Hi Cassel and friends. I am a late starter for this bootcamp, but better late than never I guess. This cute little King Charles is a new addition in my Grandsons home. I have yet to meet him. What a cutie.
This is my last day of concentration.I forgot to put a layer under the text, and my journal has not showed up, but it is there… honest!
I think I have covered everything else.
Day 6 November boot camp. Eli, our great grandson has been busy testing his baking skills for many years. Earlier this year he met a well known chef and she gifted him one of her cook books. He has just won the prime ministers award at his school for excellence. We are very proud
Here is my Day 5, remembering special times with special friends
Hi, I am a late starter for the November boot camp. here are my Day 3, and day 4 projects.
Day 3. This is my adorable No 4 Gt Grandson, such a cutie.
Day 4, what a wonderful adventure it was on the penny farthing. Just look at me go !!!
Well, now you are letting out your secrets Carole!! lol
Thanks cristina. They take me ages, and Carole whips 3 up in an hour. Hopefully I will get quicker before I am too old to manage them. lol
Thanks April Dawn, I appreciate your remarks. I likes the dots too as it wasn’t surf, it sort of matched the pictures.
Thanks Annie
This is my 3rd and last project from Cassel’s webinar of last week. I wanted to do this one to try the wavy text. The bubbles brush carole used was not in my trial download of 2020, so I used the dots and they served the purpose. I am enjoying getting back to psp, but still seem to need a tutorial to follow. I had to smile when Carole said her time was running out and she would just do a quick one, but it took me about 4 hours. lol !!
I think everything comes with the upgrade, and it does take time to get it installed, but you are correct, there is so much you can do with the tools without all the extras.
Thank you AprilDawn. He is a beauty.
Thanks so much for your encouragement Annie. I have had a heap of versions over the years, I started with version 8, but have had lots of spells, and new computers etc and when my last laptop blew up, I lost all my psp, so bought the 2019 upgrade. I have had some issues, but it is like a naughty child, you learn how to handle it. I specially am interested in 2020 for some of the improved and finer detailed the tools provide. Have a go, try the new version.
Cheers Shirley
I have downloaded the trial version of 2020, and here is my 1st scrap page from same. This is the 2nd page from Cassel’s tutorial presentation for corel last week. The photo is a part my front garden all glamoured up for a special Birthday celebration. I have followed totally to the tutorial using all psp tools except for adding some confetti down each side. Thanks carole
I am still using 2019 but plan to download the 2020 trial package. I thought that may be the reason. Thanks carole
Hi, Day 7 last dayand for this project, I have stayed true to the freebe and only used the elements from that download.
Thanks to Carole for the help received for these revision tutorials.
Hi, My day 6 busy bees.
Day 5 special friends
A close friend recently lost everything in a house fire. She was pleased I had photos to print off for her from when the house was shifted to the site. I decided to put them together in a frame for her birthday next month. I had so much trouble with this tutorial in the double page project that I decided to use it again for revision , and pleased to say I sailed through much better. My daughter up cycles wooden items to a shabby chic look, so she is on the job with a soft green frame
.
Day 4 project
What a special day this was, husband catching his first salmon. He had no sooner thrown the line out,and there it was!!! snap ! I have used the freebee elements for this challenge except for the selected pink backing.
Hi, Here is my day 3 project. This is my youngest Great Grandson, now 9 yrs. I thought it was a cute photo to work on.
Annie you are sooooo talented.
Hi here is my day 1 September boot camp project. It is pretty basic unfortunately with no frills. Hopefully I will become more adventurous in the coming days.
Happy to be here again, I was a late starter with the double take and I found it very challenging and I had big issues so I hope to do much better in this one although I am out of town helping a friend with a house shift and not in my own environment. However I am looking forward to it and many thanks to Cassel for her time and patience.
Thanks Sharon for your kind remarks.
Hi, Double take -Day 2 comes in a bit quicker. Each year I take some shots around my summer garden. These were taken in 2014. It looked pretty colorful that year and Mr Fred came to stay. This is a great way to show off our photos that usually only we get to ponder over. I live in a secret paradise where our 4 seasons are very different. We are known as the hottest wee town in the summer and the coldest in the winter and the in between seasons are very pretty.
Hi, This is my Day 1 challenge, better late than never. All the photos are mine, and taken around our little piece of paradise. Page 1 shows our hometown rivers lakes and bridges. Page 2 shows our hometown seasons, and the larger upload is my summer garden.
Hi,
Apart from being a late starter due to computer issues, I am still getting through Day 1 which I have found that if you sway just the tiniest wee bit from the instructions you are in trouble, to which I have been many times. Good news I have completed the 1st page of day 1, and would like to do page 2 same as the soccer girl with the larger picture as in the tutorial. That would give me a 4 photo block and 1 larger photo, plus the header now on the bottom but I don’t know how to take away the extra frames to fit the larger photo in. Help !!!.
Shirley
I can go back to 2012 or 13 myself. I have attended and enjoyed many presentations. Cassel you are a gem, so helpful and inspirational. I think teejay would be a very early starter.
Hi, I have registered, but not able to start the double take yet as I have had a busy week.
I recently cremated my laptop and just received my new one after a 3 month break. I was ready to start tonight, and I have done another whoopsee, not a bad one but I don’t know how to get out of it so will need to get some help tomorrow.
I would like to tell what happened to my old laptop because it was such a freak accident I would not like it to happen to you. I prepared to charge my tablet and my usual multi power connection plug was full so I chose to charge it through my laptop, I made the connection and walked away, when I returned and removed the connection alarm bells rang big time and my usb ports were deemed unusable and it would not even accept my mouse dongle.Three techs were unable to correct the fault. Long story short the big boy experts decided I had overpowered the mother board. Fortunately my insurance helped out. It was the first time I had charged in this way.
