I was able to travel to SC for Thanksgiving to visit with a close friend and spend Thanksgiving with her 4 children/their spouses and 10 grandchildren. It was total chaos but it was so wonderful seeing them...first time since Covid. Children do love to climb trees...I did. Template by Lady 22. Template 51...the latest at this time.

Day 7...took forever because I could not be happy with the text. I changed fonts and colors many times. The photos begin in 2002 as most of my digital photos are from that time forward.

Day 6
This project took longer because I kept changing the photo I wanted to use. Poppy came to live with me a couple of days after the top photo was taken. It's a blurry cell phone photo but it is OK for this...she is 5 weeks old. There were 5 kittens in her litter. I was promised one but the lady who was finding them homes kept giving them away and by the time she got to me, Poppy was the only one available...lucky me! She tested positive for feline HIV. The vet says they sometimes test positive because the mother cat has HIV (mother cat was feral) and that she may not have HIV. Several weeks later Poppy tested clear and is a healthy, happy cat...very stubborn...but I love her!

This is my cat, Poppy. In these pictures she had been with me about a month...I got her at 5 weeks. In the vertical picture she bypassed the kitten chow to share with the "Big Cat".

Wow! What great photos/pages...snow, bright sunny day, beach, and my cute fix for the day! Beautiful pages everyone. Pirkko, I have thought to use Hue/Saturation/Lightness...great idea and results! I often don't like to use quick pages as they don't offer the flexibility to turn off the things I don't like. That being said, one my all time favorite layouts is a quick page. Thank you, Carole, for this fun challenge! It took longer to find the photo than it did to complete the page! The photo is from 2011.
