Made this for my gaming group today. Used a bunch of elements from AnnieC Digitals contribution to the August 2019 blog train, Forever in Blue Jeans. The font is VTKS Core, free from 1001Fonts.
Bonnie, I’m joining your pickleball team so I can have ice cream after the game! Seriously, though, you made a couple of lovely pages.
You have been very busy, Karon. Way to go.
Nicely done, Lynda. I love the peachy colors.
Dawn, it’s so great to see you here even if it’s just to take a peek. When you’re ready to share your cards, we’ll be here and happy to see them.
These are awesome. Way to go, everyone. Libera, your monkey cracked me up.
Great month, Scrappers!
Thanks so much, Annie. <3
LOL, Cristina. It’s like two different worlds to me; only first names here. I sent you a pm on fb.
Great pages, all.
Royanne, I’ve never tried “double” punching. It looks wonderful. I’ll have to steal your idea.
Lynda, I just checked out the Clip To It script. It’s very cool. I think I have to add it to my wish list.
Thanks, Cristina. Glad you liked them. Are you on Facebook? If so, I can help you find some blog trains and AnnieC Digitals. She’s one of my favorite designers. Oh, and my mojo isn’t really back. I “have” to do the daily pics and birthday cards for my group. I’ll know my mojo is back when I start doing more tutorials and challenges. But my group keeps me in digital shape. 🙂
Birthday card using freebies from Scrap Designers June Blog Train. I just adore AnnieC Digitals work. And let’s not forget Cass’s edge punches on the yellow paper. I love her punch brushes.
This is the picture for my gaming group’s daily theme that is chosen by the game. I found this gorgeous layered dress by Dior from 1949. I used the template from Carole’s Lab 8-10. I ran out of time or I would have tweaked it a bit more. Would have been nice to add some shadows. Plus, the dress on the right is askew; the frame was already rotated when I pasted the dress into the selection. I should have straightened it out, pasted, then rotated it back. Oops. Always learning from my mistakes.
Oh, that’s very sweet of you, Cristina. I think I’ll share the pic I made for my gaming group today as soon as I’m done with it.
Very sweet, Royanne. I love marigolds.
Fabulous stuff, ladies. <3
I’ve been taking a look at everyone’s projects and have enjoyed them all. Once my mojo comes out of self-quarantine, I hope to join in again. 🙂
Very nice, Sawnie. As I found out, what you learn here in the Campus can be applied to any project you want.
What wonderful pages!
W = Warp Speed (I think you’ve figured out by now that I’m a trekkie.)
Q = Quasar
K = Klingons! lol
Great job, Cristina. You can find some wonderful free pictures to use on several websites. I like Unsplash and Pixabay.
Y = Yellow dwarf
P = Pluto (poor demoted Pluto)
J = Jupiter
Don’t ask me why, but it’s my favorite planet. I always used to tell my granddaughter that I loved her to Jupiter and back.Trish, I love those old gas pumps.
I drove through Maine once, Minka. It’s such a beautiful state.
I found this really cute illustration (don’t know the artist) and wanted to use it for my gaming group’s daily theme. I just didn’t know what to do with it. After playing around for about an hour or so, I came up with this. I used an elliptical selection, inverted it, then promoted the selection to a layer for a frame. Then I applied Brush Strokes from the Art Media Effects to it. I wanted a symmetrical shadow; I tried various drop shadows, cutouts, etc., but I ended up doing four layers with different cutout settings: 5/5, -5/-5, 5/-5, -5/5. I was probably having a brain fart, but if someone could tell me a better way, please share. Oh, and good old Alex Brush font on a path for the titles.
My latest birthday card. I started with AnnieC’s contribution to the Spring of Teal Blog Train. Then it took on a life of its own.
Minka, I love what you did to commemorate the space launch. I am also fascinated by it all.
Libera, I love your pizza face. It’s adorable.
Have you ever tried Alex Brush, ladies? I find it to be a very pretty and versatile font.
Thank you, Annie. Aren’t her illustrations awesome?
Lynda, I’m glad you enjoyed them. FYI, Fabulous Divas is the name of my gaming group for City Girl Life. I inherited it.
That’s a beautiful result from pic-to-painting, Corrie. You should definitely use it in a project.
Love your hula hoop page, Dorothy. It brought back wonderful childhood memories.
Haven’t had much inspiration lately, but most of you know I have to create a new pic daily for my gaming group. This week I had fun with fonts for the Taiwan Festival theme and fun with randomized patterns in effects: reflection for the Let Off Some Steam theme (illustration by Berni Parker). Click on each image for a full view; it makes a big difference.
I hope you enjoy them.
I am thoroughly enjoying everyone’s creativity. Way to go!
