Wow, look what happens when I go to work. Wish I’d stayed home! I’m going to pour through these (and copy them to a word doc for future use). Right now need a tea and a rest, it was a long exhausting day. Thank you all for helping me. There is some stuff that made my head spin when I read it, but I think if I go through it slowly and look at the program files as you describe them I might get a better understanding. It does sound like the missing preset shapes could be there, just hiding in plain sight.
I did get FilterForge and Painter into the plug-ins. yay, small victory. Carole, I could use the Vector tutorials to make shapes that I could use as preset shapes, is that correct? I get what you mean about the numbering, when I saw that I thought it meant it was from corel #11. So I didn’t think it had anything to do with what I was doing. I wonder if I could load the really old programs, I have x4 and x9 ultimate(and possibly 2018 ult), can I copy those preset shapes over to 2022 without having to do an install again and selecting to keep the settings from previous versions?
On a side note: I shouldn’t really be posting this tech stuff in this forum should I? This is for the challenge. I am sorry if that was not correct. It just came out of a statement I made about not being able to do the eyelet tutorial I had wanted to do.
Thank you Rene, I will start investigating how to fix this. None of the 4 different year PSP’s I have load over two computers (and some older versions my brother in law gave me – not loaded) have the extra stuff. I have a lot to learn this week. I have Painter which came with a brush pack, have no idea where to put the files of said brush pack and how to get it as a plug in. Same with Filter forge. Wish I was more tech savy. I should have gotten into computers and not cameras back in the day. It might be painful, but I’m not giving up. this is important to learn and understand.
I do have separate files called MY PSP Resources, and I do the file location for those each time I upgrade (or re-install as this case is) and that worked fine. PSP can find and access them. That “corel_11” seems familiar to me and I had no idea what it was so I didn’t pay attention to it. I don’t know why they don’t use the obvious names like they did before. Like at my husbands work, the head office (who likely have never ever worked in a warehouse) is now call “recieves”….Voyage. You can cant get much more opposite than that. Receives is something coming, voyage is something going. But now I guess when you receive, for example, an amazon package you have gotten a “voyage”. these youngsters will be looking after us in old age! We are going to be wearing our diapers on our heads!

Thank you Sue, I think I didn’t do that. I have 2019-2022. 2021 and 2022 on this computer and 2020 and 2019 on my laptop. I checked those versions. they dont have flowers either. Some has less, only because I just bought more scripts and so I have the hexagon, puzzle and hearts from Carole’s scripts. I usually upgrade each year and always have gotten Ultimate. My husband would always advise as you did, to save content from previous. Because I was having a problem with 2022 I elected to not save, but it said it was only saving things like ratings and tags for collections so it never occurred to me that it wouldn’t have what is said it would have. I dont think I looked a the shapes before so I cant even be sure if I had them in the first place. Argh, I can be so dense about understanding what the computer is asking me or doing. Thanks for you help with this.
Here’s the “successful” install it says. I actually removed it, then reinstalled and still no flowers. sorry I made it so big. I wanted you to be able to read it.

Thank you Sue. I was wondering about that. I had to re-install PSP on the weekend. I will have to figure out what I need to add as I just did the PSP. I did fix the missing bevel as well.
I just went and re-installed the creative collection from the .exe file and it said it installed but I only have shapes like hearts, hands, arrows. No flowers. Not really sure where it went when it said it installed. or how to find it and get whatever extra’s came with it.

I tried the postage stamp tutorial. so cool. I left the sheet on the black background (not merged) so you could see it better. I forgot to add the bevel to the sheet, will go back and do that. And also tried the multicolored polkadot paper. Very subtle version with cyan-blue and magenta-blue dots. These tutorials were easy to follow along with and I got a winning result. Look how carefully I ripped that stamp out, the bottom bit is still on the sheet, doubt I could do that for real.?
I wanted to try the eyelet but had nothing in the preset shapes. Something more to look forward to acquiring. I love your layout Sue and the eyelet you did is so pretty.

