Here are my Calendar pages for January and February with the added background. I used gradients for the background. This is a fun project! Thank you Carole!
Here is my January 2022 Calendar page so far. I could not resist of turning the snow-man into a snow-cat. I found the Alpine Winter picture and the snowman on line a few years ago when I did a google search on winter images. I added the “I love Snow” to the snowman sign and used what I learned during scrapbook campus about drop shadows, duplicating vector layers and converting to raster layers, to be able to use 3D effects and inner bevel on text. YTou might have to click on the calendar to see the larger picture.
I am in also and looking forward to create a calendar. I will probably use my felines for pictures, just have to find some in a large size as my PSP X9 does not have that new resize tool option.
When looking back at all the Bootcamp classes, I learned so many new ways of using the tools in PSP: Layer options, applying different shadows, using guidelines, pinking shears effect, kerning, aligning text, wraparound text in a selection box, frames around photos, converting vector layers to rasters in order to use effects, etc. Thank you Carole for all these very helpful lessons and tips. I loved everyone’s posted projects with their kind and helpful comments.
Here is my Day 11 – Project 5. I have enjoyed my second Bootcamp and learned something new every week that I had forgotten from last time. I feel a lot more confident now to try new challenges with PSP. For this project I used Papers and elements from Digital Scrapbook. (Digi-Dewi Papers from The Good Life August 2021 Bundle, the flower is from Jessica Dun , frame is from R.Martin Celine at Digital Scrapbook. I filled part of the white frame with a green gradient that was close in color to the green paper for the tiles. Thank you Carole and everyone here for your tips and encouragement . You are all so talented and I enjoy looking at your projects. The photo shows our handsome Smokey. He has crossed the Rainbow Bridge some years ago, but will always have a special place in our hearts

Thank you Susan for your kind comment. I love to use my cats in graphic projects.
Thank you Pirkko for your kind comment. As you can tell, I love cats.
Anita
Here is my Day 9 – Project 4. For the base I made my own paper so it would blend in well with the green in my photographs. The brown paper and striped paper is from Digital Scrabbook. (Marisa Lerin. and Sheila Reed). I used the colors from my photo to make the red small paper strip and then used the yellow from the Stripes paper for the yellow small paper strip. Elements and scatters are from Digital Scrabbook, (Marisa Lerin and Janet Kemp). This project was a lot of fun and I loved the new effects for the text tool. I also enjoyed learning how to do cut-outs by using the eraser tool. I never knew one could do the the pinking shears effect in PPS. Thank you Carol for these Bootcamps. Even though this is my second time, I always learn something new and also get a chance to practice what I learned.
Here is my project for Day 7 – Project -3; I used papers and elements from from Pixel Scrapper (Digital Scrapbooking). The Base paper and plaid paper is from True Friends Bundle by Jessica Dunn, the brown paper is from Sharon Dewi, Heart and Flower elements are from Jessica Dunn, and Swirl is from Brooke Gazarek. The cat outline is from Sheila Reid and I filled it with light Glitter tile and the nose and Bow with dark glitter tile. The photos are mine and picture “Bella” and her buddy “YaPurr”. I had fun and learned a lot about using different shadows, the guides and glitter tile.

