I’ve been looking for this damn “my head on Madonna’s body” for 2 days ….. last night I stopped because I had an eye migraine (A zigzag ring of colored light that twinkled and I couldn’t see anything > not good grrrrr). Today, I’m already starting to get tired…. a little help please Carole for the #3 ??? Thanks )))

Moreover, is it possible to transform a photo of a living being (head of an animal or even of a human, a turtle…harder of a bird) into a metal object with volume and texture, as on photos.
If yes, I would love to know how…i tried a lot, but never succeeded, even a little bit LOL

Thank you very much Carole for asking us for our ideas

I would very much like to know how to make opaque or transparent plastic textures myself. I have already made a transparent umbrella (not perfect LOL I had forgotten to make the other side that we should have seen, precisely by transparency). But I had used a texture collected on a free site. The problem being that these textures are not always suitable for our project. I really like making titles with the tower like transparent stickers around, but I spend hours on it with lots of tries, and suddenly, I don’t know what I did anymore oops (big head but small brains LOL)
Anything that can be transparent: epoxy, glass, crystal, plastic, sticker with transparent border ………. etc.

here is my “not perfect” umbrella LOL

oups @Cassel she’s my granddaughter Moïra LOL always my “model”. She still digs into the old costumes I made for my children when they were young. Here is his father’s costume, about the same age. While grandpa was starting to doze off on the sofa, Mademoiselle came at full speed, in zorro, to get out of there and play with her LOL

hi everyone, it’s working hard here))) bravo everyone !! For this page, I wanted a little more vivid colors (the weather is too gloomy), a little sun wouldn’t hurt. So I chose a photo of my daughter, during her trip to Australia for almost a year, couchsurfing, then on a road trip with people she had met there. From time to time, she found work to improve her daily life (from picking grapes … to caregiver for the elderly). Here, the boys have been fishing and while they are preparing the campfire, Mademoiselle is peeling the fish. Ah adventure, she loved it. I admit that she had courage. I would never have dared to go alone in a foreign country like her. But she trusted the human being. On the other hand, my husband and I have never been so scared when she was so far away. It’s not near France if something had happened to her. (°_°)

                              my day2 sandwich )))
I use one of my plaid made for big10 for the background, and the lines used for this plaid (with effects store & texture fur), for the cutlery, I used the eye candy impact-chrome for the metal and glass for the handles, as well as for the cup-)
for the coffee, I use filter forge for an effect dirty, and then blur.
For the sandwich : filter forge for the texture bread, and my own photos of salade and tomatoe extracted, onions extracted from photos Pixabay royalty free
hope I don’t forget something LOL
oops I forgot my plate: made with my circular element of the big10 made with a personal blue ribbon, recolored and put an interior bevelling effect, then added a background

just registered!! Honestly, I’m not sure yet if I’ll be using jasc psp9 or psp2021, because on the latter I’m not really that comfortable yet.
Moreover, I take this opportunity to ask a quick question about the psp2021: in the gradients, I cannot find the “foreground/background” gradient …. normal or not ??

@libera well! you have very good eyes, personally, I have a hard time reading (my eyes tire a lot) but for my sister, I tell myself that she did not suffer too long and that comforts me a little. As for family deaths (more or less distant family), there were about ten in 1.5 years in 2013/2014, the last of which was my daughter who was 33 years old. It devastated me and I admit that I still can’t get over it. Luckily my son had a lovely baby girl, and that is priceless …. I savor every moment I can spend with them))
@Cassel What belongs to Cesar must be returned to Cesar. The style is given to the various free mini kits that I glean here and there. They give me ideas that I try somehow to adapt to my feelings. Sometimes it matches, sometimes not top LOL but I told you, I love playing with overlays, which totally changes a page (especially in the style of the last page). I look a lot at the pages made by the “pro” scrapbookers (I don’t like that expression) and I try again and again to reproduce a little thing here and there that I liked or intrigued. I don’t just stay in my comfort zone, I love to learn. This is what keeps me going. Scraping is what makes me survive …. But, I never buy. It shocks a lot of people, but I made a deal with my husband, and I still keep my word: I can scrap as much as I want, but not the right to buy. And I understand it, I can’t afford it. Ah one more thing, only one watchword in my head, you have to dare … dare to try and show to have the feelings of other people, to know if what you do can arouse emotions or not. Because scrapbooking is above all an expression of emotions.
Sorry for the extended text LOL
for exemple of pages made to exorcise my sorrows (and especially to show the work done with different overlays). One with my daughter and the other with me

@Cyndi Roether I did several tests, and your initial ribbon must be in the center of your page. If it’s not there, the circle won’t close )) courage, you’re almost there))))

here is a page made with photos of my sister, who died of devastating cancer in August 2020; ((and my mother, who died in March 2014. The page dates from April 2020, so well before the Big10 mini tutorial, but it illustrates the “CutoutPhoto” tutorial well, except that I used it on the frame of the photo))))

I use it on one of my ribbon I made with a tablecloth edge.
damn … I just saw that I had not cut in the right place to have a good continuity of the drawing, damn damn. I do not see where to cut, will have to think carefully)))

The pink page with a photo of my grand-niece by marriage is the very first scrap that I made with a tutorial in June 2007. The Harvest page is the very first page made without any tutorial in September 2007 (I remember having spent hours extracting the 2 grape elements and the metal sheet lol)

on the page of roses : I use gradient made with 2 colors of my photo with overlay on my background, photo with frame with fiter forge for the painting effect, and I extract rose for the bottom of the page
on fisherman page : I use the big photo on background with overlay, border of the page are brushes used only different overlay
