  1. This first Quick Page uses a photograph of a statue of a crocodile. This photo was taken at Gethsemene Gardens in Christchurch. Sadly, these garden are no longer. My next Quick Page shows a cruise ship docked in Circular Quay on Sydney Harbour, Australia. For the non-scrap page, I chose a photograph taken of my parents on the occasion of their engagement, probably in 1946. Jeni
  2. My first Quick Page has an image of the TSS Earnslaw on Lake Wakatipu, coming in to drop off passengers at Walter Peak Station, across the lake from Queenstown, New Zealand. . My second Quick Page shows my friend, Joan, and me at Circular Quay, Sydney, Australia. My Facebook Quick Page has a photograph of a tiny lighthouse in Coopers Creek, Otatara, Invercargill, New Zealand. I found a tube of some flip flops, called jandals here, in New Zealand. Jeni
  3. Thank you for this course, Carole, I have enjoyed it very much. I've been using PSP for many years, although started with Photoshop back in my work days, and I have still learned things I probably should have known, and didn't. The drop shadows have always been hit or miss with me, and now I have the explanations, it helps to know what to do there. I also found a few great tips and have typed them all up in Word for future use, and I find it is better to remember that way, especially that ctrl l for copying to a new layer, I've always gone the long way to get that result. I'd love to do the BootCamp again, and I will keep looking at any others you have created. Jeni
  4. Day 11 Project 5 Travelling along the lakeside highway from Queenstown, we chanced upon this scene. Sheep were being moved from one area of the farm to another. This happens often in country areas. Jeni
  5. Ann, thank you. The Bees flight path came from Marisa Lerin at Digital Scrapbook. I searched their pages for anything bee-related, and a few different flight paths are available. Jeni
  6. Project 4 Day 9 Well, that is something new I learned today, making that pinking shears effect, thank you, Carole. A few years ago, I was at an afternoon tea at Ohinetahi in Governors Bay, near Christchurch. I arrived home with several pictures of honey bees I'd seen hovering around the flower beds. I decided to use them in this layout. Supplies used were from Jessica Dunn, Rachel Martin, Marisa Lerin, and Violet Irisovna. Jeni
  7. Thank you, Carole, the photos are all the same size, and the waterfall I thought needed to be portrait, not landscape. The second one, the photos are all going the same way, so they probably work better. I rarely do long skinny pix, mostly I try for landscape, except when the subject demands a tall skinny pic, as per the waterfall. Jeni
  8. Hopefully, this image is okay for this project. I used a snowflake brush I had in PSP, and covered my background with that, instead of adding any elements to my image. Where I live, I am lucky, because I have such beauty on my doorstep. Thanks Jeni
  9. Bootcamp, Day 7 Project 3 I chose 3 images, sized them as per instructions, and altered the alignment to fit them on the page better. I will try and create one where the images are all sitting the same way. Papers and elements by Janet Kemp. Font is Gill Sans. Jeni
  10. Thanks, Bonnie. Unfortunately, we don't have hummingbirds in New Zealand. It would have been a nest of thrushes, I think. Jeni
  11. I posted the challenge in the bootcamp, not realising they are two different entities. Here, now, posted in the correct place, I hope. Jeni
  12. Another image is complete for Day 5, I hope. I was at a park a few years ago and was smelling this beautiful rose, Hot Chocolate. As I moved away, I glanced down, and there, where the branches joined, was a nest of about 4 tiny birds. The gardens were full of people, all stopping to smell the roses, just as I had, and no one noticed the treasures in the nest. Jeni
  13. I apologise, I didn't realise the challenge wasn't part of BootCamp. Receiving the two in the same email confused me. This is all new to me. I have fixed the shadow that was missing on one of my images for Day 5. Jeni
  14. Great work, @bina greene I agree with what you say on the culinary pages, and keep most of those ingredients in my pantry. I love pomegranate molasses and add that to stews and casseroles. Pizza is never the same without anchovies and I tend to add olives and capers as well. I love the background on your souvenirs page. and your layouts all work well.
  15. Day 5 I'm learning some great tips and tricks, thank you, Carole. This image is another of my photographs, taken on a garden tour in 2018. Thank you Jeni
  16. Day 2 I managed to get this shot of a nosy cow after my camera. I hope, this time, the shadows are better. Jeni
  17. I have had another play with this tutorial. I have used a paper, and heart from VioletIrisovna, at Digital Scrapbooking. I created the ribbon using the Penta Dot and Cross filter. The photograph is one I took in 2020 when in Sydney. Jeni
  18. Thanks so much, Bina
  19. With the scrap page, I used some pieces from Jessica Dunn's Curio Pantry. I started with the word Roses much smaller and decided to enlarge that word to balance the page. Jeni
  20. Hi, I have played around a bit with my place setting and sandwich. Jeni
