Nicely done Annie! All the photos look like they should be in a real gallery. I looked through the tutorial but I haven’t tried it yet.
Trish, I love your funky bows! You’ve got some wild ones there!
Another WOW Michele!!! I just adore your inviting home!!
Yeah Superfan Annie!! I love your Scavenger Hunt creation. That looks like such a beautiful place to visit.
I managed to cobble together an ecclectic sort of image. I think I got all the items stuck in it somewhere.
Michele, I love what you did with the art gallery! It’s so colorful and inviting. It looks like a fantastic place to spend the day at.
Annie, I can definitely see that you are a Superfan! I simply love your Title Work. You are such an inspiration!
I’m still tackling The Lab tutorials. I learned how to create a Sand brush and how to use it too. I threw in Uneven Lines, Notebook Edge, Phrase strips, Polaroid and for good measure some items from a Blog Train I found by accident. I’m striving for Superfan status myself!
I had lots of fun creating today’s post! It’s fun to just play around sometimes. Thank you Carole, for the pizza. I love it, but now I’m hungry. The paper I used was created from the Summer Punches set that I purchased a few weeks ago. Those are a lot of fun to play with too!
I finally got around to playing with my drawing tablet. I managed to create a flower that I kind of liked. I don’t care much for my amateurish work, but they say practice makes perfect so I’ll keep trying. I also included a paper of colored bricks that I constructed from Lab 9 Module 5. I also had to throw in some elements from Pixelscrapper’s July Good Life Bundle. I just love their work!
Micfin!!! I love your stained glass flowers!! That’s amazing!!
Fantastic work Annie! You really are an inspiration to me. All of your posts are so varied in style. It’s always such a pleasure to see what you’ve uploaded! Please try to stay warm. I didn’t realize it was Winter there!
Lynda has the right idea about camping! Roughing it in style. I love it. I have a tent in storage but I don’t think I’ll be using it anytime soon. I’m doing digital camping now! Thanks to Carole, I now have a cozy fire.
Outstanding work on the Ribbon Loop Annie!
Thank you Annie! I had to include grandchildren of course. I love your version of the abstract pattern! Yours looks better than mine did. I did have a lot of fun creating it. They remind me of stained glass windows.
I’ve been going through Lab 9 Module 2 and I was amazed when I learned how to create a plastic pocket. I can see lots of possibilities with multi photo pockets. What a nifty idea!!
I did some checking around about the slideshow presentation. Evidently I should be able to create one with Google Slides. It said I could then post it to Facebook. I just have to figure out how to work with their templates. I’ll explore it some more when I can chisel out some time to learn how to do it.
I went back and changed all my pages so they would have the same background. I was quite happy with it at that point. Then I realized that I have the wrong date on all of them. We did have flooding in 2017, but the photos I used were from 2009. Oops! I’ll have to fix that.
Is there a way to set these as some kind of slideshow presentation that can be uploaded? I’m dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to anything to do with web presentations. I come from a printing background so I’m a newbie at advanced graphics.
I finally received the pen tablet that I ordered. I ended up with the XP-Pen Star 03. I’ve got it up and running and it works with Paint Shop Pro and Painter Essentials as well. Now if I can figure out how to work with it, I’ll be doing well. Many years ago (before computers came along) I dabbled at traditional drawing so I have a little training. My biggest issue right now is coordinating with the mouse and pen. I am so addicted to the mouse!!!! That’s also why I hate the touchscreen option. I can’t stand the dirty screen so all I do clean it over and over again LOL!
I welcome any advice anyone can give! Any tips would be appreciated.
I have really enjoyed this Challenge! This was exactly the training that I needed in order to move forward. I can’t wait to see what the next one will be. Thank you again Carole!
Here’s my Day 7 template creation.
This definitely has been a most helpful challenge for me! I learned so much about working with templates and photos. I just wanted to add my Thank You to Carole as well!
Here’s my Day 6 creation.
Patti – The little lock icon is at the top of the Layers Palette. Carole pointed it out in one of the tutorials I watched. I didn’t even know it was there before she demonstrated the cleverness of locking the transparency.
Here’s my Day 5 project. I’m getting much more comfortable with working with templates. They are a really wonderful starting point.
I am really enjoying this challenge! Most of my photos are horizontal and it’s been fun creatively cropping them to focus on a particular section. I also wanted to see what it would look like as a center spread by combining both pages into one document. I see why the rectangle was there, it makes it easier to align them. I’m looking forward to Day 5!
Awww how sweet they are! I love the little ear sticking outside the photo!
My project seems to be evolving as I work. I’ll probably end up changing all my pages in the end. I haven’t decided about the cover yet. I’m saving that for the last. Here’s my Day 3 project.
I used the new color on a summer brush set that I purchased from Cassel. It’s an awesome color and I even figured out how to add it to my palette!
Hello fellow Scrapper’s! You guys are really sharing some wonderful magazines with us. I’m enjoying all these FREE magazines. It’s my way of traveling!
I’ve finally learned how to work with a single photo template now but I run into trouble with the multiple photo templates. I think I need lots more practice. Day 2 went a lot more smoothly with me. I did manage to create a fade out type mask on today’s photo!
Here’s my Day 1 adventure. I really am struggling with working with templates. Something in my brain just can’t grasp the concept I guess. This is definitely the challenge I needed!
Hello everyone! Sorry to have been absent for so long. I volunteered to help with Vacation Bible School this past week. That was truly an adventure! I tried to learn more PSP techniques but it was very scattered about. I did a compilation of some of the tutorials. It’s just a little look at my world. Needless to say, the dog, Bear, gets the most attention LOL!
Thank you Libera for the link to the smear tool usage! I was trying to use it incorrectly. I’m definitely going to have to explore it more in the future.
The Reflection tutorial is in the Creative Scrapbooking intermediate tutorials. It’s a very interesting one!! There are lots of fantastic tutorials there. I’m trying to work my way through all of them.
I’ve been trying to go through more of the Labs and Tutorials. Here is my results of Lab 9 Module 3 with a few elements from from other tutorials. Meli-Melo paper, Paper Fan, Shaped Text and some lace from Cassel!
I finally got a break from yardwork and got back to the tutorials. I tried my hand at the Reflection tutorial this time. I learned so much from this one. Thank you again Carole for all these valuable tutorials!
Trish your work is fantastic! You are so creative!
