I guess it is better late than never. This is one of my favorite places in the US. I live about 2 hrs away and have hiked and backpacked in the park several years ago. It is the most visited Nat’l Parks which causes over crowding and traffic problems, but it is BEAUTIFUL. I am not a “fancy things” person so kept the design simple.
In California central valley, spring brings out blossoms of many orchards with varying colorful blooms. These are almond blossoms.
After a lot of strange happenings (and a lot of help from a patient tutor), this project was finished. Not sure how it evolved and whether all instructions were followed, but it is done!!
Finally finished Project 2. For some reason the title text didn’t change color. Well, it did and I didn’t like it so I tried again and it stayed black. Decided after several times that I like it black. Jeff is my son and Martha is my niece. They had a great time running around the backyard under the umbrella while it poured.
I’m glad I kept the tutorial open. I got lost a bit and went back for a “refresher.” Skipped the onions. Also turned the cup around so the handle was on the right.
Finally, I was able to get on after multiple issues. I chose the medium gray — compromise? The image is “Acadia Sunset” taken at Acadia NP. It is one of many photos I have taken in the Parks and other traveling.
