot of joy. Just a few weeks ago, my husband and I celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary. Time sure flies when you are having fun.
How did you get to work with PSP?
My interest in graphics started in 1999. Back in those days, we did not have Facebook, so I joined a message board where members chatted about their fur-kids, posted their pictures, and created Birthday graphics for each other. Personal Websites also started to be popular around that time and so I studied everything I could about creating a website for our cat Mr. Mooch, who totally approved of it. I took some courses in HTML and soon Mr. Mooch had his website in 1999. I called it the “Moochtrain”, and he was the chief engineer who decided where the Magical Moochtrain train would go. Of course, he picked some interesting far-away places, like Paris, Egypt, Munich’s Octoberfest, Texas, NYC, Rainbow Bridge, etc. I left some of the pages in their original state when I first started them, so I could see how the Moochtrain progressed throughout the following years.
If you would like to take a trip on the Moochtrain please enter here:
After that I created a web page for work, my women’s club, and some pages for my friends just for fun.
I started with Jasc Paint Shop Pro version 6 in 1999 and currently use PSP X9 Pro. I do miss the Animation shop as this does not work in Windows 10 for me. That program was a lot of fun with that program. I love playing with PSP and the fur-kids are always ready to pose and be part of the fun.
How did you get to join the Campus?
I found out about Scrapbook Campus in 2020, when I had seen a mention of it on the PaintShop Pro Maniacs, and PaintShop Pro Themes Group Page, and it sounded very interesting. I enjoy playing with PSP and am always ready to learn new ways of using all the tools available. The Campus is great. I enjoy all the Master Classes, Bootcamp, Challenges, Tips and Tutorials, etc. I very much appreciate all the help from Cassel and all the members there. Everyone is so talented, friendly, and helpful. Though I am retired, I still do some part-time and volunteer work. But in my free time, I play on PSP, visit the Campus, and attend the Master Classes.
Can you share some projects you created?
Here are projects created during the Scrap Bootcamp.
These are from the Love Story challenge.
Now, if you want to see more of Anita's work, hop to the forum, check out the latest challenge, and she will probably be there posting her projects! And you can also join our DIAMOND membership for access to many classes to guide you on how to create wonderful projects too.

Well done Anita for achieving what you have. Is Leo the cat a Maine Coon pedigree?
Great work Anita!!!
I’ve been using Paint Shop since version X9, then 2020, 2021, and now 2022 Ulitmate with the Mega Bundle. I love playing with it too. I just need to get out and do more photography and video. Yes, I have Video Studio 2021 Ultimate and the Ultimate Bundle too.
I am currently a college student, at 59 years old, going online for my B.S. in Computer Science/Software Engineering. I am in my second year with a 3.89 GPA. I also have Adobe’s Creative Cloud All Apps (student). MS 365. Etc. Over 3TB of applications.
I will try to post some of my pictures here in the near future. I just found scrapbookcampus in 2021 and love it. I am in their Discord channel too.
Hooray, Anita! Congratulations on being awarded the Gold Star. We have similar interests with cats and computer graphics and I also work part-time since I retired. I am still enduring the winters here in the Hudson Valley. Your designs are delightful, Mooch’s web page is wonderful! Welcome Aboard! 🙂
Hi Anita, 🙂
Nice to see you are portrayed as the new Gold Star!
Although you haven’t been here for a long time, you are very active and have shown us many of your great layouts.
I checked Mr. Mooch’s site… He sure had done some traveling!
Best wishes!
Great reading about you, Anita. Your projects are as beautiful as your cats!
Nice to see you here Anita, you are my successor as a “goldstar”! It is so nice to get your work recognised and I love seeing your contributions.
