Are you getting spam?

Today, I found out that SOME "users" are sending spam private messages to other users. When I find something like that, I obviously delete that user immediately. Since I don't have access to everyone's private messages (they are private after all), if you ever get something like that, let me know as soon as possible along with the username of the sender so I can remove them immediately from the site.

 

Your privacy and safety is important to me, and you should never get spam messages from anywhere in the Campus.

I haven't received any spam either. I have received and sent private messages though. I don't understand why anyone would want to do that.

No, I'm not getting spam at all. I wonder what do these messages look like? May be the users who do this do not really realize that they do it or?

Actually, I suspect they are bots. I did get one notification (which tipped me about it) and it was someone looking for a mate. So it is definitely not an "accidental" message, and likely not even a "human".
