I am posting the 4th project with the bow the proper color and the final project. I learned a lot from this bootcamp. I wasn’t a scrapbooking person before so it took a little time to change my thinking. Most of my experience with PSP was in attempting to edit photos and I am just a beginner. Thanks for all the video tutorials, I watched them many times. I appreciate being able to see other people’s work and learn from them
Thanks again
Joan. This was a fun exercise. I probably should have left the bow off…but I got carried away.
I did some more work on the text. For some reason, I have a hard time changing the text once I’ve deselected it. I decided to keep at it until it looked like I wanted.
My photos were so large, I couldn’t size them down enough to fit three horizontally and still see the details good enough, so I stacked them vertically. The photos were taken at the Keukenhof gardens in the Netherlands.
When I added the shadow to the trees, they looked a little more blurred. But I left it anyway.
Hi Carole,
I just figured out what I was doing wrong (not copying as layer), but what has also been happening is when I go to scale, the options are not the same. What am I doing wrong? Just when I thought I was learning how to do this, NOT!
Thanks,
JoanHi Carole,
I’m attaching a screen shot of a problem I’m having. I create my canvas and load my picture in a layer. Then when I want to load a paper for a background, my original background and picture go away and I’m left with just the paper I wanted to use as a background. I don’t know why and it keeps happening. Can background pictures be either .jpg or .png? Also, for some reason my background originally, I think, was the black and white squares, now it’s just plain white. I must have changed something.
Any suggestion?
Thanks,
JoanI redid my project with new paper, etc.
Since this is my first scrapbook page, I just used the kit we were referred to.
I used a photo of one of my quilts for the tablecloth.
