Help. The vertical toolbar on the left in my PSP2023 has detached and I can't recall how to get it to dock to the top.

Did you try double-clicking on it?

Thank you! Just followed your suggestion and it is now docked but horizontally, under the top toolbar. How do I get it to be vertical, on the left side?

You are talking about the Tools toolbar, correct?

For me, it would grab the toolbar, move it close to the top corner and double-click at that point, like telling it to go to the corner!

Maybe for you, you can drag it to the middle of the left side before double-clicking?

Thanks, Carole. After a bit of fumbling around I got it where I wanted it. Hooray! I have no idea why it moved in the first place. 😞

When something like that happens to me, I just reload my saved workspace after saving/closing anything I've been working on.

That is my tried and tested manner to resolve such things as well!

And this is a good example of how important it is to save your own customized workspace!

Maybe we can set a reminder every 6 months, in case one tweaks their workspace over time.

The first thing I do if I make a change to my toolbar or workspace is save it. That was something I learned to do a long time ago!

Thank you for the reminder. I just saved this workspace. The last one I saved was back in August and I know I made some changes since.

The above leads me to the question if it is possible to set your workspace in Affinity?

Yes you can. Window > Studio > Add Preset.
