Here are two pages using the polka dot frame I created. Initially I created it for the monarch butterfly, to match it’s spots, and used it again for the bingo challenge, quite some time ago. You will find several polka dot tutorials in the creative scrap, one being the multicoloured polka dots tutorial.
Landscaper
Geologist
Bonnie, Carole, Word Tree, Lab 10-12.
Masterclass Paintshop Christmas 4. I see that the Xmas 5 is a popular one. I created several of these snow globes. Some to hang and others to sit on a shelf. I used the warp brush, push tool to shape the five so the globe could sit on it comfortably. Once the template was created, there is no end to different globes that can be created, let the festive imagination run wild! I used Carole’s dimensions script to create the number 5.
Entomologist. Study of insects. ( Bonnie I don’t what CPA is either)
Thank you so much for your kind words Corrie. I have said on numerous occasions in recent years to newbies, don’t panic, we have all been there. Not being a scrapbooker, paper and scissors or digital. It was very much an alien world. Back them I used PSP to create calendars and cards using my photos, and photo editing. I like to think that I now inspire others with my own unique style. I’m pleased to read that you are planning on staying, and one day, a few years down the road you’ll look back, like so many of us have, and realize how far you have come, while establishing your own unique style. Feeling a real sense of achievement, thanks to the campus. Back when I joined, there wasn’t the volume of tutorial videos, there are today. I can understand why some newbies find it a little overwhelming, as there is so much available, to learn.
My dear friend Cristina, those were the days, when we were very green. Now those techniques like adding a paper clip correctly, has now become second nature. I just cringe when I look back on some of my very early projects. Thanks to Carole, I like to think that we have evolved into competent creators of whatever our discipline is when using PSP.
This is an older project I did, following the masterclass, Many Shades of Grey. Where the text was lifted, and stitched. The music notes are one of Carole’s tubes. Other tutorials in the creative scrap are the postage stamp, date stamp, stitched text, and extraction, and text on a path. The grass is a tube, tractor tracks also one of Carole’s tubes on a ploughed field. Looking at this earlier project now, I can see now that I would make several improvements.
Marie-Claire, if you can remember I posted two collages, very recently on here and on FB, the layout is also from No kit 3. I don’t need to refer to it, as I created a guides template, which I resurrect, to showcase more mammals and insects. Here is one of them. (This is not one of my submissions, it’s purely for Marie-Claire)
The flair button tutorial is in the creative scrap. It’s one of Carole’s early tutorials, and although I have many favourites, I love this one the most. It’s one of the first ones I leant to do, when I joined. I created this page for a random challenge several years ago. I learnt to do this technique very quickly, by repetition. I don’t have to refer to the tut any more, the same goes for all of my favourite techniques. The flowers are my own, which I extracted from some photos I took. Again, in the blog you will find how to do extractions with ease. There are 3 masterclasses on extractions, including one on advanced extractions. Mrs Wren was going through a molt, her tail feathers grew back quite quickly.
Nadine,
also there are several tutorials in the creative scrap, decorative borders, decorative borders 2 , also font frames, hand doodle frame, loopy frame, there are others. You will just have to take the time to scroll through them methodically in creative scrap, and you’ll find them.
Carole, I’d like to take this opportunity, to thank you for the very kind compliments. Coming from you and a few others in the campus, that I hold in high esteem, it means a tremendous amount to me. I’ve come a long way after all these due to the campus.
Marie-Claire, there is a masterclass called no kit 3, which demonstrates this particular layout. I use words to showcase
photos, I like the effect, especially when I include the subjects eyes as part of the selected photos. It’s a great layout, when you want to showcase lots of photos. Lovely page. What better way to show off your photos and the page you created for those photos, than with an appropriate fancy font to tell the story with.
Sheila, you have created an incredibly beautiful wavy doilie. It’s amazing what can be created with time, and the right techniques. Superb work!
Nadine, I have attached a screen shot of where you can find the creative scrap.
I find it is very important that the text is legible and easy to read. You never who is going to read it, and whether they have 20 20 vision or visionally impaired, anyone should be able to read what I write.
Nadine, the video is from the creative scrap. Not a masterclass as I suspected. Either way, you have been able to learn how to create a plaid paper, which is lovely.
Nadine, you’ll find several plaid tutorials in the creative scrap. Off the top of my head, I don’t recollect creating a plaid paper in the masterclasses. I may be wrong. May I suggest you go to the creative scrap, and add one of the plaid links to you lovely page.

I’m one of those that like to follow instructions either from a book, or from a pdf file rather than from a video. Carole’s book is always within arms reach of the laptop. It is packed with useful tips and tricks. One such trick I used in this project. I could have done it another way, but this trick is easier. Some of you will know what it is. I’ll give you a hint, it’s to do with layering multiple photos. I create pages to showcase my photos, in greeting cards, calendars and ecards. The campus isn’t just for scrapbookers, as all tutorials can be applied to any discipline within universal graphic designing.

Congratulations Carole! There isn’t anything that I can add to what Cristina hasn’t already said. We are a wonderful, international, like minded family. I have been a member for almost 7 yrs now. I will show one of Carole’s more recent tutorials to be found in the blog, under tips and tricks.
Mary, thank you so much.

This is my last project for August. I’m going through a polaroid photo phase at the moment. Although I love flowers, I find seed pods intriguing, with their earth tones, and structures. I used all the colours. Created the bee trail, scotch tape, word art, and it’s frame. I’m all up to date with my projects. The mouse is poised ready for the Big 10 celebration!
Annie, I have only just seen your revised Country page. The oval works so much better with the text wrapping tool. I actually prefer this one. Well done my friend!
Corrie, yes it’s almost that time of year again. Blackberry picking. Blackberry Jan, blackberry and Apple tart, and blackberry cobbler, and more. Beautiful page. I have yet to create a page, I’ve been preoccupied outside.
Michele and Corrie, thank you. Yes, they are called either kits or kittens. Baby hares are called leverets.
