Iris, an early one from my garden.
I used the extra’s again………..
This is a Dutch heritage project, the lino I made last year in the Love story challenge (now mask challenge), but could use it perfectly now. Instead of a photo, I used it as background in this psp file.
Doing this mask challenge I remember how much fun it was to make masks, so I probably will do more………..
Christiane #72999 I live in the Netherlands. 🙂
Louyse, what a wonderful bright orange lay out!
Christiane #72974, Counting the days to the start of Season 6 of Outlander, just a few days to go 🙂
Carole (#72927) I used by accident two masks, but it looked so nice so had to keep it! 😀
The mask on this one is a very subtle one in the corners. The pic I used was a bit small, so I couldn’t add more, otherwise you would see the edges of the picture.
I started with the background colour and searched for a pic which would fit that colour.
Carole, I’m so sorry!
The confusion started because of one of the 3 calenders I made I coloured the weekend on the wrong days I just discovered……oops!
I think our calenders are wrong?
March starts on tuesday but on our templates on wednesday? Or do I need other glasses?
It’s so scary, even though our country and Marie-Claire’s isn’t near Ukraine, we all are concerned this will end up in a world war………
Finally some time to work on the masks challenge. I’ve been part of it last year too, (Love story) so I’m only using the extra’s (Diamond) this course.
The church is in the village called “Woldendorp” here in the Netherlands.
Holle bolle Gijs is famous in the Netherlands: Holle Bolle Gijs
The plaid with the church was one I had in my stash, with the colorchanger I made it suitable with the project.
And the bulbs in the basket are from last year, The text says Waiting for spring. The dragonfly and the flowers on the bottom are picture tubes.
I could do with freshing up…..last year was fun to do, but if you don’t use it regularly I forget how to do it…….
QP7-extra Pictures are too busy for the layout, but didn’t feel like starting all over again 🙂
My husband made me a little garden “bin” on height, so if we get older we still can do some gardening.
And the one with the pets ifs from last year. 🙂
I’m cheating a bit: the first page (Elmo) I made last year.
The second project was torture 😀
I didn’t know what to put on the dark background, I haven’t got suitable pictures myself to add. Google is sometimes your best friend and I used that pic four times with different sizes of the figure.
Font is Isla bella with a glowy orange edge (stroke on 5.0)
Corrie, great idea to use one pic in this QP, maybe I will do that too.
Corrie, no damage on your end? 🙂
Here some trees in the little park/forest behind are house are down, but nothing at our house luckily 🙂
QP5
I couldn’t decide on a text on the QP with the stripes on it, deleted the text. Nothing seems to fit somehow. 🙂
Most of the time I end up with pictures of our animals or my garden, trips to gardens and museums 🙂
This time two of our pets, not alive anymore, but loved dearly 🙂
Even quickpages with the same starting point all look so different. 🙂 Well done everyone 🙂
And page 3. Nice they can be made so quick! 🙂
I’m a bit behind with the pages, the reason was a happy one, our first grandchild was born last tuesday 🙂
I wanted to see how the same picture would look like on differnet QP’s. This is the result. 🙂
L = Lounge (of a hotel)
A = Awaiting better times 😉
Oh, Mary, the background paper is awesome! 🙂
I wanted to do a lesson with a brush (from the lab 7-02 or 4 I think),but didn’t have a square one I wanted, so I ended up with a soft edge lesson.
This is the result.
I’m a bit absent , bought myself a Cricut machine, exploring that at the moment. 🙂
I couldn’t resist buying the watercolor script at the store.
My first project with it, is this one. I (what’s the past tense ( ?) of draw? Drawed? a quick line around the couple, so the bottom line wasn’t right, but I wanted to see what would happen using the script, so I left it the way it came out.
Hope all goed well soon with Annie! 🙂
U = useful sources of information (instead of fake ones)
I’v been working on the template Carole provided. Finding the right pictures was the difficult part. 🙂
Photo’s from my garden and trips we made in our lovely country last year.
