Thank you Carole for your suggestion about changing the type color. I changed it to white and it looks much better now. I plan on eventually creating a scrapbook for Jimi and I will get prints done full sized. Shrinking pages down really makes them hard to read!
I went very simplistic with my Module 5 page. Due to circumstances surrounding this virus nightmare, I’m pretty weary right now. On the plus side, my PSP 2020 seems to be working much better now. Maybe I can participate in the webinars again. I had lost the ability to join them. I think that was a Chrome issue. Anyway, everybody try not to go stir crazy like me!
Here is the result of Module 3 that I skipped! My Grandson’s picture was on the front page of our local paper. I did put a photo credit on this one because I didn’t take the photo myself. I’m still working on Module 5 and I hope to post it by this evening.
I’m with you Lynda, everyone has such fantastic work! I’ve been sidetracked with a leaky roof as well as this virus nightmare. And now I hear several stores are closing indefinitely. They are home schooling the children here and most churches are internet only. Thank goodness we still have internet to connect with other people. I hope everyone is staying safe. I will definitely keep everyone in my prayers.
I finally managed to pull together a page for module 4. Then I realized I had skipped module 3! I know what I’m going to do for module 5 already, but I’m going to go back and do module 3 first. I do apologize for being so scatterbrained. I have an excuse. I’m old!
WOW! Everyone has such phenomenal creations! Ya’ll are such an inspiration to me.
Congratulations to Carole!!! Welcome to The Grandma Club. Now you have an endless supply for scrapbooking!
I pulled together Day 5’s project yesterday. Of course it is of my Grandchildren, Bella and Jimi. Jimi turned 9 on February 14 and he had a Bowling Party. That’s the first time I’ve in a bowling alley since my son was little. It hasn’t changed much but I think these modern children need bowling lessons. They were throwing the ball instead of gracefully rolling it. I don’t see how the floor holds up!
I finally won the battle of extracting my photos from my camera and phone! My computer doesn’t play well with others. I need a tutorial on how to operate all of it. I’ve been saving these wonderful wood alphas since last year. Thank you Carole for sharing them with us!
Here’s my Day 3 adventure!
Oh my! I really have forgotten how to use PSP! I desperately need this refresher course. I had to contemplate on that for quite a while. It’s all coming back to me slowly. Thank goodness there is a place where I can relearn all of it!
Hello to all my fellow scrapbookers! I’m back for another refresher course and I really need it. I’ve been distracted by so many things in the real world. I basically gave up the computer for a short time. I did spend several weeks helping my Daddy go through photos and cards he had stuck in the closet. We have them all in real scrapbooks now. At least I have plenty to work with when I continue digital scrapbooking!
Larry I would definitely be afraid to ask for candy at your extremely haunted house! Wonderful work!
Trish I think I’m going to stick with your cakes from now on. Mine was way too sweet for me.
Annie I just have to tell you, that is a very moist cake. I was surprised. If you do make it, be sure to watch it under the broiler. It will burn quickly!
Annie I just love your Halloween pages! They really show how much fun you’re having. I’m going to a Fall Festival at my church this evening and I promised to bake a cake for a cake walk game that they’re having. I decided to scrapbook the recipe so I could print it out to go with the cake. I’m going to post it here as a kind of recipe swap to Cristina or anyone else that wants the recipe. BEWARE! It is loaded with sugar! Eat at your own risk. The oatmeal makes it heart healthy so I guess a small piece won’t do too much damage. The acorns and leaves are from Brusheezy.
Annie you are a delight! I love your Halloween pages. You have really gone all out with spookiness. I certainly wouldn’t want to meet up with your Jack O lantern after dark.
Thank you for the recipe Cristina! I think your recipe template is wonderful. It’s such a good idea!
I love your Pickleball pages Bonnie! I think Pickleball should be added to the Olympics. I can’t wait to see more about it!
Marjorie welcome to the Campus! It’s a great place to hang out and to learn so much. It looks like you’ve already caught the digital scrapping bug. I can’t wait to see what you create next.
Cristina, I’m going to confess right now! When you post your recipes in English I’ll probably be the first to grab them! I’m an avid recipe collector. I’m not sure if I have more recipes than fonts but it’s a close race!
I’ve been tied up with what should have been a simple project, but my lack of PSP skills kept getting in the way. I finally decided to leave it alone and ask for a tutorial or suggestions. I can’t definitely tell you all how NOT to build a birdhouse in Paint Shop Pro LOL!
Trish you are hilarious! I love the pumpkin butt one! You are really getting into Halloween and making it fun and topping it all off with delicious cake. Thank you!
Lynda you have definitely pulled two lovely pages. I especially love the memorial one. It was truly from the heart!
I wanted to thank Bonnie for giving us a new category, PHD! And a thank you also to Michele for the PNS category as well.
I finally pulled together another PHD after watching the Creating a digital Scrapbook webinar. I learned several new things and I just wanted to thank Carole for making the tutorial. I used Carole’s Butterflies and the tutorial called Photo Clip.
It is always the high light of my day when I finally get to sit down and look around the Campus. You guys are all so talented and I just adore seeing all the fantastic work you all are sharing. I still struggle a lot with some of the things in PSP but it gets easier each time I try something new. Right now I’m trying to go back and complete several creations that I had only half finished. I’m going to finally upload the Spooky 1 image that I had forgotten about. I was saving it for Halloween but I started it about 2 months ago. Better late than never I guess!
