Cassel Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 https://scrapbookcampus.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Theme-Snow.png In February, our monthly theme is SNOW. Let’s play our monthly alphabet game. Let’s find words that are related to snow, snowing and snow activities, etc. I think it should be easy enough with all the activities surrounding snow. Who will start?
Dianne Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Ugh, I live in snowless southern California. Never had snow in my childhood. Bigger challenge then you think. A = Alps where snow Angels may appear, perhaps?
Sheila Hogg Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 C = COLD, COLD, COLD. Brrrrrrrrrr.............
Sue Thomas Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 E= eggnog. Home made of course, to warm the cockles of your heart on a snowy winter's day. Thank you Cassel for the quick page, it's prefect for the photo I took early on Wednesday morning en route to the city. The snow covered stone, is my own element, and then I used the engraving tutorial from the creative scrap to add the date. I see normality is slowly returning to NB.
Cassel Posted February 4, 2017 Author Posted February 4, 2017 F = Frozen I guess i can showcase a picture i took yesterday, on my first day back to work 10 days after the storm. As you can see, the ice is still clinging to the branches. This tree is NOT a willow: the branches are supposed to be UP.
Michele Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 N ~ Nor'easter ~ not looking forward to another one of those!
Sheila Hogg Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 O=Overcast skies when you know something is going to fall.
Marlene Lingham Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Q=Quiet, the way thick snow deadens all sound.
Sheila Hogg Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 U= Unending storms, cold and bad weather.
Cassel Posted February 18, 2017 Author Posted February 18, 2017 R = Removal... what we want to do with the snow!
Dianne Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 s = ski, snowboard (yes, and snow). Too easy.
Sheila Hogg Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 T= Thaw and hopefully a quick one for Cassel and anybody else marooned by snow.
Dianne Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Sheila already did "U" for us (above, which I appreciate, because personally "u" was hard), so we can skip to V now. V = virga, which is rain or snow that falls from a cloud but evaporates before it touches the ground,.
Sheila Hogg Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Ooops. I thought I already did U, went a bit wrong when running the alphabet through my brain but i have been poorly....
Dianne Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 It's okay...we've all had to do u-turns now and again. Hope you feel better soon.
