I changed my QP-6 page a bit. I noticed that the gold embellishment covered a little bit of Cinnamon’s face. so I mirrored her photo. Cinnamon was a Diva and she will like that.

I figured out why my line spacing was not working correctly. I somehow had the Leading values showing a minus 0.700 value. I checked my recent  Bootcamp page where it worked correctly and that number was set to o.ooo, so I reset it and the line spacing works correctly now. I must have messed it up when I used the Kerning on a recent project and used the leading by error.

Here is my Busy QP-6 Page. It pictures some of my Cat Angels: Cinnamon, Mooch and Smokey. They will always be in my heart. I had a hard time with the text wrapping. I tried it with center, left and right align. It wrapped, but text in the next line would always be too close to the text line above, so I did the best I could, centered text and hit return twice so the text would look OK. I must be doing something wrong or have a setting  that is not correct. It worked for me before during one of the other classes,  so I can’t figure it out why it will not work for me now. Any tips will b appreciated.

Here is my Busy QP-5. Both cats Natasha (on left) and YaPurr (upper right) enjoy their playtime. I used Carolina Script for letters F & P and Bernard Condensed for the rest of the title on top, then added a drop shadow. For the bottom text I used Malgun Gothic and added a drop shadow. This was another fun project. Thank you Carole.

Her is my Busy QP-4. I selected an Autumn theme from my hometown in Germany. I had originally planned to showcase my cats, but their pictures were too small to work in the larger top space. and they became too blurry when I enlarged them.

Here is my Busy QP-3 Project. Two of the pictures I found with Google and the bottom is a photograph of my cats, YaPurr relaxing in the beach chair, and Mr. Mooch looking very cool with his hat and sunglasses. I placed both of them on a beach background I had in my files. I used the eraser brush as Carole suggested and it worked like a charm on the 2nd picture. The other pictures fit without needing to erase any areas. Thank you Carole for another fun Quick Page.

Here is my Busy QP2. I used one of my photos showing off  the beautiful Autumn Colors of the Catskill Mountains in NY. Then I played a bit with the Adjust Brightness/Contrast and used -6 Brightness and 35 Contrast. I have not played with these adjustments a lot, but now I really like them, as I can see the difference a little bit of tweaking can make. Thank you Carole.

Here is my QP1. This was quick easy and fun to do. I used a picture from when we lived near NYC. This is in front of the Library which is guarded by the Lions named Patience and Fortitude.

For the November Freebie, I used one of my Christmas greetings from a few years ago, then added Cassel’s star, gingerbread and cane picture tubes.  Our Mr. Mooch already had a candy cane. I have the Star confetti script, but I decided to duplicate the star tube layer and added the star in 2 sizes. For the font I selected Arienne for the S & G and the rest is Lucida Handwriting.

Just found out something interesting. When filling a graphic with a certain RGB color and saving it as PSP, the RGB color will be exactly as used, but when saving same graphic as a jpg or filling it with RGB color first and saving it as jpg, the RGB value differs slightly. On the Harvest Gold the R value is 218 with PSP and 217 with a JPG. I tried it with several other colors and the same thing happened with different values. The change is not too much but it is still there. Any reason for that?

Here is my finished cover for the calendar. For the background I used another picture of my hometown, added a cat png I found on line and cropped it to fit. Then i used the dropper tool to get some of the eye color for the 2022 text.  My PSP did not recognize the font Carole used and substitute Ariel  for it. After trying some other fonts, I decided to use the Ariel with a stroke of 2 in the same brown  as on the picture. This has been a fun challenge and I learned so much again. I wish I had known about Scrapbook Campus years ago. Now that I know about the Campus, I will  enjoy PSP more than ever. Thank you Carole for your patience and guidance. Also a Big Thank You goes out to everyone that particioated and shared their talented work.

Here are my calendar pages for November and December 2022. I also updated my May page by changing the graphic in the extra space on the left. I am working on my cover page and should have that ready by tomorrow. I am sorry I am a bit late, but things have been very busy at work which does not give me a lot of time to play with PSP. Everyone has done such a wonderful job creating these calendars and I love looking at all the pages.. Thank you Carole for making all this possible for us.

Thank you Pirkko. A friend of mine painted Mr. Mooch from a picture I had taken of him. He always loved to be photographed and would pose for me.

