T = Thunder
Those are awesome, Lynda. And I loved Peter Max’s work. He’s the King of Pop Art.
P = Pouring rain
I really like it, Annie. I think the elements you used complemented the photo really well.
Personally, I think my mojo is self-isolating.
And I love purple, Annie, so I’ll take the second stained glass tulips. LOL They’re both very pretty, Lynda.
Bonnie, what a wonderful tree you found!
Trish, it’s a lesson from the Beginner’s Workshop.
Cockadoodle doo, Lynda. Love how you did the rooster against a white background. I might have to try him. I did flowers; couldn’t decide on the lighter or more vibrant colors.
Love “peeking” into your lives a little (as Annie says).
I agree with you, Annie. Absolutely beautiful colors.
Adorable, Annie.
Nice use of the QP, Corrie.
Royanne, I love your layout. Gave me a good laugh. How did your husband like it?
Aw, Royanne, that is so sweet. I’ll bet she was more surprised than hurt.
Those are a lot of fun, Lynda. I’ve used this technique a few times for birthday cards. I have a friend who did a nautical scrimshaw table so I ran with that for him. It can take a while, but the result is worth it.
Thanks, Cristina. I didn’t even realize (or remember) that they came with the edge punches. I’m going to be using them a lot this summer!
I just had to share this. I didn’t realize that Cass’s summer punches included edge punches! I love, love, love the edge punches. They made it so easy to create frames and embellishments. (Best viewed full size. Pinks and reds seem to blur easily.)
F = fog
Great pages, everyone!
Here’s a birthday card I made with AnnieC Digital’s Nature’s Beauty freebies. This might be one of my favorite kits. The font is Unika.
The game I play gave us a theme today that we’ve had several times before. I had absolutely no fresh idea of what to do for the daily pic. With all this talk about Pic to Painting, though, an idea appeared. I used one of my screenshots of the game and ran it through PTP using various different settings. Used a brick texture on the wall of the “art gallery” and added a floor I had created a while back. Then I added shots of my avatar in various different outfits and turned them into art aficionados.
Love all the pics you’ve all been posting. It’s certainly a good way to keep busy while we’re home isolating. Hope all are well; stay safe.
I = Ice Storm ~ when it rains and then freezes. It’s a stretch, I know. lol
Thanks so much, Cristina. The little girl is separate from the umbrellas.
I started with one umbrella. Duplicated it and mirrored it vertically. Duplicated twice more and free rotated each of those. Then I merged all four to a new layer and rotated that one 45 degrees. Merged all eight of the umbrellas. Duplicated that layer and rotated it 22.5 degrees. I enlarged the bottom layer a little bit (don’t remember how much). Hence, a total of 16 umbrellas, eight on each layer.
Technically one umbrella and one girl. 🙂
That’s a lovely picture, Lynda. BTW, there is a new What Are You Working On for May.
I love how her ear is sticking out. It’s so sweet.
Wow, you’ve all been very busy beavers, haven’t you? Here’s a pic I made for my gaming group. The illustration is by a wonderful artist, Malika Favre. I’m posting it to show off what you can do with Carole’s Edge Punches. I didn’t have a lot of time to play with them, but they were easy enough to make a quick frame. (Click on the pic to enlarge it so you can see the details of the frame.}
I made this a while ago for a challenge in a PSP group. I love the rain.
Awesome, Lynda. There are 90 projects in BW and they get more complicated as you go. I actually just graduated from BW today! I learned a lot, but it’s nowhere near as fun as the Campus. 😀
I remember that tutorial from BW. It’s very cool.
I love the one you did with the car, Lynda.
G = Good Will Hunting ~ In my opinion it’s one of Robin Williams’ best performances.
Love it, Cristina! Looks like it was a fun day.
B = Big ~ I still crack up when he eats the baby corn like a real ear of corn. Years ago I read that he improvised that.
R = Rashomon It’s an old movie from the 50’s by Kurosawa. I recently recorded it, but haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. It’s considered one of the best movies ever made.
