  1. The game I play gave us a theme today that we've had several times before. I had absolutely no fresh idea of what to do for the daily pic. With all this talk about Pic to Painting, though, an idea appeared. I used one of my screenshots of the game and ran it through PTP using various different settings. Used a brick texture on the wall of the "art gallery" and added a floor I had created a while back. Then I added shots of my avatar in various different outfits and turned them into art aficionados.

    Love all the pics you've all been posting. It's certainly a good way to keep busy while we're home isolating. Hope all are well; stay safe.

  2. Thanks so much, Cristina. The little girl is separate from the umbrellas.

    I started with one umbrella. Duplicated it and mirrored it vertically. Duplicated twice more and free rotated each of those. Then I merged all four to a new layer and rotated that one 45 degrees. Merged all eight of the umbrellas. Duplicated that layer and rotated it 22.5 degrees. I enlarged the bottom layer a little bit (don't remember how much). Hence, a total of 16 umbrellas, eight on each layer.

    Technically one umbrella and one girl. :)

  3. Wow, you've all been very busy beavers, haven't you? Here's a pic I made for my gaming group. The illustration is by a wonderful artist, Malika Favre. I'm posting it to show off what you can do with Carole's Edge Punches. I didn't have a lot of time to play with them, but they were easy enough to make a quick frame. (Click on the pic to enlarge it so you can see the details of the frame.}
  4. Witch hazel has some anti-inflammatory properties so it can't hurt. Annie, I'm not a doctor (I don't even play one on TV), but I would imagine wrapping the wrist too tightly might be a problem. Glad you can knit so you don't go totally stir crazy.
