A birthday ecard for a family member. This year’s fox cub. The dandelion seeds are a brush. I saw this graphic quote on creative fabrica this morning. Instead of downloading it to use the png file, I created my own using not quite so heavy fonts. The butterflies and hearts are also fonts, taking their colours from the photo. Thin white border. I often lay in wait on the ground for mammals, insects and birds, this time after what seemed like hours, I got my shots, and came back with 3 ticks on me. Straight away I got into the shower. lol

Thank you so much Cristina. Although the photos of the cub were taken close up, I cropped him/her, to use only the head, I tried out the AI resize, which is new in 2021. I was pleasantly surprised at the result. My photo is 6.5MB. I don’t know if it would increase the size of a much smaller file as well. I do have, but don’t use it very often, Photo Zoom 7, which allows me to increase the size of a file with lots more tools to edit.
Bonnie, you always create such incredible energetic pages. Great work!
Lynda, I love the colour scheme you used on your word art, it’s great.

Thank you Annie. You did a tremendous job on the lab page. It makes me want to load up my kayak and head for the water. Well done my friend.
Meet one of my new friends, one of this year’s Jack Rabbit youngsters. He/she love the dandelions in the yard, the dandelion disappears in not time. Although they are called rabbits, they are actually hares, like the snowshoe hare they turn white during winter. I have quite a few of them, all ages, and I have called then all Bobtail. Out of the blue this name popped into my head one day. From a watch with mother children’s programme, called Rag, Tag and Bottail. Rag was a mouse, Tag was a hedgehog, and Bobtail was the rabbit. Strange the things we store in our minds. I used to watch ‘Watch with mother when I was a child, the programme ran from 1953-65. Does anyone else remember these programmes? Giving my age away now! A simple frame
It’s been a few day since I was on here, and what beautiful creative pages have posted. I’d like to thank those who have commented on my pages too, it’s always much appreciated my psp friends

Karon, I’m ever so sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter-in -law.

When the cows have calved in early Spring and the calves are strong enough to travel, they are trailed lots of miles by cowboys (like you see in western films. Saskatchewan ranchers are still very western in their ways) over vast areas of open native grasslands to their summer pastures. At that time of year, mid-late spring, the air is filled with the aroma of the Prairie Sage. I could smell it as I was creating this page. I used the frame I created and posted for download on facebook. The background paper is the photo, blurred and lowered the opacity. Negative effect label.
Jamaica.
Annie, I must admit I didn’t have a problem reading the text in the arrows, saying that the revised version is more clear.
Annie, what an outstanding page to pay tribute to your beautiful country. The arrows are a great idea. I love arrows, the eye automatically follows their direction. Like everything about your country the flowers are no different, they are vibrantly colourful. I notice that you used a lilac watercolour brush bleed on the background paper. Perfect, it matches the Orchid. It’s little things like that I notice and love.
Thermometer readings.
I changed the word roses from this to the one you see in the page above. Same font, I just didn’t like the pattern effect in the wordart. I like to keep things plain.
They forecast a hear wave for this week and well into next week. Unfortunately they weren’t wrong! Temps rose (pardon the pun) to 38c this afternoon. To hot for man or beast, so I retreated to an air-conditioned house after lunch. It’s a full time job, keeping the 5 bird baths clean and full, and then I have 3 small bowls dotted a round for the ground squirrels and the hares, when they come out at night. The font for the Roses is Monabelia. Used one of my sunrise photos to fill the word mornings. I have a moderately small collection of fonts, which I really like, and use them over and over in my projects. The words up and to font is called Stories. I’ve had it some time, acquired it when it was a freebie. I see it’s on sale now for $1 in creative fabrica.

My dear, dearest Cristina! Thank you so much for your praise on my work. I remember it well, when you named me Master of WordArt. It was certainly high praise. I was chuffed to bits. I also remember many years ago, that we agreed, that we have very similar styles. I have always and still do admire your work. What can I say, other than, I am going to have to up my game, if I’m to retain the title. LOL I agree Corrie, Anne and Ann have created wonderful WordArt pages. A few words of encouragement and advice goes a long way. I totally agree, and I’ve said it before we are on this site to share knowledge, encourage and inspire one and all. While bonding lasting friendships.
My last May Random WordArt challenge page for this month. It’s only now my apple trees are blossoming, and who should I find picking insects from the blossoms, but this delightful little warbler. To the best of my knowledge I have 2 pairs here. I used a watercolour splatter brush to create the mask. Out of bounds technique on the little bird’s tail. word art. Again, I used the mesh warp tool on the word Warbler. I cheated a little, I used the wordArt quote which I had created for a previous project.
Annie, I love that ink splatter wordart page. It’s a beautiful piece work. To me when I first saw it, I thought awesome, sophisticated graffiti. Well done. Looks like you are enjoying wordArt!
Annie, that is something quite different, certainly whimsical. I love it my friend!
Thank you ever so much Annie. That is one of the reasons why we are all here, to help inspire each other. I love using the text tool, I find creating wordart relaxing. You created a lovely sweet page, in addition, you are very sweet inside too!
And another one!!!! That’s it for now. I used the Mesh warp tool to create the word Nature. Not everyone likes this tool, but once you get used to it, it’s a very useful tool.
Ann, I have the overlapped script. I haven’t used it in ages. It saves a great deal of time, when you have a lot of text to do, like you have in your wordArt. The tape is a great addition to the page. There is a tutorial on how to create your own tape in the creative scrap. I have several which I created years ago. Not to sound picky, but you should turn the 9 upside down, 🙂 as up to 60% of an adult human body is water. Bones are made up of 31% water, the brain is 90% water. Don’t ask me how I know. lol
Susan, thank you ever so much for your kind comment. Although we don’t need to feed the birds at any time of year, we do, for our own enjoyment. They really do give us such pleasure to observe them up close. I record and document every bird, when it arrives and leaves our farm. I take part in bird Atlasing, and submit my records. I’ve done this for as long as I can remember.
Here’s another one. Fonts used: Hugs & Kisses, Manibus and Casual
Thank you ever so much Annie, I really do appreciate your kind words my dear friend. Corrie has come on leaps and bounds with her word art, also she’s working on establishing her own style. I know you are not one for Facebook, but when you get a minute, check out the scrapbook page. I’ve posted some interesting info about insects on Corrie’s nested frame post. I think you may find it interesting, if it doesn’t freak you out first. Lol. We are such a diverse caring group of people on here, yet we can all relate to the marvel of Mother Nature. Enjoy your day my friend.
