Cassel Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 https://scrapbookcampus.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/WordChallenge.jpg Here is the next Word challenge for you. In March the word will be TIRED. I guess I wanted to offer a word that could be used in different ways. I know I am TIRED of winter, but you can be tired of many other things, whether it has to do with the environment, the people around you, the news, etc. I am sure there are things you are tired of, but you can also have people being sleepy tired. What does that word make you think of? Even if your project does not have the word per say, the picture might say it all. Are you up to the challenge? Post your projects in this thread (it can be older projects you did or recent ones; it does not matter) or, if you want, our PSP Scrapbook Showcase pinboard on Pinterest is always there to showcase what is being shared in the Campus (if you need an invite, let me know). Or you can post it in our Facebook group.
Cassel Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 I'll take this opportunity to share one of my pages. This is another page from my alphabet album, done for my mom. It was not easy coming up with a Z page, especially in French, using the photos I had of my kids!
Annie Tobin Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Hi Everyone. I wanted to make one quickly for this challenge so I used a lovely, simple, single photo layout template by Marisa Lerin from PixelScrappers. The photo was by brytny-com-617735 from Unsplash. Thanks for takin a peek!
Annie Tobin Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Hi Everyone. I found time to create another for the word challenge. The photo is from Unsplash and was taken by Zach Vessels. This is the first time I have successfully created cursive writing using a string tube, phew! Thanks for takin a peek.
Royanne Hewko Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 My daughter and granddaughter were really tired. I matched the background paper to the sheets on the bed. Added a small bevel edge to black frames. I erased the wall on the picture to the headboard. Had the clipart of Sleeping Beauty Flora, Fuana and Merryweather. Added some stars with a glow/white shadow.
shutterpixi Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Great work, all! Well done! Royanne, the stars with the white shadow/glow just sets the picture off!
AprilDawn Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Cassel, Annie and Royanne .. your pages are lovely! Dawn.
Annie Tobin Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Cristina, shutterpixi and Dawn, thank you for your kind comments. Royanne, lovely job, so very cute.
Annie Tobin Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Hello Scrapbook Campers. Here is another for the "tired" word challenge. I used a cute photo of a koala. It was taken by Cris Sauer from Unsplash. The kit used was Ginger Scraps "G'Day Mate". The background paper was created by myself, and I used a layout template by Marisa Lerin. Thanks for takin a peek.
AprilDawn Posted March 17, 2019 Posted March 17, 2019 Annie our Koalas are so cute .... love your page ! best wishes, Dawn.
Annie Tobin Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Thanks Dawn. I agree, our koalas are so cute which is why I just had to make use of this pic, LOL! <3
Annie Tobin Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Hello Campus Friends. Another one for the "Tired" word challenge. The photo is another from Unsplash and was taken by Kevin Grieve. Thanks for takin a peek.
Michele Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Annie, who doesn't love a koala? The leaf background is perfect. And I sure hope nobody catches me in the middle of a yawn. lol ~ Michele
AprilDawn Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 terrific page Annie... the yawn title and text is a great match for the photo. all the best, Dawn.
Cristina Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Annie, both layouts are lovely... You always have perfect photos to match the theme. And what a cutie this koala! About the second one, I love the colors and the way you arranged the photo around the title... Is this the linoleum pattern? It looks amazing. Great work!
Annie Tobin Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Thanks Michele, and ditto on the yawn, not the best look, lol!
Annie Tobin Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Thanks dear Cristina, your comments are always so uplifting! You are right, that is the linoleum pattern, it is one of the patterns I particularly like.
Annie Tobin Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 Thanks dear Dawn, you are lovely and kind and, it is much appreciated. <3
Annie Tobin Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Hello Scrapbook Campers. This will be my last one for the "tired" challenge. The photo is a freebie from Pexels. Thanks for takin a peek.
Cristina Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Annie, very nice layout. I like the background paper, and it looks like the "text overlay 2". I also like the photo corners, the alpha... There are so many techniques in this layout. Great work, my friend!
Annie Tobin Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 Thanks so much again dear Cristina. It was one of those pages where bits just fell together, lol! So glad you liked it, my friend. <3
AprilDawn Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Annie, another terrific page ! you have a wonderful talent in creating pages for these challenges.. and a good eye for choosing a photo to represent the title. Dawn.
