Didn’t follow the example very closely. Started and then the project took off on it’s own. This baby will be my 4th Great Grand and my 2nd Great Grand daughter. The theme for the nursey is under the sea in Teal and purple.
Day 9 project 4: I sold all my girls last year in July soon after my husband entered Hospice. I miss their antics but it was too much work on top of everything else.
I used a photo I took for the background with 52 % opacity. I used the kit that Carole suggested for the other elements. Couldn’t get my zig zag edge to work so skipped it.
It’s funny the little tips and tricks that you forget!
I forgot my shadows!
I am enjoying all the beautiful layouts! So many great ideas!!
Carole, I am healing but it is so hard to get comfortable! PT starts in earnest on Monday so my pain will increase. Just think, I still have the other knee to replace as well! Thankful I am living with my daughter for now!!
Day 7 project 3: A friend of mine raises a small herd of highland cattle. The herd shots are from a couple of years ago and the middle shot with the calf is the start of this year’s increase. They are marvelous creatures!!
Another lesson, my newest Great Grand. I have my 4th due in September!
I am jumping in a bit late. I have been using PSP since 2009, but the last year has been pretty rough and then Tuesday the 12th, I had a total replacement on my right knee. Still in a fair bit of pain but wanted to get started and refresh my brain!
I live in Ontario, Oregon. Our house is about 2 miles from the Snake River which is the border between Oregon and Idaho.
Eastern Oregon, only 5 miles from the Idaho border (Ontario, Oregon)
Such wonderful layouts! You are all so talented!
I do appreciate you all. I tend to dash on and off pretty fast, so I may not comment much.

The last day of our “Challenge” The parts for my snowlady came to us each day after we finished that day’s challenge.
@Annie Tobin
I was actually referring to the image name, as you wouldn’t want a signature on all the pieces you construct. I am trying to be more consistent about right clicking and inserting image info. Since I don’t keep kits together, it can get frustrating crediting people for their work and I really want to!
You’ve done some wonderful work!
Teri Cleaveland
Annie Tobin, nice work!! Might I suggest that you add your name or initials, something to your work. You might share this or something in the future and we should be able to give you credit for your work.
I have been trying to get credit with the layoffs I am doing in a community, and I’m finding it very difficult.
Another layout for The Studio Community LAD. Our two weeks is almost up.
Thanks Ann Tobin, I appreciate it. I tend to binge on things. I need to spend time on my genealogy before summer comes so will probably cut way back on my PSP time 🙁
I joined in on a Layout a day with the Digital Studio Community and I have been having fun. Still using the 2019 version although I purchased 2020. The two that look more like pictures, are composites. The FB cover photos are not part of the community layouts.

Still have two to go. Herd is up to 10 at the moment. Two 4 year olds, two 2 year olds, two yearlings and 4 newborns. I sell the babies and it pays for the hay.
Final layout: I added texture to the matt behind the picture and the doily as well as all my shadows
Day 7: had some issues learning the tools and moving the nodes, but finally got it. This has been a lot of fun!!
Day 6: I just used a simple pinking shears edging on the background mat.
Day 5:
I tried to duplicate the design in the paper as much as I could. I also tried to “match” the doily color to my palette.
Day 4:
With my short memory, I had to set up each of the letters at the same time and with each step, I’d listen to the instructions and then I went in and did that step to each letter.
I don’t like the little Tucker tag. Could get the paint right on itDay 3
I decided to add another picture of Tucker. I used the Luminance (Legacy) when I applied his picture. Not quite happy but it is what it is!
I am having a lot of fun with the lessons!!
Day 2
I love all the unique patterns you have all come up with. I need to practice so much more. Wish I ended up with more nodes to manipulate with!
I love my wooden frame! It fits my grandson so well, the paper is more elegant which fits Kassidy! Little Tucker just doesn’t care!!
I’ve not arranged anything yet and probably won’t until I know what all I will be using for the layout!
Teri
Dennis, Dawn, Sharon, Michele and Christina, I so enjoyed your layouts! I don’t have a lot of imagination of my own, but I can look at other’s work and a light bulb goes on! I might take the idea in a new direction, but I almost always need a jump start!
For my layout, I took an old picture of my older sister and I and tinted it. I found it pretty difficult as I use a mouse! With a black and white, the selection tools need a lot of help! I wanted a navy blue dotted swiss paper so I used a transparent dotted paper I got from someone (I wish everyone would put ther ID in the name!) and layered that onto a solid navy layer. I started with a flower cluster but added the camomile flowers for fullness, also a few more pink dots. Then I dated it using the technique we learned from Carole’s Date It class yesterday. I just used dots instead of a solid line to go with the paper and the dresses. Fun!!
Dawn, Annie, Michele, AprilDawn and Marlene great job ladies!!
Annie, I was especially taken by how great the string art worked with your owl.
As you can see here, our great grandson arrived! I got the theme for the layout from Tucker’s bedroom.
David, I think we are all learning, all the time! Nicely done, by the way.
I love looking at all of the creative and imaginative layouts!!
Teri
Day 7 – I used all sorts of things on this layout. Elements/papers are from two kits: Underwater and Under the Sea. I used a slippery wet candy paper for the title and a soap bubbles paper for the background.
This has been a lot of fun and I just adore all of the creativity shown! Great job all!!
Teri
Day 6: Another couple of pictures from our trip to Washington with the grandkids. I mostly used elements from that freebie kit that Carole told us about. I did add the bit of glitter from my stash. I used one of the papers for my title and instead of pinking shears, I wanted my edges to look more wave-like. I didn’t know about the easy way to add a frame, so that was new to me. There was something else new, but I’ve forgotten it already so I’ll have to watch the video again!!
Here’s a couple more pictures from our 2012 trip with the grandkids to Washington.
Such a fun time and great memories. A little bit of everything in this layout
It’s so fun to see what everyone comes up with when we get the same “instructions”
