J = Jolly as in ‘Now’s the season to be Jolly, faa laa laa laalaa’……
Card number 7. I used an image from Pixabay. For the lace ribbon, I used a very old tut to make lace using a font called Ruritania and interlaced a ribbon strip. I added some texture to the background and strip elements. The font writing was one called Candara. I did not do an envelope as in real time I have an envelope board for any cards I make but it was useful to see the process of devising one in PSP.
Carole, I forgot to say I interlaced the lights, such a fantastic technique. Thank you for teaching us how to do it.
My card number 6. Image and word art from Creative Fabrica and fairy lights tube from Cassel. TFL
My card number 5. Made it a Get well one. The flower image is one i did earlier in the year. It was a Doverpub free image that I made the background transparent with the Cybia plugin Alphaworks before applying the colouring and shading using many, many layers. Thank goodness for Carole’s Script for grouping. Anyway, I thought I would use it for this card. The font is called Gladista. TFL
Card number 4. Image from Creative Fabrica, Font called Nattasha. Corner Brush called 5Geomedings. TFL
My card number 3. I used images and word art from free Creative Fabrica Bundles which I seem to have an abundance of now. Anyway, TFL.
Card 2. I did not feel happy about the ribbon but it is what it is. I used a free floral doodle to colour in and although I tried Carole’s technique i got into a bit of a pickle so did another technique. Still, Carole’s one is something new and for me to practice another time. The font is called 4 Magic DNA. I used some texture on most of it. TFL.
My day 1 card. Background image by Monika viaPixabay, Font called ChristmasWishCalligraphy ? by whom. Stars by myself. Ribbon from free bundle and coloured by me. TFL
Mary you did a fab job. I always end up changing backgrounds, photo’s etc; until something pleases my eye. I have far too much saved with freebies and hardly ever use any of it. Same with fonts…and I can’t stop collecting. Oh dear…
Here is my interpretation for this challenge. It took longer than I thought it might but wonder if it’s because i over think things and then get in a muddle. This is the beauty of Paint shop pro because you can alter things and change your mind if you are not happy with what you did. I think I changed things quite a lot. I tried lots of what we have been taught by Carole and even though she does it all effortlessly, I have had a few goes. Anyway, I got there in the end. I used some images from Pixabay and used textures to try to make them look like fabric. Some of the other tubes were fairly old and I am not sure where from but they would have been free for use. The central image is all my own graphic work. I used a font called Geo slab 703 Le BT. TFL.

I found this a bit of a challenge but still enjoyed the process. I used my own photo for the focal point and included the BINGO grid second line down from the left. Elements to use are, Admission ticket, Chain links, Single Flower, Paperclip and Gel Element.
I used Carole’s Scripts for the admission ticket, lifted photo and glittered gel. I used a font called Frank Ruhl Hofshi and staple tubes by Winni.
I used a free digi flower stamp I have had years but can’t credit the artist. However, I did colour it after making it have a transparent background. The paperclip and dingly dangly chain star was my own creation probably using a tut from by someone that again I am unable to credit. I used a lot of Carole’s techniques with shadowing and interlacing etc. TFL
J = Jubilee.
My go at this and my result after a bit of a play. Added borders and used blend modes. Images and background courtesy of Graphicfairy.
I had a play using the Dividing Frames Filter Forge plugin as demoed by Carole in the last webinar. I needed to rejig a few things to accomodate my project. Using this template was a lot easier to place and show images of the Mini Scrapbooks, which I made from paper, card and glue (including the flowers) and bits and bobs like lace and buttons etc. I don’t keep any for myself and all went to good homes. Hopefully they will get filled with photo’s and things. One friend is going to store all her seed packets in the one I made for her. TFL
G = Glastonbury festival. A very famous musical event where thousands descend to spend a few days roughing it in tents usually in the climatical weather that often occurs in Britain during the summer months, in order to see famous musicians from all over the world.

Thankyou Liz, it is just something I love to do with PSP. I can just colour and listen to a play/audio book at the same time. It sort of soothes the mind.
Not a scrap page. I have lost my mojo a bit. I am still playing with PSP though and love to do lots of different things I can add to a page when inspiration comes. So, I used a black and white line image from Graphics Angel, used Cybia Alphaworks plugin to remove the white background and using about 150 layers, coloured it in and used shading to give some depth. I used Carole’s group script to contain all those layers. TFL
Hello Christiane, this is a lovely place to be and you will find equally lovely members who are really supportive and will give you lots of love and help. Carole is the best of teachers who really does go above and beyond to give you confidence to get the most fromPSP.
Something I did in 2019 for my grandson and his wife. Theyhad a lovely honeymoon in Cornwall. I used a linen texture on the backgrounds. I used Carole’s font Stitches2.I used my own extracted Dog Rose photo,my own drawn and coloured leaf branchto decorate. The bird image was courtesyof Graphicsangel and the font was 2Peas-Champagne. TFL
Well, we are nearly at the end of January and lots of lovely and vibrant layouts being done. I have been playing with no real plan in mind as I have lost my mojo a bit and felt a bit lost. Anyway, this emerged and I used it to to showcase a photo of my maternal family. How young they were then and how time flies. I wonder if our photo.s will be as interesting and thought provoking in many years time. Most images are my own, extracted or created from drawing and colouring, with the addition of a couple of labels from Graphic Angel. I made some net and addmission tickets using Caroles Scripts. Anyway, TFL.
H = Health. We get daily updates on the health status of the areas and nation.
Thankyou Corrie and Sue. Lovely work being done everyone.xx
I used a free image courtesy of Doverpub, used the plugin Alphworks by Sybia to remove the white background and started colouring using many, many layers, at least 150. Thank goodness for Carole’s Group Script. Anyhow the colours are very close. I used some shadowing techniques to hopefully show some depth in the right places. Anyway, thanks for looking.
Thank you Betsy and Ann. I love what everyone has done with Carole’s frames, all so different and great imaginations. I think we can give us all a clap on the back for a job well done. x
I have made another one and have used my own graphics and placed on Cass frame no 4. I changed the original colour. TFL
Made another one. Used my own pine and berry graphic and placed on 4 sides of Carole’s frame no 2. I felt it needed to be kept rustic and relatively simple. TFL.
I have had a go at this frame challenge and produced a result more by accident and playing than deliberate design. I used one of Carole’s frames and a font by signfonts.com – A & S Christmas Script. I used a free image courtesy of GraphicAngel where I removed the background, placed it in a corner and used a plugin Simple, Top Left Mirror. I made a lattice for the sides. I tried to get an embossed look using several techniques which i cannot remember the sequences but kept going until I liked the final result. I used plugins, blend modes etc. Anyhow, I have done one, yay. TFL.

Thank all for your help. I did manage to bypass and download the freebie. Just got to think of a way to use them now.
