Love it Marlene. I like to read your very informative and interesting journalling as it tells us such a lot about the picture. Can’t imagine living in that tree but it must have been OK to produce two babies whilst inhabiting it.
Bonnie how lovely for you. Great page. I love to see birds free to go where ever they want to and they give us so much pleasure with their company that we don’t mind the expense of feeding them. You will get to know them well and their little personalities will show through. We get white Doves and Jackdaws in abundance too. Their table manners can be a little fractious though.

Great layout Dawn. Having a challenge often prompts the old artistic juices to flow.

Lovely work ladies. I am busy making bunting for a wedding so do not have much time to play with PSP and then there are favour boxes to do. Already done over a 100 wedding invitations so think I will go and have a lie down.

H= Heron. Beautiful big bird and statuesque but likes nothing more than to steal breakfast from your ponds and if it is shallow that beak is very adept at making holes in pond liners. © Pixabay

Both lovely pages Dawn and Marlene. Will have to look at what photo’s I have as I know there are a few of birdies and do something with them.

Thank you Dawn and you are welcome. I haven’t participated on here as much as I would like to as I have had cataract surgery and another to come next week. I have also made/put together a 100 wedding invites for my grandsons wedding this coming May. They took some time to do as I made all the paper roses to go on them, and the only thing I used PSP for was the inserts. Will post a piccie at some stage. Now I have bunting to make and favour boxes to finish. Although I love doing these things, all I can say is never again, too much for one person to do.

Reading the latest tips tutorial on making your own preset shapes jogged my memory that I had a script by Suz Shook to make preset shapes from Dingbats. So I had two differing topics to have a play with. I made a preset shape by vector tracing around a fushia which turned out well. I then used the script with dingbats and that worked really well but restricted to the actual Dingbat image.
Tonight I have been playing and I drew out a corner Dingbat Preset shape, used Simple plugin top left mirror and turned it into a black and white image, inverted it and then use Cassels Bronzit script. It resulted in a image that looked 3D. I used a photo of my Gt Gt Grandfather, used a sepia effect and Cassels Photo Mask script <span style=”color: #333333; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;”>on it</span>. I love the effect and think I am going to use this technique on other old photos I have. Anyway TFL.

Welcome Karen. There are lots of great things on this site and Cassel is a great teacher and has a fab shop with all sorts of things for PSP. Every month she does a free live seminar and shows lots of wonderful ways to use PSP. Hope to see your work and you will find us all friendly and supportive. We come from all over the globe and it is great to unite here. I am from the UK.

So sorry for the loss of your precious mother Dawn, it is a life event of significance. I lost my lovely Sister last August so can empathize a lot with you here. Grieving takes time and emotions will be all over the place for some while. Do take solace in nice calming activities and when it gets rough, its perfectly ok to cry and be angry, all part of coming to terms with your loss. take care.

Lovely, lovely card Dawn. When I did Parchment craft I used polychromas pencils which blended well and are my favs. These days I use the same principals for colouring but do it with PSP instead.
