Not perfect but I got tired of it. I create everything except the photos. The clock is a preset shape
Beautiful!
Edie look under windows at top. It seems like I remember that option thete
Nicely done!
Thank you
Thank you. It was a fun project
Here is mine using the Image from Freepik. I will try the room later. My Great.
Toolbars I keep open are script, Standard, status and tools. Pallets are Layers, materials and tool options. I open others as needed. My Workspace is Light gray and background color medium gray. I do not like a bunch of clutter on my workspace.
I did click on it but Many I’m sure use a cell phone to view and it is not large enough to see the text. Sorry I should have said on my cell. I can read the single ones with no problem. I had the same problem so deleted and switch to 2 before 1 and it works great but leaves space between the 2.
Jean I love the bear pages but can’t read the text. If you upload page 2 first and then add page one it will post them in order.
Day 4 I am just realizing that I should have chosen my photos and subject before I started because I do not have that many to use for the challenge and most are landscape. I do not do well with templates that are created by others but I am trying to fit things in the best I can
My Day 2
I have had a problem getting emails for some time now. This morning I got day 3 finally. Whoever fixed it a big Thank you
Lovely work Everyone! Here is my day 1 finally.
I’m in too but not getting the emails. Thanks Carole for sending me email from a different address.
Great work by everyone. I have been too busy with storms to do anything but decided I would play a bit today. I just tried to make it all with my own stuff
Mine was not much of a challenge. I used scratch remover and just a bit with the clone. The red X shows what was removed. Somehow the site switched my names. The one with the red X is suppose to be Number 1 and the photo where I removed the line and fixed the crack in the cement foundation should be Number 2
Hello All. I see some great designs. I am having a toothache so have not been much in the mood but I do want to try to finish all the days. I am not real pleased with my paper design but I did try. 2019 psp is frustrating and slow. Never have had a problem in the past and I am working on a computer with more ram and faster processor than I have ever used. I am about ready to go back to 2018.
This is my day 1 and 2
what you said in Portuguese
Você está perguntando como obter esse tipo de paleta de materiais, assim como o meu? Se assim for, você iria para
Arquivo> Preferências> Preferências gerais do programa> Paleta e marque a opção “Usar paleta Material clássica”
Day 7 My Grand daughter Beth is grown now.
I have enjoyed this Bootcamp so much. Thank you Carole. I will be looking at my budget for the premier classes.
This is more of my own work except for the bow that I have had in my files for many years. Bow is by: Nicole Kaltenecker
I guess the hyphens were added by the forum when you uploaded the image. Otherwise, I am kind of stumped. Maybe we can do some troubleshooting, but that would have to be through emails. Are you up to that?
Probably not tonight. I am off to my chair for some TV. I will either figure it out or not. I just thought you might know what was going on. I posted it full size on Facebook and it did not do that but it is not a problem of this site because It happens on my computer before I upload after I save it to 600X600. I even duplicated the shadow and it still doesn’t show when I save. The eye is open on both shadow layers. I am too tired to think about it anymore tonight.
@Wanda, are you sure you didn’t save two versions? On the uploaded image, the name has hyphens, but on the screenshot, it doesn’t. Just guessing here.
Carole I also did not put hyphens in my title. I just looked in the folder and none of the 3 have hyphens in the title. I never use hyphens in titles. Sometimes if I add my name I underscore between the title and my name the title
This is a screenshot of the pspimage file. As you can see the drop shadow is on the striped paper. All I did was save the pspimage file as .jpg in 2018 and when I uploaded it to here the shadow was not there.
Carole do you have any ideas? I really paid close attention after the first time it happened so I know it was there and the eye was open on the shadow layer unless the program closed it all by itself. I just tried it again and when I save to .jpg the shadow is still there, then when I resize to 600 it disappears
Day 6 Bootcamp
Not completely satisfied with my drop shadow but tired of messing with this. I have always used smaller shadows but on this one I thought I would try to use the settings that Carole used. They looked too bold to me and I messed with them so they may be all different now on some things. I always create shadow on a layer by itself so I can tweak it if I want to. I redid the shadow on the striped paper twice because when I saved it disappeared. Not sure why but now I see it has happened again. I am using version 2018 because it is the version that is on the computer I am using today. Seems like it has a lot of bugs lately.
Day 5
Jessica is another of my Grand daughters. I created my own background and used an overlay from the kit. I used a few other elements from the Sweet Shoppe kit “Soar” from the link Carole gave us. I selected the butterfly and inverted the selection and tried to repeat the look that Carole had on hers by just spray painting outside the butterfly. These girls are grown with children of their own now. It is such fun looking back! I forgot to use the glitter.
Here is my day 4 project. This is my Grand daughters enjoying a day at the lake. The page is from supplies I made myself and things I found in my files from here and there.
As a long time user of PSP I have had the chance to see a lot of tutorials over the years. Most that are advertised for beginners would leave many very frustrated. I am so impressed with Carole’s ability to create tutorials that not only teach about making digital scrap pages, but are also the very best lessons I have ever seen to teach one how to use the program in a very simple and understandable way.
Here is my Day 3 scrap page. This is my Grand daughter and her friends. I have no idea when it was taken. The kit I used is a very old one called Autumn I believe. It is by Jen White from Digital Scrapper. I may have overdone it on levels but it seemed kind of dull to me. I am also not sure that the orange things needed shadow but they were not a part of the background paper. I typed the word friends and then made a selection and promoted it on the polka dot part and then placed the orange text under to give a 3 D effect. I am kind of out of practice these days since I mostly do tags rather than scrap pages
I have so enjoyed seeing what everyone is doing. Thanks Carole for these classes.
Has anyone received day 3 yet?
Here is my table and sandwich. I had to have some mustard on mine and take the onions off. I was going to add a flower but I forgot. Hope it is not too big I did not resize it.
