I wish i could take credit for this beautiful certificate, but I can not.  The heavy gun was brought in, thanks to the the Creative talent of Michele.  Yikes, I hope I dont see that big bad red word on mine!

OOPS! Sorry Michele.  I did see you created it originally, but for some reason when I went back I got it in my head that it was Susan.  Thanks Susan for letting me know about this.

  2. I suspect Donna had no idea what she would start with her comment "I really think that I need to go to rehab for a font addiction". Also

Susan when she created the certificate.  Unfortunately they wouldn't let me stay in the program because I have no desire to be "CURED" of mu addiction. LOL

The heart and couple are from the dingbat font Valentine dingbats. The signature is Bigtime. The reject is Alphabet tracing. The rejected for is one of the Arials.

I really think that I need to go to rehab for a font addiction. I can't stop downloading them from CF.

I have been working on letter templates using patterns and different fonts. This font is called Mrs. Beasly which is a thick, free font. The pattern is from a dingbat font called Seamless patterns.

I made the pattern for the letters using cass seamless pattern script, the cass script element stacker to make the layers and then the cass script text creator for the title. I used layer styles for the bevel and saved as a vector so that I could later change the pattern, colors, etc.

Beautiful as usual.. Like a lot of others have said, I suspect I have the same addiction.  However going to rehab would not do a lot of good sense I really don't want to kick this addiction.

Your trip maybe didn't go as planned but it turned out to be a great adventure! For sure psp-2023 is giving us all a headache!

I had  always thought I would like to see Alaska and I am glad we did this.  I think the cruise part would have been better if we were the the kind of couple that liked the entertainment they had available, but is just isn't something we enjoy doing.  When we mentioned at breakfast on our Anniversary that is was our 50th. There were several other couples that said that is what they were celebrating too.

  5. The adventure I have captured here was our 50th anniversary vacation.  It was an adventure from the first to the last day.  The train ride to Dneali was fun, It rained the whole time we were up there though.  We did get to see some wildlife but of course the mountain was hiding in the clouds.  We did have a nice room and the food was good. We then took a bus down to get to our ship.  This was our first cruse so that was fun. Good food and drinks and some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. At a couple of the stops we did do one of the tours.  The pic in the center is from one of those, it was actually on our Anniversary.  The last adventure though was the plain we were supposed to fly home in was canceled because of a bird broke the front window.  What a mess that was trying to get all those people on to other flights.  We wound up having to stay in a hotel another night and fly home the next day.  Instead of having nice seats we were stuck in some really small ones and would not have even been sitting together if it wasn't for a really nice Airline employee doing some magic and getting us seated together.   Creating this has been fun too (not) because of issues when I tried doing it with 2023. When I had it almost all finished, every time I tried to do something it would close.  I finally opened both 23 and 21  and one by one copied and pasted every thin for 23 to 21 so I could finish it.

  6. Microsoft Picture It.  I  have had this program for many years.  It is not supposed to work with Win 10, but so far most of it does.  It is quick to load and I am so familiar with it I use it for quick fixes and crops etc.  I will sure miss it when I get a system that will no longer run it.

  7. I was playing with the July font challenge and though I would post this here too.   "I went in a totally different direction with this.  I got to playing with some of the dingbat letters to see what they would look like extracted from different papers.  Then I decided I would like to know what each letter looked like.  One thing led to another. Well you know how that goes. LOL  I did not put any shadows on anything, but I did make the page of dingbats darker to show up better.  I also posted this pick on the facebook page  in a larger file"

  9. Day 5  I skipped making a project for some of the the days and did this one .  The alpha is cass-Licorice1-Alphabet ex.(with the color changed on some letters) The spinach is from Google then cropped. The spoon is from C F.   ps I still don't care for cooked spinach, but I no longer put sugar on it.

Here's a tropical fish I had in my 5 gallon home aquarium 2 years ago. You can only house one Siamese Fighting Fish (Betta) at a time as they would tear each other apart. In this photo, he was expanding his body and flaring his gills out to meet the threat of my finger. LOL This little guy lost his life by jumping into the filter mechanism. They are very interesting and responsive pets, considering they are fish, but you become quite attached to them. RIP

I am not surprised to see your Betta fish.  Do you still have one?  I had one well a few different ones in one of the two gallon tanks.  I did not have a lot of luck with them because I could not find a way to heat the small tank and I keep my house pretty cool in the winter.  I finally gave up on it because I didn't want to kill any more Bettas.

  12. These are screenshots from an  Audubon Osprey cam.  The background I duplicated and blurred the top one and then erased the part over the Osprey.(I could have done a better job of that)  I then used the same circle to cut out the head shots from other screenshots so they would all be the same size and placed them all over the place. Font for name is French Script MT.

Here is my Wild Cat Calendar for July 2024. The month and year are in Babilonia font. Everything else is in Agency. Someone posted this story and two photos on my Facebook feed a few weeks ago. I have posted the larger version in the Files section at the top of our Scrapbooking with Paintshop Pro group there.

It looks like the lion is getting a foot TICKLE to me.  Another great calendar page as usual. I love seeing them each month.

  14. I got to playing with the USA States shared by Daniel Hess.  I did a bunch of stuff to it including adding Hawaii and Alaska at the bottom and then put it on top of an American flag.   Then I got it into my head to create a July 4 celebration using it.  The background paper is from Creative Fabrica  The text is Microsoft Himalaya from who knows where.
