Cassel, yes I did use the guides and snap to guide. It makes it so much easier adding objects in a straight line. My squares were different coloured papers but it made my layout too busy. I will use the ruler technique for sure. Previously to these classes, i used the Grid as my guide and eyeballed the spacing. This works better.
Ann, I can see your layout just fine. Love the elements you used and that clip is perfect. I love birds so i’m biased 🙂 ♥
Gorgeous page Randy. Love the photos and colourful layout. Your granddaughters will enjoy this project of yours.
Last day and I had to make one more project for my grandson Wyatt. He will be 2 yrs old next month.
I use all the shortcuts, Cnt C & Cnt L, Cnt Y is a favorite. I made little blocks from squares but it was bit much for this layout so I omitted them. I should have layered my background papers but couldnt as one set was merged. I duplicated my merged papers and flipped them horizontally to make both sides the same. I changed up my dropshadow settings only because I dont like a heavy setting. I ran out of time doing this piece but I will continue to tweak it in time for his birthday. I appreciate all the tutorials in this bootcamp. Thank you for having me. I learned a lot and even tried some tutorials outside of bootcamp like using the magic fill. I highly recommend this class. I love seeing everyone’s layout. It’s inspiring and we learn from each other that way. ♥ Wendy ♥
P.S. i forgot to mention, I used the eraser tool on the edging of my red gingham paper. its a mosaic tile that i rotate d 45 degrees and it make the pretty edging. i was quite pleased as it looks like lace. I didnt do the journaling but I will when I have more time. I added a border to the picture but instead of flood filling the same layer selected, I added a new layer and then filled colour, then added a bevel and dropshadow to the red circle frame. I like using that technique for other psp projects.
Cassel, the Christmas Holidays is the Word Art. Its from the Christmas kit freebie provided beneath the tutorial video. I did an identifont run to find the name of the WA but none were a match.
Fran, I googled system requirements for Corel psp 2021. I have the same version of PSP.
Looks like you meet the requirements. Did you shut down PSP? restart it? I like to do a cache clean at least once a week if i’m using PSP daily.
File > preferences > reset preferences > check both reset general preferences and clear cache. click OK.
I then go back to File > Preferences > general program preferences and uncheck enable auto preserve.
You can try that for starters.
I’m loving everyone’s Busy Bee layouts. All so unique and pleasing to the eye. I hope everyone continues with scrapbooking.
Jose, I love your butterfly scrap page. The photos are beautiful. The layout compliments the photos perfectly in my opinion. This is so much fun, isn’t it? I especially love your layout with the photo in three sections.
Cindy, your Bruce is hilarious in the photo. You got a laugh from me. 🙂
Anita, oh my gosh your garden photos are beautiful. The colours you used in your layout make the photos stand-out.
Peter, I love that photo and the wording is brilliant. A challenging climb for sure.
wow Ron, I now want to go to Mardi Gras. The layout makes it so appealing. Love it.
Ann, Sonya is so precious in those photos. She will love seeing this when she is older. A beautiful keepsake.
Day 11: Concentration
This is my fur baby Zoe, a rescue dog we adopted at 10 months old. She is now 10 years old and still full of life like she was as a puppy. Her groomer gave her the bandana as a Xmas gift. The Christmas kit I used came with wordart. I played with layering the bottom papers and I rather like how it looks. I was not happy with my last scrap page. This one is far more pleasing to me.
Great job everyone!
Project 4 – Busy Bees
Ooohhhh Ann, I snagged your plaid. thank you. I love making plaids too. Love your layout.
I think everyone is doing fantastic. I should start making my own papers like Paul. I think that’s brilliant.

My apologies for missing yesterday. Here is my version of New Kid on the Block:
The kit in the tutorial was no longer free so I used a different free kit.
Love how it turned out even though my psp crashed as I was saving it.
Good tip: is to Save your work as you go!
A little about me, i’ve been PSPing for many years so I did at little more with my sandwich. I got hungry …
Makes sense now. thank you.