Ann, I spent a lot of time in beautiful historic New Paltz. I remember when Robert DeNiro bought a house there and was often seen downtown. I also loved the walks up to Mohonk Mountain House, especially around Autumn when all the “Leaf-Peepers” came to town. Kingston, Rhinecliff and Woodstock with all the many artists, were also one of my favorites, along with Hyde Park in Poughkeepsie, etc. I think I am getting a little homesick for these places and will take a look at my old photos. I have a lot of them on the small diskettes and the new PC’s do not have a slot for them anymore. I will have to check if I can get a diskette player so I can move then onto a flash drive and then I can use for scrapbooking. If not I can always try and scan the photos.
Thank you Ann. What a small world it is. We lived in the town of Wallkill (Ulster County) until 2005. I fondly remember making many trips to Middletown which was just a few miles away. I loved the Mall at Crystal Run. Is it still as busy as I remember? I enjoy looking at your projects here, you are very creative.
Here is Day 5, Project 2. I wanted to do something a little bit different than in my recent first Bootcamp in February. The Photo is my own from the time we lived in upstate New York, about 60 miles from the Big Apple where we spent a lot of time. I do miss it, especially around Christmas, but I do not miss the snow and cold. Both papers are from Digital Scrapbooking, (J. Morgenstern and Janet Scott). I decreased the opacity on the New York City Paper and added the off- white paper from J Scott as background. Elements are from D.S. and Pikpng. For the rectangle colors I picked the red colors on the photo.
Here is my project 1. I used papers and elements from Pixel Scrapper and the photograph is my own. I placed a rectangular border around the photograph with the selection tool just like Carole showed us in a recent webinar and then I filled it with one of the colors from the plaid paper. What takes the longest time is to look for papers and elements etc. that will go with your photograph. I did enjoy looking at all the wonderful kits that are available and I am looking foward to play with those. Thank you Carole, I realized how much I have learned so far and I do enjoy my PSP program so much more.
Carole, I downloaded the bacon from Pixel Scrapper (Marisa Lerin), resized and rotated it. Found the parsley in my older files.
Here is my same Sandwich with added bread, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. I changed the tablecloth (Pixel Scrapper-Janet Kemp) and added a sprig of parsley to top of bread. I also added a light drop shadow to the parsley.
Here is my sandwich. I added another slice of bread, more lettuce, 3 slices of bacon, another tomato and onion. The tablecloth is from Pixel Scrapper (Janet Kemp). Now I am very hungry.
Hello Everyone. This is my second time in the Bootcamp. I enjoyed it so much and I wanted to practice again with all the PSP tools I learned to use the first time around.
Here are my workspace preferences:
Color: Dark Grey on Edit workspace, Tools toolbar on left docked, Standard, Status Tools on top, Materials on top right docked, Layer palette floating, Organizer on bottom closed, Learning Center closed.
Here is my first picture for Day 1 which shows curious “Bella” who is probably thinking about which book to knock of the shelve.
Here is the project I worked on today. I played with the tutorial “Letter Tiles” and it was a lot of fun. I used papers and elements from Pixel Scrapper, (Marisa Lerin, Janet Kemp, Jessica Dunn and Rachel Martin) Thank you Carole and everyone here for helping me get out of my comfort zone and try new things with Paint Shop Pro.
Here is one more project I worked on today. I used the tutorial “Letter Tiles” and it was a lot of fun. I used papers and 2 elements from Pixel Scrapper. (Marisa Lerin, Janet Kemp, Jessica Dunn and Rachel Martin). Thank you Carole and everyone here to get me out of my comfort zone and try new things with Paint Shop Pro.
Here is my project for Day 12 of the Big Blow Out. It is from Bootcamp Day 11. I enjoyed learning how to use new tools for titles, shapes and frames. Thank you Carole, and everyone here for inspiring me.
Here is the second Plait Paper from Tutorial 2 Plaid Pattern (3) on a different background. These has been fun to do, and both remind me of the patterned tablecloths my Mom had.
Just finished Tutorial 2Plaid Pattern (3) and enjoyed it very much. I made two projects and used different colors for Autumn and then placed each project on a different color background. Here is project 1.
My very first Scrapbook page was from the Love Story Challenge, right after I joined the Campus in February 2021. I have learned so much more about PaintShop Pro in the meantime and am very happy that I joined.
For Day 11 I used Cassel’s ID Card from Careers and had a lot of fun with it.
They are handsome boys, Shirley. Love the layout.
Anita
Here is the project I worked on during Bootcamp Day 9 Project 4. I loved the pinking shear effect and I learned more about selection borders for photos. I also enjoyed learning about changing colors and finding out new fun tips about fonts.
Thank you for the helpful tip Sue. I used it and like the results a lot. It is also much easier and as you mentioned, one can resize and rotate, etc. I am very happy I found the Campus where everyone helps each other and shares their knowledge of PSP. I posted results below.
For this project I used Scrapbook Campus Quick Pages, number 3 layout, then selected the photo of my Cat Natasha who likes to hang out in the flowerpot in our garden.
I used Cassel’s script Sparkles, then used the Magic Wand to select the area of the photo in the layout and copied and pasted Natasha’s photo into selection. I felt that the photo needed a little more, so I added an adjustment layer, Vibrancy, strength 40. Thank you, Carole, and everyone here for giving me the inspiration to try this.

This is the project I did in Bootcamp for Day 7 – Friendship. I learnt how to use Guides, so I could scale the 3 photos to be the same height. After that, I played with glitters. It was a Fun class as always. Thank you Carole for all the interesting classes, tutorials and helpful tips. You have made playing with PSP so much fun! Thank you everyone here, you are all very talented and I enjoy all your projects.
Here is another project from Bootcamp Adventure Park, but instead of the Lion I selected a Zebra. This has been so much fun. Thank you Carole and everyone here. You are all so talented and you keep me inspired.
