Lynda, you are having fun! It is amazing how the same tutorial will yield such different results when the user adds their own personal touch. I see you added some work in turning the digits on the right side for the traditional clock face! Good work.

we need a tutorial on reversing those numbers I worked out what was needed  and the only way I could turn them was putting each on a layer, but only half the clock seemed to go right, so a tutorial please. xx

In order to get the digits in the "right order", you would have to turn them individually by 180 degrees, while keeping them on the same line.

TURN ALL OF THEM 180

I turn each one in increments , I think it was fliping them that cause the problem 9-12 and i-3 were ok also the 6 it was the rest I could work out what they were doing the same principle didnt seem to work for them .

Hello,

Below, clock face that I have improved and hour hands in 2 versions : arabic and roman numeral suivant Lab 01-2020.

And hour hand made with tool pen and brush ornament. All published on 7 January on What are you working on (in Jan 2020).

ERRATA : There was an error on my previous message. Here, the corrected version.

Trish, I found the trick. Once the numbers are done, do it like this:

1 horizontal mirror as Carole recommends

2 select the numbers 4-5-6-7-8 and turn the selection into a layer

3 remove the digits 4-5-6-7-8 on the horizontal mirror layer and then make vertical mirror (this layer is the base)

4 layer the numbers 4-5-6-7-8 and turn the selection into a layer for each digit

5 on each layer make image flip horizontal

6 When finished, merge layers

7 copy this layer on a layer 2400x2400

8 distortion effects polar coordinates

That’s it, it’s magic despite a little work upstream!!

Sometimes, when I choose a tutorial, I wonder if the members are going to find some use for it. I am always surprised! I guess this clock one was quite popular! And the lace!

Annie, your clock is very realistic and I like it very much, the background too. Moreover, you have surpassed us in terms of the positioning of the numbers relative to ours. The hand clock are very well done.

Thank you very much Mireille! It has been a lot of fun playing around with these tuts and I must say that you have inspired me with your ornamental clock hands so I am off to play again! <3
