Cassel Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 This month, the theme might not be as obvious as for others, but I am sure you have had stories about money, like how much the tooth fairy left you, your first paid job, your allowance (or the allowance you gave your children). Maybe you won money playing Bingo, or the lottery, or in other raffles. Add stories to those photos but you know that you can also tell stories without photos! Let's go!
cindy harris Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 My first real job was KFC I believe I made 2.00 a hour
Susan Ewart Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 I had a recurring dream for a couple years about money. Loonies (Canadian 1 dollar coin) specifically. I would find a big pile of them and I'd bend down to pick them up and once I'd have all of them, one would fall out of the pile I was holding in my hands. So I would bend down to pick up the one and several more would fall. This cycle would continue, pick up one that fell, drop more, pick up, drop, pick up and so on. I could never pick up the whole pile up. And they were huge, like 3-4 inches in diameter and location was always different but the money was the same. It must speak to my possible need to "have it all" or not being satisfied with what I had. Thankfully that was only a short period in my life. disturbing.
Ann Seeber Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Here, Susan, now you can make a scrap page with your dream. You may find it "therapeutic." ;-)
Ann Seeber Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Here's my Money scrap page - MY FIRST JOB. All photos "found on Google" and layout based on the July Sketch Challenge.
Cassel Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 Ann, I love how your layout is more about the story than the photos. This is a great continuation of the Story Time Workshop!!!
Susan Ewart Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Hahahaha, Ann. Maybe I should. Clearly I still have issue's with losing money.
Ann Seeber Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Using one of Cassel's Money Bills, here's one I did for my turtle-loving daughter, Laurey. It's her birthday next week. I used the font Algerian which was close to what Carole supplied.
Lynda DiGregor Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I posted this in the September What are you Working on but I figured I should put it on the Money Theme Challenge too. Just because I like my dog ;-)
