Day 3, a bit behind..  I enjoy looking at all of the great pages.   My husband’s housecoat was in the laundry and he put on mine.   It’s a good thing we live out in the country.

Day 2, enjoyed working with the plaids.  Used fall colours.  Added some stitches.

There is lots of talent.   Here is my Day 1, a bit late.   I am not at home so I am limited to the pictures I have.

DeLoris, you are such an inspiration your work is lovely.   Please keep sharing I really enjoy getting more ideas.   Our granddaughter started playschool.   I used Cass Chalk texture for the writing and apple.   I used my bestest script clip to it.   I make my frames/borders and then pick the paper from the kit and clip the paper to the frame and I am done.  I used sticker detail, scrapbook campus, for the sticker effect round “playschool”

Dawn the colors in your tag are so calming.

                  Michele, love the accordion effect

DeLoris, I am sure you and Heidi will spend lots of time playing with the new toy.   I like the overflow effect with the flowers.  I tried it last month with water.  I hope to try it with something else this month

I did a page about my mom, it is vintage and I used the laces Cassel provided.   Thanks Cassel.  My mom loved to sew so I found a dress form.   I used a lot of color  layers.  The main colors of the kit I used were brown and blue.   So I used color layers to change the color of the blue elements to a burgundy color.

Bonnie, the use of the template is great.  We started playing pickleball in our small community hall once a week.  There are a few of us that go south in the winter where we learned how to play the game.   Those that stay here in the winter use our community hall to play.

My husband’s name is Ken.   On the internet I found a Ken doll taking a white poodle for a walk, with a PINK leash.   It was in a JPG format, I erased the white poodle and put our little chihuahua on the end of the rope.   I found a double frame and tried to line them up the best I could.   I was constantly LOL doing this one.    The path that the Ken doll is walking is the same path that Ken used but a different picture.   I had a bit of trouble on the fine details of the leash a few extra pixels here and there.  Hope you have a chuckle or two like I did!!!!  The JPG image below is a bit off, my Ken is not that dark and the Ken doll is not that bright on my original.

Cassel, I really enjoyed this Master Class.   Such great ideas, I am constantly learning and in awe of what you do.  I tried my best, tried to blend the ghost into the building.  The lower jpg image makes it look at bit green, a bit brighter and building has a bit more brown tinge to it in my PSP image.   I had a lot of fun with this one totally amazed at the results.   Thanks again for keeping us inspired.

Our daughter moved into her home in 2011, I had not scrap booked this as I was unsure how to do it and the pictures are very low quality.  I used house template that Cassel gave us and the pictures worked well in the template.   I used Cass Clip To It to clip the pictures to the shapes in the house.  This script puts the picture and shape into a merged layer.   Once I am happy with the merged layers I then use Cass Merge Group Rename so I only end up with one layer.  Once I decided which scrap kit I was going to use I used Cass Open as A Layer, free script, this script brings in the elements/papers with the same name as in the scrap kit.   This way I always have the name of the file of each element/paper.     I used Cass Edge Magic script to darken the edge around the paper and the 2 tags at the top.   I used Cass emboss tape script, with free special elite font, for the dyno tape.   I applied drop shadows per Cassel’s guidelines.  However, I had a lot of elements so I used Cass Shadow Placer.  Cassel thanks for sharing the house template with us

Great posts.   Love the house template ones.  I just received mine hope to work on it.   Michele a very appealing project with the fashions.   Cristina the blend modes worked great I like it better too.   I did a simple page, I started with a very neutral paper.   I used an adjustment layer, my first time.  It was the brightness/contrast.   I increased the contrast so it would show up more.  Then added my pictures I made my own mask with a soft brush.  Used my most fav Cass Clip to it to clip the pictures to the masks.   I used the Luminance Legacy blend mode too, at 61 so the pictures blended in with the paper.   My grand daughter and I were both looking up so I added some butterflies.

                                      Wow!  Great inspiration.

My husband, journeyman carpenter, built our home in 1983-84.   I wanted a “U” shaped house so that there could be a deck in the center.   He designed it and we have raised our children here and are now retired and still enjoying it.  I used cass date stamp2 and added a “grunge effect” as described in one of Cassel’s sessions.

Our granddaughter made the best turkey out of her hand prints.   I scanned it as a JPG file and used it on our 2014 Thanksgiving family picture.  I created the mask with a soft brush on the outer areas.  I used a lot of blending to get the effect I wanted.   I used a larger drop shadow to project the floating of the leaves.   I used FFF Tusj font, free from dafont.   I really liked the effect it gave.  I followed Cassel’s Master Class Text Tool.   I drew an eclipse around the mask and applied the text to path.  I had some Turkey “foot prints” and placed them on the page.

My maternal grandparents.  I tried to make my page look “old” by keeping everything brownish.   I used Cassel’s Grungy edge to make the grunge effect around the edge of the paper.   I found newspaper and lighted the opacity and erased some of the typing.   I found a tag I liked and made a template out of it.   This was a great challenge, I had to go to other family members to get the pictures.   I have not yet received any of my paternal grandparents.

I over did it I ended up with 22 roses.   I started with a pink background then added some layers and added some black brushes, some more transparent then others, by adjusting the layer blend and using blurs.   I used a template for the shapes of the pictures and used my favorite script Cass Clip to it to place the pictures in the shapes.  Added a couple of butterflies, lace and added drop shadows per Cassel’s guidelines.

My husband is allergic to bees, so when we find a bees nest I have to knock it down.   There was one on a fence and I wanted to be protected so I drove the truck up to it and with a broom stick I knocked it down and quickly rolled up the window.  I searched on the internet and found the “aging” wonder woman.   I brought it into PSP and removed the background and made a PNG file.   I added arrows from preset shapes and added some texture.   I added the sticker effect from Cassel “How to create a sticker with PSP”.  I added a Queen bee, rather sexy one to offset the aging wonder woman!!!   I added a bee hive and placed it in the lasso, erased the back part of the lasso to make the effect the bee hive was inside.  I used a SF Slapstick Comic font.   Added a narrow frame with a small bevel to the pictures.  Added drop shadows per Cassel’s guidelines.  Used a purchased scrap kit for the paper and call out.  My inspiration was from Cassel’s Lab 6 Module 5.   The pictures were not that great, my husband was taking them from inside the house, but the story was funny and I wanted to remember it.

Some very talented people in this group.

Here is my day 7, I am not sure I like the effect of the alpha maybe I should have used a different paper.  However, I used clone for the first time on the bottom left side the lady that was taking of the picture was also in the ball.  I was surprised how well it turned out.

Annie great colors so vivid.  I enjoy seeing all of the layouts they certainly have given me some ideas…. Thanks

My day 6, I used the flag (from internet) of BC and used Cass Stamp1 script for the stamp edge.   I started by drawing some boxes to see where I wanted my pictures.   When I was happy with the layout and size I brought in my pictures and used Cass Clip to it script.  This is by far my BEST and MOST used script I have, it saves hours of work and an excellent result.  I followed Cassel’s instructions Binding Scripts in Paintshop Pro and this script is a button on my tool bar for easy access.  I followed the instructions to make the postcard.  I tried to add a bit of humor to this page with the crab and swimsuit lady.   I tried to add some perspective shadows to the crab and swimsuit lady following Unit 11 Perspective and Cast Shadows.   I still have a bit of a problem with them but getting there.  (SLOW but SURE).