Here is my October 2022 page. Only 2 more to go and the cover. The Picture is from a Halloween graphic I found on Google some time ago.  As I was working on it, Natasha wanted to be included. So, why not, I thought let’s see what we can do. Then I used another picture of her to place in the extra space on the left. Instead of the rectangle, I used the eclipse feathered a bit and adjusted brightness and contrast. I used the Carolina font again for the letter O and BellMT for the rest.

Here are August and September calendr pages. The August page has a picture ofour  Mr. Mooch. I used the Carolina Script from Creative Fabrica for the letter S and for the rest  of the letters I used the Harrington font I have on my computer. Thank you Carole for the tip to add a softened and feathered image to the extra space, I had fun with that on both the July and and August page.

For the September page I used a picture of our Cinnamon. Both cats have crossed the Rainbow bridge a few years ago, but they will always be in our heart. I used the Carolina font again for the letter S and finished with the Black Chancery which  I have on my computer. The Autumn leaves are from Digital Scrapbook. I have not had time yet to start the cover page, am working on the next few pages. After that I will start on the cover.

Here is my July 2022 Calendar. I have used another picture from my hometown Würzburg, and of course, one of my cats jumped right on the top of the bridge. I used the Carolina font from Creative Fabrica again for all letters. I love the tip Carole gave us in the video about feathering the selection and also the tip about using the move tool and right mouse click. I have always had a hard time using the selection tool to center it around a project and had to start over many times. This tip really helps a lot as you can move the selection around. Thank you Carole!

The “Fortress Marienberg” overlooks the city and the old river bridge. Würzburg is also known for its many bridges. As I mentioned in my previous project the prince-bishops resided at the fortress before moving downtown to the Residenz Palace. The fortress is located on a prominent spur of the 266-meter-high (873 ft) Marienberg which rises about 100 meters over the Main river on the opposite side of the city of Würzburg. On the slopes around the castle are vineyards.

Here is my page for Day 6 – June 2022. The picture shows the Residenz Palace from my hometown Würzburg in Germany. I used Ann’s very helpful tip and added color to the layer “place picture here”, before pasting the picture. Then I added Carole’s pattern “bush4” for the upper part of the calendar and reduced transparency 24%. Added green color to fill in the lower part. Font is Carolina from Creative Fabrica for all letters  Added Mr. Mooch to the scene to overlook the beautiful flowers. I used to do my school homework in those gardens, it made for a great place to study. Added a psp tube from pininterest in the extra space.

A little historical note: The Würzburg Residenz with its Court Gardens and Residenz Square was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1981. Interiors considered masterworks of Baroque/Rococo or Neoclassical architecture and art include the grand staircase, the chapel, and the Imperial Hall. The building was reportedly called the “largest parsonage in Europe” by Napoleon. The Prince-Bishops of Würzburg used to reside there after moving from the Marienberg Fortress on the hill.

Here is my Calendar for May 2022. The picture showcases our cat Leo enjoying his time on his favorite bench in the garden. Carole, you asked if all the cats on my April Calendar were my own. Yes, Calico Tom and Mr. Mooch have crossed  the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago, but they will always have a place in our hearts and their memories will live on. I used the Arienne Font again for the letter M. Then I used the tip from Carole’s video and turned the date boxes a darker shade of brown.

Here is my April 2022Calendar. I used an Easter image I had downloaded a few years ago, then added  our felines who are always ready for another adventure. The bunny ears on Natasha are from nicepng. Thanks for letting me know about the character map and that not every font has special characters. I do have a lot of Creative Fabrica fonts and will need to install a font viewer so I can use them in PSP. I liked the Arienne font and installed it on my windows system, but I do not want to overload that, so a font viewer would be helpful. What is your favorite font viewer? I used the A from Arienne font, size 150 and stroke 1 and BellMT size 132, stroke1  for pril. The font color is pink like one of the Easter eggs. The tip about using lock transparency is awesome, thank you Carole!  For the calendar weekend dates I selected a golden-brown-orange color, Easter Sunday is lavender, and my Birthday is red.

Just finished my March Calendar. The font I used is ChaseCallash which I downloaded years ago and still like to use. I tried to work with the Character Map and when I selected Unicode Subrange and  Private Use I did not get any thing except for maybe 2 characters which were of no use. I followed all the steps and tried many different fonts without results. I have Windows 10 and Office 365. I hope  I can get it to work, it sounds like a fun project. Carole, you asked for a theme for my Calendar. I might just call it Cat Adventures, as I will be placing the cats in different fun locations.
