In these templates, the dates are rasterized so you won't be able to change the font unless you do it manually and redo them from scratch (we won't get into that in this workshop). All the dates are black and although it can be fine for you, let's see how you can change the color for some days of the month. It could be to emphasize the holidays, the weekends, or special birthdates or anniversary dates.

For my page, I used the same color as the background, but a lighter shade to identify the weekends, and I used light green for the weekends in May.