Dawn, thank you for the lovely comment! I must say I really love your vintage card. It’s like traveling back in time to see how things used to be.
Fantastic creations Sue! The gold embellishments really make them stand out. Advent calendars are such a treasure to the little ones. I know they’re going to love yours!
Michele I love your Halloween Theme Park! I know the kids will love it too. I also love what you create with the punches. They’re just fantastic.
Hello to Trish! Now I know what you look like. I don’t have a photo of myself. I’m afraid to ask anyone to take a picture because I’m afraid I’ll break their camera. I love your cakes especially the one with the flowers. They’re just beautiful!
Cristina your snowy adventure looks like a lot of fun! Outstanding work on the Lab modules!
Annie I also wanted to say hello to you! Is your computer behaving now? I know at one time you were having issues with it. I hope everything is okay!
I quickly put together an experiement of sorts. I attended the webinar today and I wanted to do as much as I could remember before I forget it all. I chose the easier one because I’ll have to wait on the notebook to muddle through the other one. I used a photo from Unsplash and I really didn’t want to change it because I love just like it is. I hope the poor girl doesn’t mind me making her a witch. I threw a gradient trial I’ve been working on for several days. I hope ya’ll don’t look at it too critically. I need a big learning curve!
I’ve been working on various tutorials. Some for the second and third time! I get a little better every time I go through them so that’s a big plus. I really liked the Circle Text tutorial. It’s a good one to develop skills from. I also made a coffee stain and some cardboard! I’m learning how to destroy what I create now (Just Kidding). The cardboard tutorial is a fantastic tutorial too! Thank you Carole!!
Bonnie, your tribute to basketball team is fantastic! Congratulations to all of you!!! I love how you placed the photo inside the state of Florida.
Dear Annie! You are such a delight! I absolutely love the edges you have created. I’m so happy to see that your computer was rescued.
I haven’t had much time this past week for graphics. Real world interferes like that sometimes. I did manage to create a manila folder and I’m happy about that. So here’s my tribute to the Manila folder!
Trish your texture work is impressive! The grunge one is especially good.
I’ve worked through another challenging tutorial in the Intermediate Classes. I got to learn some new tricks with PSP going through it. It’s called Zipper! I never realized that I could create a zipper at all. Thank you again Carole for sharing the tutorial with us!
Oh my goodness! You guys have really been on the creative train. I am just amazed every time I look at your creations. I got sidetracked with the Challenge and I got behind on everything else. I’m so sorry I haven’t commented sooner. You are all such an inspiration!
I did manage to create one quick image with items from Pixelscrappers. I just love their work and I should use it more often.
Shirley I love your Mr. Fred!! He’s adorable. Those flowers are gorgeous too! Nicely done!
Oh my Lynda! I would definitely leave the camera on those settings. Those are fantastic captures!
Wow Shirley! It’s beautiful where you live. You did a fantastic job on your layout. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your creations!
Shutterpixi those are such sweet images! I can tell you had a lifetime of fun with those two. They sure do take over your heart when you’re not looking. A lovely devotion for both of them!
I finally managed to cobble together my last two pages. YAY!! Of course I had to throw grandchildren into the pages. I’m kind of partial to them and the photograper (their father, my son) said I could use the photos. He took about a million photos and I had to sort through them all. That’s what took so long. Anyway, here’s my grand finale.
Oh my Annie! I hope the tech doctor can get you fixed up quickly. A sick computer is a pain to deal with. I learned that through experience so my heart goes out to you!!
Lynda you’re not that much behind. You have definitely made up for it. I never realized that there were so many tours around the great lakes. That’s fascinating! I also love the wild and colorful Las Vegas one too. My family went there once and I got a lousy T-Shirt to remind me that I had to work while they were vacationing LOL! I’m behind too, but I think Carole said the challenge will stay open until we all get caught up.
I finally managed to pull together Day 05 of the Challenge! I had all these photos left over from Day 04 so I wanted to use them too. My biggest problem is knowing when to end a project LOL! I keep moving stuff around and tweaking until I get tired of looking at it. Then, like magic, I have another page. Maybe we could get a tutorial on how to end a project?
Alicia you are really posting some fantastic work! I love the butterflies. They are so beautiful! I’m not as far along as you but I’m hanging in there. I scrounged up some more photos to work with. I can’t wait for it to be cooler weather so I can go capture some new photos. Right now there are too many ticks, mosquitoes, skunks and snakes for me! Here’s my Day 04 presentation.
I’m slowly catching up. I managed to make a cohesive image out of several pictures I borrowed from my son. They went on a hiking excursion at a new hiking park that opened a while back. I think they visited it about a year ago if I remember it right. The view looks incredible in the photos. It’s definitely on my bucket list of things to do. I hope you enjoy the little slice of life around here.
Outstanding work Sue!!! From the panorama to the individual birds your talent really shines through!
Alicia I love your Marine Park pages! You have really captured some great photos. It is so amazing how smart the animals are. I know you really enjoyed that vacation!
I finally started getting the emails starting with Day 03. I played around and created Day 01 and Day 02. They may not exactly follow the examples but I was getting behind and I wanted to catch up to everyone else. I chose a colorful subject for my pages. All the photos are from Unsplash. Their photos are simply wonderful I think. I certainly can’t take photos like that. I hope ya’ll enjoy Mr. Colorful!
