Euka, what a wonderful idea for those who wish to do the workshop and are time poor. The page looks great and I do think it works well.

Corrie, I love what you have created. The photograph of the children is perfect, and sure, we can't see who they are, they do look as though they are having heaps of fun in the snow. Yosemite was all sunshine when I went back in 1988, and I'd bet it has changed a bit since then. The Kerstmis lettering looks fabulous, the red is perfect.

Haha, so cute! Looks like there is more fun with two of them!

Cats always make me smile, they are such hard cases, yet they also control us! I love cats!

Day 7 This one was tough, I couldn't think which photograph to use, so I went with the colour green. I used Rachel Martin's kit suggested, she had some great colours there, and plenty of greens. Thanks for the interesting workshop, Carole, some wonderful ways to play with text, I must say. I really love the way everyone works together to encourage each other. Thank you.

Day 6 I finally got time to do more of the workshop, only one more page to go. This wee dot is the grandchild of a friend. Her name is Poppy, and in a few days, she will be four years old. The word pēpē means baby in Maori, Poppy was just born when this photograph was taken, she lives in Australia, and I have yet to meet her, and her almost 1-year-old sister, Ruby. I love the brightness of the papers here and decided to create piping between them and the image of Poppy. For some reason, I didn't get stroke objects in raster; they didn't show at all, but the various layers for the wool did show up, so no drop shadow there.

All three layouts are beautiful, Anja. I love the text fill in the second one, and they all look fabulous.

Day 5 I used the photograph of a couple of teapots at a cottage I stayed at for my 70th birthday a few years ago. Having one very colourful teapot worked well with the kit mentioned for this template.

Your portraits are beautiful, Jannette.

Daniel, I got a great Black Friday deal for PSP2023 Ultimate a couple of weeks ago NZD60. I also downloaded the Humble Bundle set as well. I am using 2023 for some of these pages, no glitches yet, I'm not waiting for any, either

Thank you, Jannette, the blue font is Cooper Black, not one I have used very often. In this instance, because the village is called Coopers Creek, I thought the font relevant. I used Alien Skin 5:Impact to give the font a bevel, sort of reminds me of jelly beans.

Happy Birthday, Mary, looks like a great party was held.

Day 4 This one took me a couple of days to play with. The colours just didn't seem to work for me, so many changes later, and I went with summer colours, the sun, and the blue sky. Coopers Creek is outside of Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand, and about a half-hour west of where I live. As teens, we would head out there to party and I had no idea there was a small village there, until recently. This lighthouse building really appealed to me. I'm unsure what it is; and it could be a children's playhouse. The sun paper and the daisy came from Janet Kemp at DigitalScrapbook, the quote is one Marisa Lerin had created and I used the quote itself.

Of course, Carole, I wasn't thinking. I automatically save .pspimage files to 7+, so I need to stay awake when creating in 2023. Great tip. I saved all my shadow presets in x8. It seems I will just have to copy them into 2023 when using that version. I've been chasing my tail today. We have been putting up gib in the lounge and haven't had much time to play. I'll be away on days 5 and 6 and will try to get them all done when I get home.

Ann, I love the fog page, the blues are colours I particularly love, and the poem is superb, the photos are so soft and misty looking. It is lovely to see the work Jackie is doing with these beautiful creatures. What a great job your granddaughter has.

Day 3 I like to use two fonts at the most in any project I do, haha, there goes Day 2 I began with Billboard in bold for Chocolate, then Angora for the word Hot. Well, Angora wasn't going to work for the journalling, so I went back to Billboard, no bold for the text there. Thanks, Carole, for that hint about the text, and later versions. I didn't know that. Mind you, I'm new to 2023, using x8 or x9 for years, yet it is relevant to both those versions. I have always ensured my images work with PSP7, and the jpegs can still be saved for that version. For this page, I have used an image I took years ago of a beautiful rose, Hot Chocolate. It was only when I was looking for info on this rose, I found out it was a Kiwi who created Hot Chocolate. This particular rose bush had a family of baby birds living in a nest cradled in the fork where the branches come out from the trunk. In this composition, I have used staples from Sharon Dewi Stolp available from Digital Scrapbook. She had a lovely green paper with white daisies on it, so I used the green from her paper for the backing of the photograph, not her paper itself, which is very pretty. The beige and coral colours are in the photograph. The nest down below the flowers. Interestingly enough, others around me, at the time, did not see these birds in their nest.

Thank you, Carole, I had another play with that Steampunk title and I somehow find it looks more of a rusted metallic after adding bevels and a texture as well as a gradient. I used a drop shadow that seemed to make the word stand out more.

Love it, Corrie. Years ago, when working for a newspaper, we received our opposition's newspaper to check out. This was great because the Cryptic Crossword was done by so many o us in the various departments. We telephoned around about clues and answers, etc. It really is quite an addiction.

Great work on both these layouts and their titles, Cristina. I am so jealous of you going to that exhibition; it must have been mind-blowing.

Susan, the entire town is beautiful, with limestone buildings. There is an older part, which is beautifully decked out in a mix of vintage and steampunk. We go there whenever we travel to Christchurch. A little way out, north of Oamaru, is a castle and gardens with a restaurant, and shops galore, owned by the same family.
-
Yes, I have a few steampunk files, it fascinates me. I have some friends who dress that way, not me, though.
-
Ann, wow, a jumping spider! I've seen them fall, but never jump! Eeew, that's pretty scary! The turkey is great. I'm so glad you showed him this year. I hope witness protection is looking after him well. Both images are fabulous!

Those fonts work so well together, Gwen, and that owl, such a wise choice for Watching You! I love what you created with the background, too.
-
I love this collection of fonts. Looking forward to the final page, Anita.

Day 2 This was an interesting exercise, I must say. I enjoyed creating a word from many fonts, it really did make me think. I had to cut and paste the 'unk' from the 'steamp' to bring the letters closer together. It was such fun choosing the letters to use. We have a steampunk museum in Oamaru, a town about 3.5 hours away. I love the museum and the displays around this town. The old town is full of steampunk memorabilia. I used papers from Raindrops and Rainbows, recolouring them to suit. I also used a rust texture to bring the black paper into a more steampunk rust colour. The other paper is a mix of Janet's black and orange papers.