Thanks Sue, I’ll have a look in the store.
Sue, I love this layout! And your tags are wonderful. I love the curl in them. Dumb question…what is “gimp”.
A = Award of Excellence
(Canada Fitness Award program; they called Participaction. Fabric patch “medals” of Bronze, Silver, Gold and the coveted ‘Award of Excellence’ – a combination of all three. Highest I got was gold, only the chin up hold stopped me from that coveted Award of excellence, but I’m over it…sort of. ?)
oops, that was me that skipped W. I guess I wont be getting the alphabet award. ?♂️
Lynda, we call the little brown birds, LBJ’s – Little Brown Jobs. I’m not great with birds either. I love them, but I cant seem to shoot anything that moves(terrible timing, even on a high speed shooting mode). If it’s a stationary object, I can photograph it for hours. That’s why I love seeing Sue’s and everyone else’s birds in the Campus.
X = X Games (Extreme Games, held twice a year; August and January/February)
Thank you Pirkko ❤.
Sue, I love that ribbon, the change in the translucent parts on the dotted paper and then the tag is really good. And the dimension in the letters and tag, it looks like a photo of a physical card you made.
Wow, everyone has being busy being creative.
Lynda: your fantasy layouts are awesome.
I am so glad you put up that Random challenge Carol. I needed to make a birthday greeting for my Aunt Bev as it was today! I made the circle and the swirly smaller and moved them down to fit the title but otherwise left it the same as I was pressed for time. I was doing another layout and totally unhappy with it when I remembered I liked the random layout. thank you. I also used the gradient script, that had me lost for 1/2 hour playing and playing with it. No wonder why nothing is quick in PSP for me.

Beautiful work Pirkko, on all your modules, is that a bengal cat on module 5. So beautiful.
I love Ann‘s take on her module too. It is inspiring me to go through it again and compare to my first time through when all of this was so new (I did it right after my very first bootcamp in May 2021).
N = Number One
G- Grey Cup (Canadian Football)
Glad to see you dive in Julie, with a very pretty page. Isn’t it cool how different everyone’s layouts are. I really enjoyed this one too. And I’m learning a lot from what others do.
Awesome! all is well in the campus again. We all must remember to “hug” our apostrophes more often so they dont get lonely!
Thank you all: Corrie for finding it, Rene for remembering how to read code and Carole who worked tirelessly to make it work again.
Now, who do I speak with about the snow that is falling right now….I want warm sunny days! Mother Nature hates Alberta right now.
I agree with Mary. Bonnie, the athletics of the pickleball players really interests me. And I have to say, I LOVE your trail cam and always am eager to see what you’ve captured. That last fox was to die for. I hope you keep those pages coming.
And to everyone in general…there can never be enough cats! and dogs…and birds, okay, anything animal. Keep them coming too.
Mary that is a really neat pattern. The ribbon is beautiful.
Pirkko, So cute! I love that page.
Sorry, I had to go to work after I posted earlier today. It doesn’t go the Basic course anymore for me. There is a photo that says “Template workshop” and Lesson 1 below, nothing has links or does anything if I hover over or click on them.
When I’m in the section where all the classes are listed with the lessons to the right, the links does work, but only takes me to what I described above. Nothing happens when I hover over it.

Carole, I tried that link. It took me to the Basic Scrapbooking Module 1.
Corrie I’m wondering if you saved the links from the actual class and could see if they worked. I usually save a link in my favorites while a class is on, then just change the day on it. But I cleaned out my favorites and emails this weekend thinking I didnt need to save that anymore. I thought maybe that link might still be active and could be used in meantime until the links in the Diamond section work.
The same thing for me too Corrie. The other two workshops are fine. The Template one has the same issue as Corrie. I tried clicking on the graphic, on the lesson 1 title. I’m on Edge, but my homepage is google chrome . I’ll try going through just google. If I dont post again, then i got the the same result as you.
Happy travels Corrie.
Wow! to everyone. Your ideas for the layouts are so creative. It’s fascinating to see all the different locations and orientation of the layers. I wouldn’t have thought of them and I’m glad to see them for inspiration.
Pirkko that’s stunning!
Thank you so much Pirkko. Your layouts are like art, your words are exhilarating for me. My heart is singing!
Here’s my random challenge. I liked doing this because it was a challenge not to resize or delete stuff and because there wasnt too many elements. the curly-q was really curly-q-y so I hid most of it. both photo’s are morning shots, the moon was today. I dont have a long lens for the moon but it doesn’t stop me from taking the shot. I think it’s bohemian waxwings that just appeared in the viewfinder so I snapped one off. The other picture is a sunset from another province (BC) but had birds in the sky to tie it in. Made masks of the big square and circle, duplicated the mask groups before merging them so I could put a selection frame around it. gradient on the curly-q. background paper darkened, and used again for the paint splash but lightened. Kitty has a bigger shadow, I’m pretending it’s a real cat, but I think I like Bonnie’s “pets” better! papers from DS and kitty from CF. No title because I used up too much words on this explanation and now I’m all out of words. I can’t talk/type anymore today….I wonder if that’s why my husband is grinning and doing a happy dance.
Ann, I went back and got the smoother one that you were talking about. I thought…if Ann bought it, it’s got to be something I should get too. ? Then I saw an email about an embossing script (I was cleaned out my inbox) and now I’m heading back for session #3 of the sale.
