Day 11 _Project 5
With this scrapbook page I tried to capture a sense of pool-side fun with a feeling of bubbles and buoyancy.
Day 9 _Project 4
These photos were taken at the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, 2015.
Day 7 _Project #3
My husband and I often go to the Philadelphia Zoo on my birthday. These photos are part of a series taken in 2012. This year the pandemic prevented us from going. I used a kit by Marisal called Pretty Things.
Thanks Carol for your tips on drop shadows. Getting the proper parameters for just the the right shadow dimensions can be tricky. I do have the names of the kids on my home PC version of the scrapbook page but it’s a personal policy to not post their names in online forums. Do you have any basic guidelines for drop shadows such as a paper element vs other objects with varying degrees of depth? Thanks again for sharing your expertise.
Adventure _Day 5 Project
Cousins Day Out Adventure. The kit I used is called Adventure Page by Patty B.
Day 3 – Project #1
I took this photo at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France where my husband and I had gone to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The couple standing under the Arc, as well as celebrating 40 years of marriage, reminded of Robert Browning’s quote “Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made.”

My table holds a sandwich, small side plate with tomato slices and a pickle, accompanied by a soothing cup of hot tea.
