My final project for this Bootcamp. The photo of the stained glass window is mine. The frame is one of Cassel’s, the cross I used as a “T” is from http://www.digitalscrapbook.com. Whew, I have learned so much more this time even if I have done bootcamp before.

I finally finished my day 9 project. The photos are mine. The little robin clip art and are and black stamp are from Creative Fabrica. I did not put any shadow on the little black birds on a nest because I decided they are stamps.
Euka Thanks for answering my question and furnishing the samples.
I want to say how impressed I am with a lot of the project posted, especially with the ones that are created by persons fairly new to PSP. (Not that I don’t love the others too.)Day 7 project. The smiley face balloons as sell as the balloon outlines are from Pixel Scrapper I think. The water splash behind the balloons is something I created some time back. I was not quite sure what kind of shadow I should use on those, but I played with it until I liked how it looked. I did not put a shadow on the balloon outlines because I think they would be stamps or drawn with a pin. I placed the pictures on top of each other because they are on the wider and I thought they would be hard to see side by side
Cassel asked me to share where I got the Spring silhouette that I used at the bottom of my Day 5 paper. Than one and the life is to short in the upper left corner are both from Creative Fabrica and I believe they were both one of the daily freebies. There are a lot of nice silhouettes there, but I don’t know which ones are free.
Euka They are both lovely, but I like the one withe the light background better. I loved the way you used the different sized cutouts of the flower as an accent. Was that done with a script or perhaps the bubbles thing in PSP?I decided to use this picture for my day 5 project. My Husband’s family tried to get together twice a year. This one is from 2018 and several of the cousins have passed away since then. That is the reason for the “Life is too short comment in the corner. Of course I also couldn’t resist some scatter.
Ann S Well done. I have had several Bettas in different colors, but have never had much luck getting a decent picture of them.
Cassel Thanks. I waffled back and forth on wether that text was written or not. I had not thought about making the shadow darker for a busy paper. Thanks.
Nela I thought your hydrangea page turned out really beautiful.
Euka I hope the nasty bugs didn’t eat your pretty lace doilie.
Janet B I thought that background paper was really good for your Coastal Waters page.
George You are never to old to learn. If you are like me sometime the same thing more than once, especially if it is something you don’t use very often. Here is my day 3 project. The original photo is one of my own. The other flowers are all from Creative Fabrica and the raindrop and flower “scatter” are from Pixel Scrapper. It took me forever to get this done because I got sidetracked over at Creative Fabrica and Pixel Scrapper. I love Hawaii and I love taking pictures of flowers so I combined my loves in this one.
Susan E. I like the humor you put into this. I have been doing psp for several years and have done the bootcamp before and I still learned something from this project.
I was really hungry and thirsty so I added a slice of cheese and more veggies. I also added a glass for some milk. Thank goodness I don’t have to worry about the calories in this one. I considered adding a tablecloth but since this is bootcamp and I had already added the glass, I decided not to.

This is not my first time with Boot Camp either. I want to pay closer attention to the “how to” instructions this time and take more notes. This is a stained glass window at my Church that I captured at just the right time of day.
I haven’t posted anything in a while so I thought I would share this. I used Cassel’s lovely shell frame and a photo from my vacation a few years ago. I have always liked that pic and decided to finally frame it. Oh Oh, I just realized my feet are sticking out under the frame. I will have to fix that.

Jingle shells
For day 2 I didn’t have any particular inspiration for this one so I used the same starting picture as in the first one.
Here is my day one project.
I ran across the latest palette challenge yesterday and had a ball playing with those colors. I didn’t keep track of what all I did because I wasn’t planning on posting anything from my play time. I wound up loving this one so I figured I might as well post it.
I took you at your word and played around with these colors just for fun. After using many things including effects I wound up with this. I was not planning on actually posting anything from that particular play time, (so I didn’t keep track of what I did )but I like this one so well I even have it as my P C background. I have no idea what I will use it for but I am sure I will use it at some point.
I decided to do one for the song challenge.
I haven’t been doing much scrapbooking lately but decided to do one for this challenge.
I was checking out Creative Fabrica’s sight today and found this wallpaper (and others) and the world flat map in today’s Daily Gifts. I liked them so much I though I would create something so I could share this info today. I know the world thing would show up better on a more solid background, but I liked the looks of this.
This was just a quick project to show one of the papers and world map that are included in today’s. Creative fabrica Daily Gifts.
I was working on this for the Word Art Challenge but just finished it today. I got this quote off of a calendar page years ago and have always liked it. I have the original page taped to the side of my P C tower where I know I will see it everyday.
I started working on this a few days ago and just had time to finish it. I got this quote off of a calendar page years ago and have always liked it. I have the original page taped to the side of my P C tower where I know I will see it everyday.
I have handled snakes that belonged to a friend but I don’t care much for them. There are a lot of different kinds of snakes in my area. I guess I will never think about snakes without remembering something my Grandmother said. She was deadly afraid of snakes. She said if she was ever bitten by one, it wouldn’t make any difference if it was poisonous or not, she would die of fright either way.
Cassel- Yes I did create it elsewhere and pasted it in here. I figured that was why it was wonky. I will try to do it right the next time. Oh well, Live and learn.
Variety – The types and colors and styles of frames are amazing. They can add just the right touch to a picture, or they can overpower it if you are not careful.
First off I want to say I always look at all the posts and really enjoy them and the comments. I just don’t usually take the time to comment very often. Every one of the projects this month (as usual) are lovely. Here goes my once in a blue moon comments. If I mistyped any names I am sorry.
Bonnie Ballentine The Florida page turned out nice. The bright flowers on the more quiet background was a nice way to show off your state’s beauty. AnnieTobin Your Grab Bags are just darling. I may have to look for that script. Mary Sollas I like the way you put the pictures on the rope. The rest is well done also. Lynda DiGregor On your Mother’s day project I like the purple better, but maybe with the other paper so it is not quite all purple. — I love your button puzzle, my eyes went crossed just thinking about trying to do that Jigsaw Puzzle, Oh my aching head Ann Seeber I love your Wood Duck project. That background you created worked perfectly. What an interesting picture of your Granddaughter and future husband. The birds and hearts really set it off. Corrie Kindel I liked your Walk in the park project. A nice way to show off some of your new purchases. I like the way you used all soft colors your your Mother’s Day page. I can tell it was done with a lot of love. Christina Your “You Rock” project really rocks. I really like it. You better save it for when that little girl becomes a big star. Minka I liked your going home page. I hope the move goes smoothly this year. Sheila Hogg Your rose turned out so pretty. I have been meaning to try that tracing thing, but have not yet. The leaves were a good touch. Hmmm: I have no idea why things spread out in this way, it is not how I intended them to post. I guess I will have to try something different the next tiem.

I had so much fun just playing around the other day. First I created the splotchy page starting with a bunch of bright oil paint blotches on a blank page then smeared them all together. Then I used a bunch of different effects to come up with some interesting things. This one using the spiky halo found under distortion effects jumped and me and said to use it for my Mother’s Day card.
