January SKETCH challenge (2025)

Here's my take on this sketch, I swapped out one of the photo slots for the title and used all 3 areas on the left for bits of paper information. The first an exerpt from the Nuremberg Principles. The second my pre-preparessd statement which I read into the record after being arrested. The third an excerpt from my charge sheet.

If anyone is interested I was found guilty of criminal damage, given a conditional discharge and had to pay court costs. It was the only time that protesting ever got me a criminal record. The first photo I am on the right tying on a banner before entering the base. The second photo my daughter can be seen on the left tying on her banner and my back can be seen as a black shape going through the fence to enter the base. The third picture is a photo I took of a sketch I made of the cell I was held in for 12 hours before being released on bail.

The background phot is actually a rare photo of the mushroom cloud over Nagasaki after the bomb was dropped.
