Oh, Yeah, I can’t remember how I did it the year that happened. Maybe I had done it from first trying the trial. Usually, I do purchase the boxed but a couple times I have not.

Thank you so much for responding so quickly with that information! It’s amazing to me that you have all of those versions installed. Your computer system must be awesome.

Thank you! Have a beautiful day Cassel.

Thank you Carole. It seemed like a lot of different users were complaining about the most recent one for one reason or another so I kept waiting until it had been purchased/reviewed enough etc. , because I was’nt having issues with my version. You’ve heard the expression ‘if it aint broke, don’t fix it’, I kind of went by that. It’s really good info to know about an approximate  timeframe of newer ones on the way, thanks. I hope your beta testing is going well.

Oh Cassel, thank you for the link about capturing screen shots within PSP! For years now I’ve always used the printscreen button and would then have to open it in psp and crop/edit the captures. I have to get this set up and start practicing. It’s a very detailed blog post and I’m sure I will have to refer to it several times until I get used to it. Thank you.

I like what you created a lot. It’s a very nice way to showcase an assortment of pictures (memories)!

I am using a Wacom Intuos Pro-medium. I bought it about 6 months ago. I use it and my regular wireless mouse. It opens up a lot of ease of use, opportunities both with Paintshop Pro & Corel Painter. I use it with Windows 10. For drawing, painting, different paintbrush & tube settings, or even for doing hair, fur, landscapes, etc. The fun and experimenting is endless. I do love having & using it but I miss the use of my XP Pen Display which became unusable to me using Windows, one of their updates made it become unusable, obsolete so to speak, overnight. Anyway, yes, its quite usable & fun with many different tools and techniques. Right now, its cheaper than what I paid for it (like $100 cheaper). It might be a good time to buy.

OMG, you just never know do you?  That’s kind of weird. I’m glad you figured it out!  Thanks for the info about Photoshop users. I will probably end up just donating them…I’ve been purging/downsizing my home for awhile now (35+years of accumulation here).  Anything that can’t/don’t get used MUST GO lol!  Because of physical issues, I’m finding that I want less STUFF, to store, organize, trip over, etc….Living in a small home has it’s challenges but I’m kind of liking LESS STUFFS.  Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks Carole, for the quick reply too. I think I’m going with a new Wacom Intuos. (I don’t have to have the display like on the artist22e, but it was really nice to use for awhile).

If you’re using an old one your doing good! When I went round and round with Xpen over the issue because they advertise LIFETIME SUPPORT (hmmmm?) Yep, NO.  My artist 22 was working fine one day and 24 hours later…done for.  It will still plug in, you can still see paintshop pro and your design your working on, etc. You can no longer access the PEN TABLET software to adjust pen settings, screen settings, or even just so it recognizes your pen! Overnight, the pen tablet and software was gone, out of my computer (by windows).

Finally, Wacom was able to answer a few questions…It has to do with Windows doing a way with  Wintab and any products that require it.  In an effort to make everyone use WINDOWS INK.  So, suddenly, by doing away with it. Wintab drivers were broken.  No one’s created any type of driver or software that can over-ride what Windows did (at least not that I could find on my own).  I could plug in both of the units, and light them up, I could not control the pen or the mouse at all.  I searched and searched for answers, tried to uninstall windows update etc. I guess because it’s a cumulative update, you have no access to get rid of it.  Xpen told me that if I could get it out of my computer (the update) that my display would work indefinitely, but you have to stop windows from ever putting back in your putor….ughhh!

So, low and behold, I need to find someone who uses a mac, who could possibly get use out of these 2 tablets that I can no longer use.  Otherwise they will end up at the goodwill anyway. (the artist one was almost $700!)  Guess, what?  They are still selling it right now on Amazon (about $400), advertising that it works with windows 10 too, but not telling anyone about the fact that it will no longer work on windows if you’ve had that update install.??? That’s why, I’m probably going with Wacom.

I wonder if wacom has somehow updated your driver/software to compete with these windows changes?  If not, just be aware that it may stop working at any time.

Thanks a lot for your reply.  I hope you have a really good night. I have an mri very early in the a.m. so it will be an early night for me.

                      Take care!, Margaret

I don’t know if it has anything to do with it or not but….Yesterday (Saturday Nov 08, 2020), Windows did a rather long update on my putor & following that DELL did a huge update on the putor.  All in all in took a couple of hours. After that all of my plugins were not showing in my PSP 2020.  I tinkered with it a bit not understanding why they weren’t showing.  I finally got some of them to show by going to the FILE LOCATIONs setting in PSP and check marking the box that reads: Allow file format plug-ins to request pre-filtering of support file types.  After that I got several of them back but still, many are not.  My favorites Alienskin Eyecandy and Superblade Pro are back so that makes me kind of ok until I figure out why the others aren’t showing. Just an fyi, if anyone else is having the isssue since the last updates of windows and/or dell.

Hi Eileen! Yes, I’ve seen the same thing as well, losing the 1 pixel. Very weird.  Well, now I’ve decided to go through my file folders and check files that show up in cm. Then I go and batch rename them with 300ppi on the end. That will prevent me from having to check each one weeks and months down the road. The only problem is, I have loads and loads of graphic designs to go through. That’s why I called it a pain in the butt.

Hopefully, in some future version they will do something about that units of measure thing. Til then we just have to work around it.

Thanks a bunch for your input. You have a beautiful rest of the day!

I appreciate you and eileen looking into it for me. I do know that it is the same measure but I just don’t understand why it does that. It seems to me there should be some setting or something one could change to fix it.  I consider it to be a glitch.  It’s just so much easier if the units of measurements stayed the same.  I do have some graphics with different cm readings as well and I have to use an online converter to get the actual ppi.  It’s kind of a pain in the butt, I think.  I guess if there is no fix I just have to accept it. Thanks a bunch to both of you!
