Carole, I looked at it again and I have no idea! I just looked at it as a mask that I liked not giving any thought to it being snowflakes. It never crossed my mind I just looked at it as a design that filled the page! Ha, perhaps I should add another mask! Although this is the 2nd year the bluebirds had eggs by the 24th of March and we did have a few nights where it did get below freezing.

Day 3, trying to stay on the same theme and use pictures I took recently of the bluebird nest.

Carole, I thought perhaps since there was a question concerning dates that I may add the dates to each one? I hope this helps to explain myself better.

Carole, thanks for the suggestion. Yes the eggs are from 24 March 2021 and the birds were taken 18 April 2021.

The picture edges were used under Image-Picture Frame-Edge Brush. It was a component of PSP.  On my 2nd Day I used a mask from Arasimages. Today is 22 April and they should fledge within the next 3 to 4 days. Last year after 30 days they built a nest and had a 2nd brood in the same house.

Karon, you should be proud of your sons and their commitment to keeping the values of the United States alive. When I look back upon the decision to make serving in the military optional, I think that was a mistake. I also think giving up to 50% of the citizens the right not to pay any income taxes at all was a mistake as well. I don’t care how little that should be it would have required them to put a little “skin in the game”. I can remember my father doing his own income taxes and writing a check for $400-$500.00. While I’m sure it was a burden it also made him more proud to do so.

                    Thank you for writing.

                    Raymond

                      To Diamond Members:

I have sat here and read all the laudable details about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I did not vote for him.  I voted for Donald Trump. If you want to support a man who was at a meeting on January 5, 2017 while he was still Vice President and discussed plans to essentially destroy a man’s Presidency when he was not even going to be inaugurated for 15 more days then you do not know his history. A Democratic party who dredged up a total lie about “Russian collusion”, which has since been discovered was financed by Hillary Clinton, illegally outed hundreds of people by the CIA by unmasking their names on confidential telephone calls, took advice from Fiona Hill, a member of the last impeachment who was well aware of the lies of the British spy, Daniel Steele, that is your right, both as citizens of other countries and those of the USA but I for one am not proud of it.

Joe Biden, who in one day signed a decree letting go 92,000 illegal aliens who just happened to be convicted of crimes by juries and judges and we think that is wise, has to be judged on their criminal activity in the future. By the stroke of his signature he told thousands of union workers who were working on the Keystone XL pipeline to go home, your job has been cancelled without consulting Canada at all and which will result in an immediate tax increase on every gallon of gas we buy, was that a compassionate decision?

I, for one, raised my hand and took the oath of office to “uphold and defend the constitution of the United States” and spent six years of my life in the U.S. Army, have the right to a different opinion and now I am supposed to be “re-educated” because my views are dangerous? We are so close to losing the first Amendment of the Bill of Rights, which is freedom of speech and why I am taking the time to write this. If it is your wish that I never post another comment on this web site again, then so be it. If I am not welcome because I am a conservative and proud of it, I will gladly leave.

                      Sincerely,

                      Raymond Easley

I had made the initial scrapbook image for Christmas but changed the color of the background, took out some plants, added the 2 rose elements and have been working with animation after Annie gave me the website. The only other program that is necessary is JASC Animation Shop Version 3.11. I could download the 3.05 version without any problems but each time I tried to find 3.11 it would take me to the Corel Website. I think that program,, JASC has been replaced by Photomirage? I had to resize the scrapbook image to begin. I made the banner with animation separately and copied and pasted it. It has to be a gif file. The animation is explained in Arasimages.com using Noise on 3 different layers, each with different amounts, copied into JASC animation Shop with the total file saved again as a .gif file. This is the result and I have Annie to thank. She was right, this can be addicting. It took several attempts to get the size down and still see the “movement”.

Val, Bonnie, thank you. I have been trying to understand the basic understandings of animation with “noise”. The main problem is learning how to save a whole project as a .gif file and keeping it small enough to be able to email or post.

To all who has been having the same problems with the plugin “Simple” which turned out NOT to be simple:

                                        1. I was able to install Filters Unlimited

                                        2. Using PSP 2021 32 bit version- once I opened a file….chose Effects-Filters Unlimited I opened it

                                        3. At the very bottom where it says IMPORT……..click to where the individual files under the Simple folder reside

                                        4. Choose all of the ones except the file extensions .txt and import……..

5 You don’t have to change the settings in File-Preferences-File Locations since you have already installed Filters unlimited

                                        6. You now see the folder in Filters Unlimited called “Simple” and it will run there!

I have been working on this for 2 days and I was about to give up…..hopefully I will USE what is in Simple!

                                        Thanks and hope this helps.

I have tried installing it in different locations to no avail. Carole if you have any information about this particular program I would appreciate it. Thank You in Advance.

I have never tried this before but value your opinions. She is a friend who asked me to extract her from a 1973 photo with 3 other people. I have used Mask AI from Topaz Labs to isolate her. I then went into PSP with elements, different textures, highlights, shadows. Anyone have an opinion to help make them more realistic? Thanks in advance.

Minka, I really like that. Very unique.

Sue, sometimes when I’ve been using Paintshop Pro for a while and it starts to slow, if I exit, delete temporary files by either using a program such as Ccleaner or you can go to Start-Run- type in……..cleanmgr /sagerun: 99 and hit enter.

The first time you type this in a box will pop up and you choose which things you want it to clean or you can get there by typing  into Run    cleanmgr /sageset: 99    (don’t forget the space following cleanmgr and space following the colon)…Then run the first one and it will automatically run.

After I do this PSP will often run much faster again. I had the same problem trying to make the garland. As I was following Carole’s excellent instructions, and changing the Brush Variance settings, I couldn’t get the garland to run slowly across, not until I performed the above.

                                                              Hope this helps.
