Working on new presentations of some old photographs. Not “real” scrapbooking but it keeps me busy during lockdown.
Thank you Sandra
Im enjoying this “Trees” theme. There seems to be so many different ways to “mix and match”
I made this with six different layers (coloured and textured)blended on top of each other using the erase tool
This was an “off shoot” of Cassels Tree challenge.
PSP template,my photos and Cassels “trees” with a smattering of autumn leave tubes.
Some very nice and well presented work here. Thank you all for sharing them.
Great to see all the good work being posted. Thank you for sharing.
I have always had a love of trees(perhaps because I earned my living at sea). I especially like the stark shapes of winter. This photo was taken on the Leeds-Liverpool canal @ Gargrave. More a thought in progress rather than a work in progress.
Thanks to everyone for sharing your collages and projects.
August was a very hit and miss sort of month for me.Not much “direction”. I did however buy PSP2021 and had the devils own job transferring onto a new 64bit computer. Hopefully Sept will see me back on the learning curve.
Thank you Libera
Thank you Michele.
Nice work Sawnie.
Like Sawnie in previous posts Ive been blending and re texturing some old photos and giving them@tube@ frames.
There are at least three different photos blended in each project.
Had a little fun with Cassels DIY font and made a frame for a PSP doctored photo.
Picture tube frame,4 backgrounds various blurs and textures ink pen drawings (part recloured) Very random, trying out Cassels tips.
A different (modern shoe) take on my original theme. Recoloured ,textured and framed.
In and around the Faroe Islands. With the added bonus of a guest appearance from the famous Tórshavn cliff dwelling camels .??
Modified PSP2020 template
A photo given the antique painting script,re coloured with the shoes (sandals) added from a catalogue photo. I kinda like the asymmetric frame.
Just trying out some of the many tips, methods and styles that have been shared on this and other challenges.
I think it needs a frame, but I really dont know of the style that would be fitting to this subject.
Tongue firmly in cheek.
I started the background using a photograph I had taken ,I ran two scripts on it then faded it back to a coloured base layer. The various shoes were scrapped of “google” and I removed the background and posted each as its own layer. The title font was a freebie that I altered. Im still trying to find a way to re colour or refill it. (is that even possible?) . In my next session Ill try for a custom frame. Still getting my head around this PSP thing so as Cptn Oats said “I may be some time”
I was sorting through some holiday photos and realized how many great meals we’ve shared on our various trips. What can I say about this one, except I have learned a few things doing it. The main thing being I didnt realize how big some of my photos are. My program kept running out of memory . Do other forum members have this trouble? Its a little (read “a lot”) to busy with the part framing I made,so,perhaps a redo is in order.
I like your “fantasy” style artwork, Trish. It puts me in mind of the”Prog Rock” album covers in the 70s.
Stay safe Nem.
I used this project to try out a few features I hadn’t been aware of before. Although it didnt quite come out as I had expected,I enjoyed trying new things and thought it at least worthy of a quick inspection in the forum.
Just sneaking in my second attempt before the event closes.
Ive enjoyed looking at everyones work, thank you all for sharing.
P.S. Carole, your book arrived 5mins. ago. I have a feeling Im going to be busy for the next few hours.
Very much a newcomer to digital scrapbooking. Its taken me two days to figure out posting my efforts. Oh well onwards and upwards,Ive ordered Cassels book so hopefully will do better in future.
