Day 4
DigitalScrapbook.com : Marisa Lerin – Tangible hope kit,
with my own photo, me and my DadBrian, great idea to use the colors of country flags !
Marvin, so sorry for your loss. what a beautiful and touching letter.
Just an update. I have one of my external drives that suddenly stopped working. The drive I work on and my data is on it. Luckily I still have a backup.
That’s why I couldn’t continue after day 3. Now busy with new disk and backup !Cassel (#81834) I also like it better this way, and had already tried it, but because I always used -1 or more, it didn’t work of course. It makes sense to use even less, but to use 0.01 has never occurred to me. Numbers have never been my cup of tea
And here’s day 3, I’m way behind. And I also have a lot to read. A lot has already been posted!
Papers come from digitalschrapbook.com from Marisa Lerein and the top one from Janet Kemp
The flower with checks by Marisa Lerein, the clock by Sheila Reid.
The other elements come from PNGwing.Carole (#81714 ) Thank you ! I understand now what whas the problem. The right setting whas -0.1

Carole, thanks for the feed back #81459.
I actually didn’t think of that, I tried it in the meantime, but it doesn’t work. Either I’m not doing it right, or it’s because of the font, everything jumps in such a way that all the text is either gone, or all the way up, or down, but the lines don’t come closer together.
It might be something for the September Q & A session ?Here is day 2.
I followed the tutorial ‘knitting’ in the Lab to make the background. The playing card with the picture is a free template from Carole, and for the ric rac ribbon I also used a script from Carole.
The elements come from PNGWing. The blue background is made with a free overlay and I made the background with the text on it myself. So many beautiful pages and stories have already been posted, too many to comment for me, but I read them all!

What a great idea from Carole isn’t it? beautiful pages ladies, and so interesting to read everyone’s story.
I think the photo of Susan turned out much better. Nicely done Susan!
I applied the Edge Preserving Smooth effect on my photo for the water color several times, but I am not completely satisfied with my result.
For the bottom photos I used the script lifted photo from Carole.
The texts are alphas that I once downloaded as a freebee, and colored them in.Oh! I used the suscribe to calender option, and now I see it in my google calendar, that’s awesome !
Another plus point! Thank you! I also find it easy to have an overview like this, and it makes it easier to plan.
I made this layout with Carole’s StarbursTemplate Maker script.
The original flower and ribbons didn’t have the right colors, I colored them with the colors from the palette. In the picture: my grandparents on father’s side, my parents with myself, and the little picture is me too.
I chose the quotes on the internet, unknow author.
I don’t like journaling either, but I’m signing up anyway, because I haven’t done this workshop yet. I’m afraid I don’t have much to say, but I want to try, and I’m sure I’ll learn something anyway…and just because it’s always fun to participate, and admire the results from all of you!Alphabet Album P
In this project I made the gradient myself with colors from the photos.
The mask with the script cass-MaskMaker from Carole,
the background is made from the large photo. I used the script cass-mirror mirror3, several times gaussian blur.
The frame above and below the small photo is my first time trying this techniqueSuzy, if you download the free program XnConvert, you can easily convert them (webp to jpg), one picture, or more as batch file

Thank you Michele
About he new ‘Frame’ tool in psp 2022 maybe ?
Thank you so much Ann, Susan Ewart, Corrie!
I decided to try the 2 patterns from Lab 12 module 5. The photos are memories from 2004. Back then we had two adopted dogs, and we lived near a forest. That was a good time.
I used the template, and made the Random dot pattern, and Triangle pattern (4).
For the title I followed the instructions from the Basic Scrap Course 1, module 7, and made a gradient with the colors from the photos. -
