Day 7

You are on fire!!! You have now done 2 layouts. How did that go?

This third project will be a bit different as it will showcase 3 photos. Do you have three photos of a single event? It could be three photos taken in sequence, or three photos of different people at a single event, or three different objects in a single area. What photos you will display is your own choice.

One specific technique illustrated in this tutorial is the use of a glitter tile as a fill pattern. If you feel that glitters might not be suitable for your photo, try the technique while reducing the scale of the pattern a lot. You might find that the "glitter" effect will not be so "girly" and will turn into a simple texture.

Here is the layout I will be demonstrating.

Watch the tutorial below.

As the Amazed mini was not accessible the "usual way", I found another one. Click on the preview to  download it (now, you have two options to use and you can even combine both!):

If you are a free subscriber of the site, you can download 5 individual elements from that kit from THIS PAGE.

This kit does not have a glitter tile, but if you want some, to follow the tutorial, you can download a set of a few glitters that will go well with this mini-kit. Click on the image below to download them.

Here is another kit you MIGHT want to consider (click on the preview).

If you want to use glitters with the kit above, you can grab these ones.

HOMEWORK

Once you have saved and resized your layout to 600 pixels, upload it in the gallery, in this folder. Then, go to the forum, and post it for others to see and get inspired. Remember that every layout will be different so we are curious!

Did you use those glitters? Even if you are not a "glitter-person", you can still use them and by reducing the scale, it will create a texture that might not even look like glitters.

Another technique that I would like you to apply is how to resize images CORRECTLY (without distortion) to match in height even if they don't match in width, using the Guides.

P.S. If you are posting your projects in the GALLERY only, we migh tnot see them and I might not count them toward the draw. Please, post them also in the FORUM!
