Lovely Work Ladies. I cut a doily to make a sleeve for flowers. Reminded me of vintage Valentines. Anyway, TFL.
Used all my own tubes apart from some foliage which I have had for years but have no idea who they belong to.

Love it Michelle. I have yet to have a play with the program but looks like you have got to grips with it really well.

Although he is way back in time and is one of my 9th Gt Grandfathers, I can offer Oswald Van Keppel.
Lovely work on here.

Cassel, we get to the end of October to get the paper version of your tax return in or if you reg to do it online you have until the end of Jan, so I am probably early. Nearly done, just got to get hubby to check it and then I am free to play..

F = Florence Burdett, my maternal grandmother.
Everyone has done so well with this challenge but I’m afraid I failed to get past day one. I spent ages looking through discs for suitable photo’s and then decided to look for the real thing and they have gone AWOL in the depths of the cupboard, so was thoroughly fed up. 🙁
I might have another go but as I have a holiday looming I may just give this a miss.
Well done everybody.

Here is my day 1. I used my own photo and images from Pixabay. TFL.

Thank you Dawn.

Thank you Michelle and Christina. I used a plugin from Filters unlimited to make the curl from Sandflowers Special Page Curl Romantic which was set to transparent. Love plugins and have quite a lot of them. The whole thing sort of evolved as I was doing it, nothing really planned so overall, I was pleased with the end result.

I know we are now into August but I did this last week after being away and then couldn’t find where to post it until now so its a bit late but here it is nonetheless. TFL.
I made an interlaced border and <span style=”color: #333333; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;”>a photo of some Armour from somewhere we visited last year. Love using this technique as it is so useful. I also made the frame around the photo using another of cassels techniques of feathering and brightness and contrast to give hihlights and the illusion of it being bevelled.</span>

Everybody has been so busy and creating some good stuff. Love to see the different things being done. I too have been doing things . I have been practicing drawing and painting. I am no artist but can trace with the pen tool, love them nodes. Here is what I came up with, a Dog Rose.
I also extracted a peonie and coloured in a rose from a line drawing, sorry don’t know whose drawing it was as I have had it on my PC for a very long time so I can’t credit the original artist. Anyway, thanks for looking. Sheila x
Nicely done Christina.
X =xerox coping machine.
I know there are other makes but in my day of study this was the one you used to copy articles for your assignments.
P = Peer group support, Paper for note taking, Pens and Pencils.
N = Note taking. Not that I made sense of stuff but stopped me nodding off during boring lectures.
Annie, this is fabulous and what a great lesson for life. Love it and the words speak so very true.

J = Jollity.
Couldn’t have got through study and exams without a bit of fun now and again. I always remember the saying, all work and no play makes jack very dull indeed and it is so true.
D= Degree or Diploma
Love the stitching Annie, great effect.
Sheila
Thank you Dawn and Michelle. I do like to do a bit of vectoring.
